Constraction reviews in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Our entire neighborhood was hit with hail and I've watched *many* roofing contractors assist my neighbors in the last few weeks. Not one of them holds a candle to Tonka Roofing. Mike, Jesse, and Alex are communicative, knowledgeable, and worked with us and our insurance company to make the "paperwork" part of this process truly hassle-free. The crew who did the work for us (on a Saturday!) were professional, cautious, and treated our home with care. There wasn't so much as a scrap of paper in our yard when they left after the work was done. I can't imagine how busy they are at a time like this and yet we felt like we were their only client. I truly can't recommend them highly enough.

We used Tonka Roofing for our roof, gutters, and siding a few years ago. We had a great experience working with them at that time. In a recent storm, a tree fell and damaged some of the gutter and parts of the roof. They responded promptly and had repairs completed quickly. Great customer service and the work is excellent. Highly recommend!

Mike’s team identified an issue with our roof that our home inspector did not catch and they were able to replace the troubled section within a few weeks. We avoided costly repairs to our new home that would have occurred down the road thanks to his team. Much appreciated! Highly recommend.

Chris Hagen @ Tonka Roofing experience and knowledge is second to none In this business. He has done multiple projects at our homes. Both in minnesota and wisconsin and can be trusted and stands behind his work!
Great community member and a great guy!

Excellent work! Jesse went above and beyond to help us, and took the time to explain the process from start to finish. He worked everything out with insurance so it was a seamless process for us. Alex and the crew arrived on time and all went well with replacing the roof. Thank you!

My roof was damaged during a storm. Tonka Roofing did a wonderful job replacing it. Nolan Hartmann worked with my insurance company, so I didn’t have to worry about the paperwork. Nolan made sure everything was done quickly and timely. I highly recommend this group!

Outstanding service from Tonka Roofing

A very large tree recently fell on my roof causing enough damage that the chimney had to be rebuilt and the roof replaced. Mike McCain from Tonka Roofing helped immediately - tarping the roof- working with the insurance company-finding a mason to repair the chimney and giving me peace of mind.

The day of installation went really well. The crew was on time and worked hard to finish the re-roofing in one day.

The roof and chimney look great. I'm so happy with the results. I highly recommend Tonka Roofing.

Tonia roofing did a great job on my new roof after a hail storm. Nolan worked with the insurance company directly to get things covered. The communication with both Alex and Nolan throughout the project was good and the new roof looks great! There were plenty of storm chasers throughout the neighborhood but Alex and Nolan were both professional!!

Highly recommend Tonka Roofing. Chris & Nolan were so great to work with. They helped us battle with insurance to maximize storm damage coverage. They were always there to answer our questions, guided us with each next step & kept us in the loop. Our new roof and gutters look amazing. If you are looking for people to support you every step of the way, these are your people! We are so thankful for them.

The Tonka Roofing team helped me navigate a challenging insurance claim situation after a tree fell on my home. My insurance provider was not exactly willing to come to terms right away, but after a diligent effort they settled the claim and Tonka Roofing did a great job with the entire project. Highly recommend working with them!

Start to finish, I had a great experience working with Tonka Roofing on my roof replacement. Everything was thoroughly explained, communication was great throughout, and the work done was top notch. I found their prices to be very competitive and an outstanding value. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to work with them again!

Hi Casey,
I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with the job you ALL did!
The scheduling, notice, the work crew, clean up - nice!
The new roof looks great!
Thank you for making it so easy for me.

We could not be happier with our new roof! From start to finish Tonka Roofing, and specifically Nolan, exceeded every expectation. Their attention to detail was wonderful. The crew worked efficiently, kept everything clean and treated our home with respect. Nolan dealt with the insurance company numerous times challenging them on their rejection to pay. He made a huge difference and we received the coverage. I would highly recommend Tonka Roofing to everyone!

Totally impressed with Tonka Roofing. After we were hit hard with hail a few weeks ago, we called and met with Jesse. Jesse’s upfront inspection and quoting was superb. He was knowledgeable with the ins and outs of working with our insurance company. His follow up and customer care was awesome. A few days prior to our scheduled replacement, Jason, the team supervisor called and walked us through the repair day. Then he and his team arrived at 6:45 before sunup, and hopped onto it for 13 hours. Spectacular work and great clean up.

The guys at Tonka Roofing are fantastic. I noticed my ceilings were leaking, they came out same day and inspected the attic space for me. Their ability to fit me in their schedule and take my concerns seriously was so appreciated. Having a ceiling leak is a scary thing, but Tonka gave me peace of mind.
They were very honest, straight forward, and someone I can trust!
I highly recommend Tonka Roofing!

We had a great experience with Tonka Roofing. Our roof was damaged during a hail storm, and the Tonka Roofing team walked us through the entire process of assessing damage, meeting with our insurance, and ultimately getting our new shingles installed.

Great communication start-to-finish, and super helpful throughout the entire process.

We absolutely recommend Tonka Roofing!

I couldn’t be happier with the work Tonka Roofing did on my home! From the initial consultation to the final clean-up, the entire process was professional, efficient, and stress-free. Their team was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I felt confident and informed throughout the project.

The quality of their work truly speaks for itself. The new roof looks fantastic! The crew was courteous and respectful of my property. We noticed that even with all the hard work going on, everyone was very happy and got along well. Excellent communication!!!

It’s rare to find a company that combines top-notch craftsmanship with outstanding customer service, but Tonka Roofing does exactly that. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing work!

I reached out to Tonka Roofing thinking I had a roofing issue, and Karl was incredibly helpful. He took the time to assess the situation and honestly let me know that it wasn’t actually a roof problem. Instead of pushing unnecessary work, he pointed me toward other experts who would be better suited to help and even provided contact recommendations.

Karl was timely, professional, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right solution. I really appreciated his honesty and guidance. When I do have roofing needs in the future, Tonka Roofing will be my first call.

Excellent experience working with everyone! Friendly, professional and helpful staff! My roof looks great and everything was cleaned up well. Thank you for your service.

This was done through my insurance company for payment. I paid my deductible only.

Tonka Roofing did a great job on our roof! Jesse walked us through and dealt with our insurance company. Jason was on site and kept us updated with the progress of the crew who were organized and professional. Our neighbor even complimented on the nice job they did as our yard looked better than before they came.
I would recommend Tonka Roofing to anyone needing their services!

Ethan and Tonka Roofing met and exceeded our expectation with the project at our home in Minnetonka. They conducted an initial inspection, scheduled with our adjuster, and got all the repairs done timely. They even brought in their custom metal fabricator to complete some technical portions of our re-roof. I highly recommend you consider using them for your exteriors projects.
