We hired Stern Heating and Cooling after getting a couple of estimates to replace our gas furnace and AC. We also needed a new water heater but was certain we’d need to hire a plumber for that job. We were in for a big surprise when Ben stated they replace water heaters as well. Getting our estimates for similar units of two different brands was eye opening. We chose American Standard with Stern Heating and Cooling based on word of mouth as well as Consumer Reports ratings. We are so pleased with our purchase. Ben and his brother Chris did an EXCELLENT job of installation. It was quick and efficient. They left the work zone cleaner than it was before they started! We can’t recommend Stern Heating and Cooling enough!!

Our furnace went out over the weekend. Ben gave us a reasonable quote and was able to come out first thing Monday and get our furnace replaced before another cold spell came. Quick and quality service. Highly recommend!

Ben was prompt and came prepared to fix my boiler. He was my second opinion after getting a very large quote and a push from another company to replace my whole boiler. He had the parts and was able to get it all back up and running within an hour. The other company didn't want to repair and said they'd need to put the parts on order and it'd be another week or 2 without heat. So glad I contacted Ben Stern, my only regret was that I didn't go to him first.

Ben was able to quickly diagnose and repair an issue with our old boiler when others had pushed us to replace the whole system. Greatly appreciate their prompt service, honest assessment, and excellent rates. We'll continue to recommend Stern to our family and friends!

Our heater went out on a winter night. Ben was at our house within 30 minutes. He got us up an running as fast as possible. I highly recommend Stern.

Ben Stern of Stern Heating and Cooling installed our new wood boiler last year and our new A/C and furnace yesterday. He is knowledgeable, competent, reliable and most importantly honest. Also while he was here, it took him just a few minutes to fix our hot water heater which we thought needed replacing. We plan on hiring

Professional, polite, quick. Furnace stopped working during a cold spell. He came within a few hours of the call. He got it diagnosed that the control panel was bad and had us up and running within 30 minutes. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The technician was prompt and respectful of our home. Stern has very competative rates and is always available to give you a quote. They came highly recommended from a coworker and we will be using them again in the future!

The service guy was nice and curious. However, he charged $100 for a small part that at Menards or Home Depot costs $20-$30. I called the owner to complain but he wouldn’t reduce the price. Kind of feels like a ripoff.

Their truck almost ran me down on the road going about 75 in a 50 when I was already going slightly above the speed of traffic. And then proceeded to floor it again once I was out of the way and Drive off the road three times while honking at cars in front of it.
