Joe and team were wonderful to work with. We did a new roof, vinyl siding, gutters, gutter screens and soffits. Anchor added finishing details the other contractors didn't suggest and still came in several thousand dollars below the other 2 bids we got. Joe was also very patient in explaining the flow of money from the insurance company to us vs. the value of the claim vs. deductibles vs. depreciation. He made the math simple for me.

I highly recommend Anchor Roofing! Stu and his group of guys were just great in every way. The pricing was reasonable, and he was constantly in contact with us on the timing and pricing so there were no surprises. Stu really helped us navigate through this process effortlessly. The crew was courteous, quick and did outstanding work on our roof, siding and the LP trim and finishing touches – really great with the little details. They did a good job cleaning things up when the whole project was complete. Absolutely a great company to work with all the way around. The house looks amazing and my neighbors compliment us on the transformation.

This review is for Anchor Roofing & Exteriors. In May, 2022, my house had hail damages, involving roof, siding and gutters. I called several contractors, including Anchor Roofing & Exteriors. The president, Stu Hudson, came to my house and made evaluation same day. Based on damages carefully observed and documented, he represented me to negotiate with my insurance company on my behalf. Via couple of back and forth, eventually insurance payout was very satisfactory.
Then Stu helped me to wisely use the insurance payout. By adding a little funding, I replaced the roof and also replaced original vinyl siding with LP smart siding without touching minor dented gutters. This improved insulation and appearance of the house. I have to mention that his quotes for the projects are most reasonable when comparing with others.
Anchor Roofing & Exteriors worked on these projects. They are very reliable, careful and always following schedules and communicating when weather conditions changed. They completed projects with excellent quality professional work. I am very satisfied with their work quality.

As an award winning residential General Contractor we use Anchor Roofing and Exteriors exclusively on all of our projects. Their customer service and attention to detail is impeccable. When they promise to do something, no matter how large or small, it gets done immediately. If a problem arises (as it often does in construction projects) Stu and his team just roll up their sleeves and solve it. The best part is that our exterior projects are consistently completed on time and on budget.

Joe and his team were great. I reached out to other companies before them (companies that my insurance company suggested), and the communication left something to be desired. However, when I reached out to Anchor Roofing, I immediately got a response, and the communication was easy and efficient from day 1. Joe worked with my insurance and made the process easy to understand. Not only did him and his team replace the roof, but they got the roof supports up to code per St. Paul code, and got the insurance company to cover it. Him and his team completed all the roof work on time and did not go over budget. They submitted before and after pictures and documented everything they did. They cleaned up everything and there was no trace that they had been there. Hopefully I won't need any more roof / siding repairs, but if I do, I will reach out to Anchor Roofing. Thank you again.

He helped us with the selection of type and color of the shingles. We couldn't be more pleased with the final choice.

His crew was great and have been working with him for years. The shingles were attaached in a beautiful fashion and they were obviously perfectionists. There were 13 people working and worked very long hours so the work was done very promptly. The crew was very careful to protect the plantings and flowers near the home. They cleaned up every night. They were polite and professional.

We felt his bid was very fair and he stuck to it.

Without reservation, we highly recommend Anchor Roofing & Exteriors. We met with Eric who answered all of many questions thoroughly and listened carefully to our concerns about our 100 year old home. After agreeing to having our home reroofed, we realized that we needed to replace two skylights. That change was efficiently handled and Jeff did an excellent job in finishing the interior framing and installing the blinds. The crew that roofed our home and garage were very careful around our landscaping insuring roof removal debris did not damage the plants. They work quickly and efficiently with a thorough cleanup. There was always an onsite crew leader and Eric was also on site several times. Eric was easy to contact throughout the whole process. We are very glad that we chose Anchor Roofing & Exteriors.

