Wow. We couldn’t have been happier with the process and service we’ve received during our initial install in 2020, our solar expansion (adding garage panels) in 2021, to the addition of squirrel guards to keep out the buggers who wanted to overwinter on our roof! We chose them because they were local (lots of companies aren’t based here - there is more accountability from a local business). Communication was excellent, the application process with Xcel went as expected, the team has their process down to a science. We’d received quotes from two other companies and MN Solar was priced competitively. Very happy with how everything is performing 3 years later and would not hesitate to recommend!

It has been about 3 years since I got my solar panels installed by MN Solar. The entire experience, right from sales, contracting, permit, installation to after sales service, has been absolutely phenomenal. Their project supervisor was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Furthermore, my actual solar generation over the past 3 years has been very closely tracking with what was forecasted during the sales stage - so I know I wasn't sold something that wasn't accurate. The sales team were helpful in helping me make the decision of which system was best for me. The crew that installed it were very professional, they did a great job with the installation. They made sure all the wires were tucked in properly. Even the state electrical inspector commented on how it looked. I’ve only had it for 3 months, and I’m very happy with its performance.

In 2022, I had a 24 panel Solar system installed by MN Solar. They were very professional, efficient and handled all aspects of the project from the initial permits, working with the local power company and providing their own trained installers and electricians. The software program they provide to the customer is great. I am able to keep track of the energy produced by the system at any time of the day from anywhere and even drill down to the production of each panel. From a greenhouse gases perspective, the system has saved close to 11,000 pounds of CO2 emissions to date. I highly recommend MN Solar based on their high quality system and installation services.

MN Solar had moved my solar panels from my roof (storm damage required shingle replacement) to a ground mount. They now produce a LOT more power and are way easier to clear snow in the winter. They just completed a 24KW Generac installation and I could not be happier. They cleared the area, did what they said they would WHEN they said they would and started it up without issue. I had a great experience with MN Solar, and would recommend them to anybody and everybody. The sales service was great, as Kim and her team responded quickly to questions I had. As I learned more from other contractors, I'd then have more questions, but they always helped along the learning curve. The after-sale service was great too, led by Leah and her team of project managers and installers. The installation plan was great, and they were flexible with different installation designs. Installation itself went well, and was done in just a day or two. Finally, the after-installation service was outstanding. The MN Solar electrician came out to assist Xcel get the connection live, which was fast and easy. Some months later, I had a roof leak, and a trio of guys came out the next day to take a look a look with the roofer, and they pointed out the roofing flaws that were causing the leak, and that it wasn't the solar install that was the cause. Anyway, overall, it was great, and if you are in the market for solar, be sure to get an estimate from MN Solar!

MN Solar ROCKS! The installation crew was great. Super knowledgeable and very skilled. They arrived when they said they would cleaned up each day before they left and were extremely pleasant. A few years after the install there were issues with the internet transmission for the tracking of the energy data and MN Solar had a team out to replace the part in short order. We are so very glad for our relationship with MN Solar!!!

Their installation crew followed through with the timelines and expectations that were set on the front end. We just passed our one year anniversary of having solar panels placed on our roof with MN Solar. What a great company to work with!
