We had an urgent need for ice dam removal and reached out to the only contractor we trust for home needs and that's SMC Construction.

They worked quickly to schedule the work, kept in constant communication with no nonsense pricing. The crew was very professional and did a excellent and thorough job of getting rid of our ice dams.

They also advised us on how to address the root causes of ice dams. Thank you Enis and Sinan for taking care of us and our home!

Found their convenient showroom right off Highway 65 in Spring Lake Park and with their guidance really helpful in making decisions and visualizing what was possible. SMC Construction is a wonderful group of people that do a really fantastic job and are also just good people. They redid our bathroom ripping back all the way to the studs. This was not a simple job and was our first very big project in our house. I felt like we were a part of their team and they explained everything along the way. They may not be the least expensive bidder out there but I'd for sure trust them with another of our larger projects. There were some timing delays but they did a great job keeping us informed about the shipping issues and revised timelines. I think the main reason I'm giving them a five instead of a four is that they even followed up after the project was over to make sure everything was still up to snuff and when there were a few small issues they promptly came back and fixed them. I love that they stand behind their work and deliver on their commitments. Also, the bathroom is gorgeous and is now my favorite room in our house!

The SMC team just completed an install of 27 Pella Lifestyle windows in our Edina home. The team was efficient at its work, cleaned the site up nicely each day and very much so at completion, left all windows squeaky clean and participated in the city inspection to ensure all went smoothly. We have asked Enes of SMC to quote us for further work on our home, as we were very pleased with the workmanship, follow through and communication.

SMC remodeled my kitchen and from the great design assistance that Karysa provided to Brandon ensuring the project stayed on task and completed, it was a great experience. Great communication and quality craftsmanship. Very pleased with SMC.

We used SMC to install the drain tile along with the sump pump in our basement. The process was great from start to finish. These guys were professional, experienced, efficient, and very kind. Thanks Sinan & the crew!

SMC and their crew did high quality work, listened to and were patient with our questions and decisions. Brandon, our project manager, always kept us informed of the status of things. They were very reliable with scheduling and could always be counted on to deliver what was promised. We highly recommend them.

Sinan and his team are incredible. They spent over a year helping us design and plan our attic remodel and were patient and helped educate us every step of the way. They were respectful of our budgetary requirements as well as our idiosyncratic decor requests. We ended up buying another house and turning this into a rental, but we would absolutely use them for any remodel jobs in the future.

Enes Gluhic has been a tremendous help with our home repairs after a neighbors tree fell on our house and deck! He made sure to be at our house when the insurance adjuster came to our property and together they went over EVERY detail that needed to be addressed. Enes is always extremely responsive, knowledgeable and has always made me feel as though my project is his top priority even though I know he is working on other projects as well. Enes is a gem of a contractor and I feel so grateful to be working with him!

I worked with Enes and his team on a window replacement project for my residential assisted living. He took the time to understand my project and make sure the criteria was met. We were on a tight budget and Enes was open to modifying the scope to lower costs. Minor issues and slight delays were well communicated and taken care of in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

We've used SMC for variety of small projects we've had around the house. They got right back to me, had great ideas about how to handle the project, got the work done right the first time and were done when they said they would be. It's clear that Sinan takes personal responsibility for all of his projects and has high expectations for the work done by his team's.

We have worked with SMC in the past with great results, so after a hailstorm hit our new house, we called SMC again to help us deal with an insurance claim. Enes was able to get us new siding and also added some gutters for us. He made a good recommendation for us to add pvc trim around our windows on the outside to make future window replacement easier and less costly, which we greatly appreciated. The exterior of our house now looks great, and we couldn't be happier with the work that SMC did. A home run, once again! Thank you, Enes and SMC! We appreciate you guys.

Enes and his team are incredible. I've had my share of contractors and handymen that made me feel like a nuisance, did rushed work, banked on my naievty, whatever. That's not these guys. We had a large structural damage issue with our new home and needed some serious help. Enes came out, was kind, respectful and honest. He helped us keep things in budget, explained the process, and communicated wonderfully throughout the entire his process. What could have been a wildly stressful experience, was breezey. His team respected our home and got done well ahead of schedule.

They also use an app to document progress with photos, invoices, etc. It's great for those of us that like to be kept in the loop.

They are skilled, great communicators and can't recommend, or thank them enough.

Sinan, Dave and the entire SMC team were a pleasure to work with for our bathroom remodel. They patiently waited for nearly a year as we worked through a wet space remodel by another contractor, then jumped to action when the time came for the dry space remodel. They were present both in person and over the phone/email to talk us through the project and answer any questions we had. They flexed to allow for cost savings where we could find it. Ultimately, they delivered a high quality remodel job for our bathroom and we couldn't be happier. We will be giving them a call for our future projects and recommend them to anyone else as well.

Went through several awful contractors before I stumbled upon SMC. Sinan, Enes and everyone who has taken on projects for our house has been wonderful to work with. Don’t expect this to be the cheapest estimate you receive, but the prices are extremely fair and a great value considering the quality of work, the level of care and and the knowledge they bring into their projects.
I continue to return to SMC for every project we’ve had done on our house and they have yet to disappoint. I very highly recommend this great team.

SMC did a great job with our deck, gutters and storm door. Sinan clearly listened to what we wanted and found us great options to meet those needs. He was great with communication throughout the project and always kept us up to date on the timeline of the project. We always felt like we were his most important client throughout the process. The cost was very competitive and in line with his initial estimates. We would highly recommend Sinan and SMC construction and look forward to continuing to work with them. I highly recommend SMC. I've hired out for many projects over the years, maintaining my house along with rental properties. In the last couple years, SMC has become my go-to contractor. I found SMC to be distinguished from competitors by their professionalism, quality, and customer service. Sinan is very knowledgeable and helpful, so that I was confident in both the project plan and terms of the contract. He and his team were very timely in getting the work done and addressing questions or concerns through to and after completion.

We’ve had Sinan and the SMC crew do many construction jobs for our home. They replaced our deck, remodeled our entire master bath and is always available to help when we run across a construction need! His crew are great to communicate and work with from start to finish! We highly recommend them!

SMC Construction has been a great support for the Construction Trades Program at Spring Lake Park High School. Sinan, Enes, and Fred have helped out our students with materials and expertise. Every time I ask for help or guidance from any of the crew over there, they are prompt, helpful, and willing to take time to support us. It is clear they care about their local community!

SMC was willing to take on my job. It was an important job for me, even though most other companies said it was “too small”.
