Landscaping reviews in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Always great variety and can often find plants that I can't else where! Until today would have always given 5 stars... That's until one of your employees called me a "plant nerd" for calling ahead and wanting a specific rare house plant that arrived today. She did not mean this in a kind or funny way. Happy to have my Philodendron Pink Princess now, but the comments are unnecessary when I've been a great customer.

one of my favorite plant stores in the cities! they always have an amazing selection of houseplants including some rare ones. good selection of pots as well! and best of all, dog friendly!

Wonderful place for houseplants and beginner succulents.
.
Multiple hoyas and monsteras. A few common anthuriums and alocasias. Really nice staghorn ferns (some mounted), begonias, and other collector Tropicals. Some unique pothos varieties. All for a REALLY GOOD price. Nothing super rare though I will say if that’s what your looking for.
.
The succulent selection was pretty nice as well. Mostly common species. Most succulents are smaller to medium size. Again really fair pricing.
.
They also offer lots of outdoor flowers and tons on unique pots and accessories. If you mix your own soil they have everything you would need as well.
.
The staff was really helpful and willing to assist. I would definitely recommend this place. -
A very cool little spot that’s worth a bit of a drive for me. Their prices are pretty reasonable for high quality plants and they have a great selection of different houseplants. I also appreciate all their different pots and accessories they have, too. Totally recommend checking them out!

Sunnyside Gardens is AMAZING! They have a large selection of high quality plants and such helpful staff! I came in with an inspiration photo...and Sarah helped me create 3 beautiful planters that make me smile every time I see them! Thank you Sarah and thank you Sunnyside Gardens for being such a big part of the neighborhood!

Sunnyside Gardens is a wonderful local nursery. The garden and grounds were well stocked and Christmas plants and products nicely marked down and flying off the shelves. While looking for a particular plant and planter, I chatted with three members of the staff who were all very helpful. Even in 2020, I've enjoyed checking in throughout the year and always look forward to visiting Sunnyside Gardens during the Christmas season.

I’ve yet to buy anything from Sunnyside, but I wish they would have had something I was looking for! They do have a good variety, but I’m giving 5 stars for customer service, and how lovely their plants are. I had messaged them asking if my pup was allowed in the shop before hand, and they were glad to have her visit. That’s always a huge plus for me when I’m out hunting for plants for my collection. We will be back soon!

This was my first time at Sunnyside Gardens, which was recommended by a friend.
I was completely unprepared for the vast number of plants they offer. When I arrived, it seemed to be a quaint place, but as I wandered around, I found that it seemed to go on forever.
The staff was very knowledgeable, and was always available when I had questions, even making recommendations.
I could have, and really wanted to buy so many different plants. They have a huge variety of houseplants at reasonable prices.
I found exactly what I was looking for more. Highly recommended. -
Thank you SO much for the EXCELLENT customer service I received from Tori and Sarah today! I was missing some receipts that I had misplaced from earlier this month, and not only did they locate them for me- they scanned and EMAILED them to me in a matter of minutes!!! I love the layout and look of the nursery too. It was so comfortable to shop there! (Honestly, I think I could spend a whole day there just wondering around!) BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

The best selection (with sales and points!) of quality plants and cute gifts at the “Trill” shop. I love this place, and enjoy visiting every chance I get! Staff is extremely helpful, and Betsy helped me plan my entire first garden endeavor last summer! My favorite nursery in the Twin Cities!

I am new to housing and nurturing any plants; literally and in middle age! I drove past Sunnyside for most my life, loving the stacks of colored pots in their outdoor offerings. Feeling insecure about my own gardening abilities, I typically just browsed the store to experience all the beauty. !TODAY I PURCHASED! with the help of the amazing 'Toni' who was gracious, knowledgable, and possesses a great eye for beauty, aesthetics. I feel so pleased my maiden purchase was with Sunnyside Gardens; the memories continue!

I wanted to leave some positive feedback from a recent visit. My husband and I came to Sunnyside for new plants for our garden. We asked Toni a question about locating a certain plant and it blossomed (pun intended) into a great conversation about what plants would/would not work in our garden based on sun exposure, spacing, and aesthetics. She even helped select plants based on our vision of the garden and layout. She was absolutely incredible to speak with and couldn’t have more helpful or friendly. I hope this feedback reaches her manager or supervisor because she deserves some recognition.

Great selections and helpful staff! Good gift arrangements. It's easy to forgot what I came here for and go a little crazy (picture evidence)

I was at Sunnyside Gardens yesterday looking for hydrangea plants and had no idea what I was doing - so many different varieties and sizes.
A woman from Sunnyside, named Sue, came up to me and asked if I needed some help. She couldn't have been nicer - she stayed with me for at least 20 to 30 minutes helping me find what I needed and then loaded them on my cart.
I've always been pleased with the quality of their plants as well as their customer service. This is Sue's first year at Sunnyside, although she's been in this business for a number of years and is very knowledgeable.
She is a perfect fit for them and they are lucky to have her - although I bet they already know that. -
With an affinity for building vivariums and a penchant for rare and exotic plants, this is is my number one favorite plant place in the twin cities!
I am in LOVE with the cryptanthus I just picked up from them, its black and hot pink and its going to look AMAZING in the dart frog tank Im building :D -
I wanted to make a butterfly garden in front of my office. Toni took my vision and guided me through all my choices. She made the overwhelming idea a manageable plan. All the plants she helped me choose are beautiful. Her detail and service far exceeded my expectations. I will be back a hundred times over! Please give Toni a raise.

Alyssa was incredibly helpful when i stopped into sunnyside earlier this week. I was having some issues with my monstera and she was able to diagnose the issue and gave me great advice on how to care for it. She also helped me pick out some low maintenance plants to add to my growing collection! Alyssa explained what kind of light and water each plant needed and made the entire experience super fun and exciting! Highly recommend her and can’t wait for my next visit.

By far one of the most beautiful greenhouses in the state! The staff is friendly, educated and helpful. The layout of the yard is easy to navigate with beautiful displays. I had asked for a certain type of perennial and the staff told me of even more options not yet off their truck from that afternoon, then gathered several options for me to choose from. If I could give this garden center 10 stars I would!

Wonderful little spot with lots of lovely pots & a wide variety of plants. The staff was so friendly and seemed happy to be there, helping people. It's just a bit expensive, but worth it to support a local business.
