Tom provided a thorough evaluation of our home, which was completely optional, and he then gave our family choices of projects--spanning prices from a few hundred bucks to a few thousand. We decided to do the work in phases, which he had described in detail, so we knew what we were getting into.
He didn’t mind which direction we went; he just wanted us to do what’s best for our family. He worked with our schedule to get everything wrapped up.
Tom is the owner and the craftsman doing the work, so he has a lot of "skin in the game" which we liked. It’s a rare opportunity when you get to work with the owner which is another reason we chose Tom, and it's the reason we’ll keep using Tom with the next phases of our home.
