Charlie and his team are fantastic. They completed the job in a tight timeline so we could have it for a large party a few days later. Provided a lot of different options and were open to different ideas. I’m going to use them again for my next project and I have been referring them to my family and friends.

Charlie and his team are the best of the best. They have completed a number of projects for us including a cedar fence and deck, landscaping, stone fire pit, and structural support for a porch addition.

Our project was small but a little unusual: designing and installing the hardscaping that would provide the structure for future landscaping. We had a design in mind — something that would look good now but fit into the overgrown English garden look we eventually want. It included a couple of patios, stepping stone paths and a garden bed along the sidewalk with picket fence sections between pillars of stacked stone. It all had to look natural, and like it could have been there for years. We talked to several companies, but Charlie was the only one who really listened and got the vibe we were looking for. He worked with us on the final design and was very responsive throughout. He had great suggestions. When the work began, his crew was amazing: polite, efficient and extremely professional. They were careful to avoid damage to the yard and left it spotless each night. We could not be more impressed with them.

We were originally referred to Charlie by a friend to help refresh the landscaping in our front yard. He came out, created a proposal, and we decided to move forward, and we’re so glad we did. Charlie had a great vision for the space and really knew his stuff when it came to choosing plants that would thrive in our soil, look great together, and last through the seasons. When one of the trees he planted didn’t make it, he replaced it without any hassle. Since then, we’ve had him back to install a paver patio under our deck, update our backyard landscaping, and most recently add underdecking. I really appreciate Charlie’s creativity and ability to see potential in a space. His crew is always on time, respectful, communicative, and they leave the worksite clean every day. Every project has been a 10/10 experience for us. I’d absolutely recommend him.

Landscape Charlie did a major and very expensive installation of walls, pavers, etc about7 years ago. Two terrace walls began sagging vertically and horizontally 4 years ago. The photo was taken today (March 9, 2024). I wonder if the foundation for the walls was sufficient. In any case, the wall will have to be rebuilt before it collapses. I tried to contact Charlie about this more than a year ago and got no response. I do not recommend him

We’ve worked with Charlie a couple times now and every time has been a great experience. We started with some basic landscaping to clean up some of our edge work and rocks, and then, over time decided to do more. Just this spring we had him turn our backyard into our oasis for summer and winter fun.
He and his team were excellent. When he originally came over, we had a couple high-level ideas, but Charlie took it to the next level. He designed the entire porch, deck, pergola’s, and everything in between. It came out so much better than we had ever expected, and it was the little things that made it the best.
From custom lighting underneath the pergola, and on the patio, to the custom-made bench that holds the cushions for our couch. Also, he had an idea to put a stand-up bar on the edge of the deck for a casual leaning space. Everything has worked out so fantastic.
During the project he and his crew were super polite. They came early left on time and left the site super clean. We have two small kids so we were a little nervous about nails and other fragments being left in our rocks or grass, but we haven’t found any yet. We are so happy with the work that Charlie has done for us and will definitely be asking him to do more as we think of different projects for him. I would highly recommend using him for any of your landscaping needs, as he’s also just a really fun guy to work with.

What do you get when someone has great creative and artistic landscaping ideas and the skills to make it happen on time and within budget? You get an amazing new backyard! We moved into a nicely remodeled home with a neglected yard. We connected with Charlie, and he merged our ideas with his expertise to create an amazing new outdoor living space (see the before and after images). Also our new privacy fence is so nice people literally stop by and ask us who did it. Charlie recommended the fence be horizontal instead of vertical to integrate with the front of our home. We are happy to recommend Landscape Charlie. In fact we're already scheming about asking him to do another project!
