Review of Halbert AC Service

We came home from a weekend at the cabin only to realize our air conditioning wasn’t working at all. After checking a few things myself, it was clear the issue was beyond my ability to fix.

Since I wasn’t happy with the last company we used, I decided to try someone new and called Halbert. A technician named Mo came out, and right away I appreciated how thorough and personable he was. He walked me through his troubleshooting process—at first the issue wasn’t obvious, but as we continued, it became clear the fan motor was beginning to seize up.

Mo ordered the replacement part, picked it up, and returned the same day to install it. From my first call to a fully working AC system was less than 24 hours. We were back up and running just in time for a hot day.

I’m very pleased with the service, professionalism, and responsiveness, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Halbert—and Mo in particular—for air conditioning repair.

Craig did a great job of checking our A/C. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable and polite. He explained what he was doing as he completed the checkup. At the conclusion of his visit, Craig asked if we had any questions or concerns. We would recommend Craig and Hurlburt.

Mike went above and beyond to get our air conditioner fixed before the heat wave arrived. A definite 5 star for Austin and Drew for their work installing the new system. Kudos to Dylan for his presentation of the options. We are happy with the way this project turned out.

Excellent service! Chase was skillful and efficient. His work was thorough and he was careful to keep our home clean as he came and went to his truck. The work area was spotless when he finished.

I was very pleased with the work and repair Mike did on my AC. For one thing I called on Friday and Mike came on Sat and then came back on Sunday! This is great service. Mike was very thorough. Tim was excellent. We had a sudden leak in our basement and Tim was able to be at our home 2 hours after the call. He found the issue and fixed it quickly. He was thorough and checked each faucet in the home to make sure no other leaks were happening.

Jarrod S from Hurlburt installed a new water heater to replace our 36 yr old unit that died. Installation was smooth, quick, and trouble free. Jarrod answered all my questions, walked us through operation and maintenance and left a clean work space. Thank you!

Our technician, Mike B., showed up the same way—with a friendly attitude and genuine care. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue, but still took the time to explain what went wrong and even chat with us a bit. It felt more like catching up with a helpful neighbor than a service call.

The professionalism and welcoming, family-like vibe really stood out. We’re incredibly impressed and will definitely be calling Hurlburt for any future needs!

Nate from Hurlburt did an excellent job on my plumbing problems. Fixed two leaks quick and easy and inexpensively when he could have made it much more complex and expensive. Even fixed a toilet I haven’t been able to find a part for. He was neat and tidy and knew what he was doing. Great work and I highly recommend

Frank and Dillon came to our home for an electrical inspection the other day. Both of them are true professionals and just top notch guy's! Very friendly and courteous service and in a timely manner. They did a great job at explaining everything with clear options on directions to go with any issues. No sales pitch, just straight forward information. We just had Hurlburt Heating and A/C install a new air-conditioning system. They were highly professional, efficient and easy to work with. I commend Jonah and his team for keeping me informed and for doing high quality work.

Doug T did a great job for us. We had 4 or 5 issues with leaks, corroded valves etc and Doug took care of all of them in one visit. Very pleasant working with Doug. We will definitely reach out to Hurlburt for the next job.
This week we had Jarrod install a new water heater for us. Very reasonable price and lots of good information about upgrading our water supply. These guys are great to deal with!

I can't say enough about the quality of service. We called to schedule an inspection on Wed., and Hurlburt had someone at our home by 8 AM on Thurs. After identifying the issues, a different person came to our home by 10 AM to go over furnace and AC replacement options. They took care of the permitting on Fri. and were able to get the installation for both scheduled for Sat. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Austin and Alex from the installation team were courteous and answered all of our questions. By 3 PM on Sat., everything was done. I highly recommend Hurlburt to others.

Brandon was great to work with. He and his team did a great job installing our new a/c split system. He kept me informed and engaged and patiently answered my questions. His professionalism made the whole process much less stressful. We are very happy with the result.

Jared with Hurlburt diagnosed and repaired A/C quickly! Jared went above and beyond when he noticed back yard gate hinge was broken and quickly fixed that as well.

Keegan arrived early in the time window and took out our old toilet and installed a new Toto with washlet seat. Took less than an hour and he did a great job.