We were nervous about what roofing company to choose from since part of our roof is complicated and none of our friends and family could recommend a roofing company that they had a good experience with. We needed our roof and gutters replaced from wind damage and we did extensive research to find a residential roofing company that was local we could trust to do professional, high-quality work. Joe Larson and Anchor Roofing and Exteriors stood out from the rest of the roofing companies with their extensive experience and expertise in roofing and exterior work. Their exceptional warranty and their amazing customer service also convinced us to pick them as our contractor.

Joe was very knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and responsive throughout the whole process. Joe was prompt in contacting us the same day we left a message and came out to inspect our roof the next day. Joe went on our roof and pointed out some areas that could be causing issues and would need extra attention which the other roofing contractors did not catch. Joe provided pictures and a detailed explanation of the areas that were concerning. He provided insightful suggestions on how to improve our roof and gutters.

Joe discussed with us the pros and cons of the different roofing manufacturers and their shingles. He provided large samples of different shingle colors so we could have a better vision of what the color and quality of the shingles were like. Joe was patient with answering all our many questions and explaining the process of removing and replacing our roof and gutters.

We have received many compliments from our friends and family on the workmanship and how great our new roof and gutters look. We and our neighbors are impressed on how well organized Joe and the Anchor Roofing crew were and how well they cleaned up during and after completing the job. The project manager, Joe, and his crew were very conscientious of keeping our and our neighbors’ yards clean and not leaving any nails and any other debris. They used a roller magnet after completing the roofing job and the project manager made sure our yard was cleaner than when they came that morning.

Joe was very hands on and did a wonderful job updating and communicating with us how the roof replacement was going. Joe came before the crew showed up to ensure everything was ready to go and also made sure throughout the whole process that everything went smoothly.

The new roof past the test when we had a heavy rainfall and did not have any leaking which made us quite happy. We are very pleased with both aesthetics and durability of our new roof and gutters. I've since recommended Anchor to 8+ families in our neighborhood because of the exceptional quality and care they put into the entire process from start to finish. It's clear that Anchor is a well oiled machine, with the added bonus of truly empathetical project managers that understand how important your home is to you. Anchor replaced our roof and gutters because of a hail damage. They were helpful during the insurance process, kept us up to speed, didn't oversell and educated us appropriately when needed. We have a larger home with a tricky roof, but Anchor knocked it out of the park in a timely manner without a single hiccup. Again, I highly recommend Anchor 10/10!

An excellent experience with an outstanding contractor. Eric (estimator and project manager) provided thorough information and communication with USAA (our insurer). Eric said, when providing his estimate, that he would manage the installation....and he certainly did. He spent the entire day it took to remove old and install new roofing. He recommended and installed Certain Teed Landmark ClimateFlex Class 4 shingles which resulted in a $100/month reduction in my home insurance with USAA. Our new roof ads a new value to our home.

Eric and Anchor Roofing completed a new roof for our South St. Paul home. It was an amazing experience. Their prices were excellent as was their customer service. Eric kept me in the loop during the entire process. The crew worked their butts off and the site was spotless after they were done. Finally, Eric is a great resource for other services - if they don't do it, he can recommend others who can. I highly recommend Anchor roofing.

Joe came over to inspect a leak that was coming through our ceiling. Did an overall inspection let us know some of the smallers issues with the roof from using the roof rake in the winter and was able to patch up the spot that was leaking. He didn't try and pressure us or tell us we needed a new roof. Definitely will be giving our business to them when the time comes for a new roof.

We found Anchor and Eric through a neighbor. We were looking just for a “facelift” on our 24 year old home. Eric was super helpful and willing to work with us on this smaller project. He had suggestions on how to bring our house out of the late 90’s without having to make significant structural changes. Our only “problem” was that the front looked so great in its new LP Smartside that we wanted to go ahead and do the rest of the house! Was pleasantly surprised that it was actually affordable since it was all out of pocket for us. Crew was always friendly and respectful. Kept the yard tidy. Having dealt with a few less than stellar contractors over the years, I can’t say enough good things about Eric and Anchor. And so so happy that we were able to refresh the entire house.
