Bawan was easy to work with, completed job on expected timeline, and my bathroom turned out great!

We are very pleased with the work completed by MN Construction and Remodeling. Our questions were promptly answered and any concerns we had were made right immediately. We were very impressed with the value and the prompt communication.

Bawan does a great job, but could benefit from improved upfront communication and timeline expectations.

He alone remodeled our entire bathroom (keeping same floor plan). His quote was very reasonable, and he accomplished it all. As this was our only shower, we appreciated his prompt work, especially as he works Saturdays - we did not know this until he told us end of day Friday. Unfortunately, he quoted us 8-10 days, but overall took 15 working days. While some days bogged by snow and holidays, he often wouldn’t inform us if/when he was coming if I wasn’t there when he left.

He was very helpful throughout the process. During quoting, he took detailed notes and measurements, doing the work exactly as requested without further prompting. I sourced all the visual materials, he gave great feedback/suggestions for those that didn’t work, and provided receipts for reimbursement at the end for the rest of materials (<$1000).

When he finished, he allowed us to use the shower before paying. We had a tricky leak (on shower supply line) that he happily returned multiple times to seal up areas until he found it. Additionally, he found a broken tile that he happily replaced in that time.

Overall, I would hire Bawan again. He’s a great guy, works quickly, and does the job well.

I know i saw some poor reviews here and related to what I will say. Now they seem to have disappeared...hmmm. Suspicious.First I really wanted to give a 5 star review but I Can't!! BAwan was late 45-50 min and then waited outside my house for another 40 min before his workers arrived. Total 1.5 hour. They Were supposed to start 09:30 and didn't until 1100. Then workers left 1/2 hour later for supplies and did not return for over an hour. No explanation!!! The Home depot is 5- 10 min up the road. I called Bawan to check and basicly got nothing but "don't worry they are coming and on track to finish". What the hell! Condescending. And upon returning the next day to pick up the garbage (about 5-10 large carpet rolls and padding LATE AGAIN and hour at least. OMG. The job of laying vinyl was done fine but The lateness was such a complete turn off!!!! That simply was not professional. It was disrespectful and there was No apology, no thank you and no explanation. That is not how I do business. Time is valuable as is communication. And it did not happen.
