I had our old, original hand railings in the front of the house replaced. The new railings are beautiful and sturdy.

SMC Construction did a fabulous job! We replaced 15 year old carpet and laminate with luxury vinyl flooring throughout our condo.

Sinan and his team put forth 110% each day on the job. They were professional, detail oriented, completed the job on time and within budget.

I just had SMC Construction put a new roof on my house and the process from start to finish was amazing! Enes, the project manager was very nice to work with. He kept me updated every step of the way and was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend SMC Construction!

The side of our garage was completely destroyed last fall when a stolen car crashed into it, breaking windows and a door. Our entire side was destroyed. I got in touch with a number of construction firms that specialize in home remodeling and structural repairs, but for some reason they I were unable to commit to the job. SMC provided a prompt and professional response. Sinan, who is fantastic, immediately arrived to check out our garage and laid out exactly what would be done. His crew worked on it for most of the winter (literally nothing stopped them from remodeling our garage not even MN's winter), and their estimate was reasonably priced for such a significant hit on our garage! Everything about the team, the service, and the communication was outstanding. I would recommend SMC if you're looking for a business that is trustworthy, skilled, and practical with its prices. They'll handle everything for you!!

There's a reason why SMC Construction is 5 Stars on Google and the reason I picked them. They are very professional, very punctual, communication was great, are good people, always on time, they do high quality work. It was wonderful working with Enes, he always picked up when called or when he couldn't he always called back. He explained the whole process and very informative. He was always answer our question and was very patient when our insurance company was giving us the run around. Great communication, he always text ahead to let what work was being done and confirmed date/time of work. We had water damage to our hardwood floors because the line to our ice maker was leaking. Waiting on the insurance company took forever but the Smc Construction Crew installed the flooring in trim and kitchen back together in about three days. Now our house is beautiful again thanks to SMC construction, I highly recommend them!

Muska lighting has worked on several projects with SMC Construction over the last couple of years, and it has been a wonderful partnership. Karysa and Sabrina have a fantastic eye for design, and it has been a pleasure watching their projects come to life.

We had SMC do kitchen updates including Cambria countertops, sink/garbage disposal, backsplash, building a new cabinet to accomodate a taller refrigerator, and converting to an over the stove microwave. They also installed a new onyx bathroom sink & faucet and replaced some baseboard and floor tiles. Karyssa, the designer, was very helpful in making selections and followup communication with us. Brandon scheduled the subcontractors and we were very pleased with the quality of their work and the timeframe in which the project was completed. We are very happy with the results!

This is the second time I have used SMC. The work that was done on my bathroom remodel was exceptional. The staff was very professional.....from Brandon my project manager, Karysa my designer, the plumbers, the painters, the electricians and the carpet layers....all made sure my project was done in a timely fashion, they made sure the area was cleaned up and were very understanding when changes were made. I would highly recommend SMC!

SMC Construction is very responsive! From the very beginning of our project planning to the actual remodel of our bathrooms up to and including the follow-up with any remaining issues. Often one hears about businesses that leave jobs half finished or never call back after it is done! Not so with SMC as they really want us to be completely satisfied. SMC replaced our roof and we couldn’t be happier! Enes and Fred were very easy to work with and made everything clear and simple. Competitive price with great quality. The crew took care of everything while we happened to be out of town and it was as if they were never there (besides the nice new roof:). Our engagement with SMC started in 2024 with remodeling two bathrooms, and extended into 2025 with the remodel of our
front stoop and kitchen / living space. In 2024 I was looking for a multifunctional contractor to establish a relationship with
over several projects, and SMC bubbled to the top of my search list. Across our projects to date SMC lived up to their cred
by delivering a high quality experience and remodeled space. We love our bathrooms, front stoop, and the remodel of the kitchen / living space - along with some ancillary other upgrades. As others have pointed out, the SMC design team brought new ideas, coloration, and materials into our dreams. At the beginning, it took a bit to understand the online tool SMC uses for client interaction, but once I figured it out the approval process moved along nicely. In all our projects, SMC has utilized a couple of main subcontractors. Both were highly skilled, personable, and performed exquisite work. The kitchen project unfolded with numerous actions while we were not home. All project folks respected our home and the need to keep doors closed as we have indoor only cats who were very interested in being construction cats. Also, all were willing to help us understand why one approach was better than another, which is important in trusting relationships.

We are delighted with our new kitchen in our 1935 St. Paul Como neighborhood home! We contacted SMC and appreciated the clear description of their services and the project process they use to work with customers. Within three days of our initial request for consultation, our designer Sabrina met with us. She listened warmly and carefully to our needs, and within a week, we had an estimated range of the costs for the kitchen remodel (which included filling in a doorway and knocking out a wall). The estimate was reasonable and we're glad to say that the final cost ended up right in the middle of that range! No surprises!
A short time later, Sabrina presented us with three design alternatives, and after discussion, wise advice, and some adjustments, we selected one. She continued to advise us and met with us several times over the course of the project.
Our project manager Brandon was easily accessible and present at all important transition times when subcontractors started. He often popped in at other times as well to check in.
Brandon, Sabrina and all of the subcontractors were fun, personable, and responsive. They were to easy to have around. It was clear to us that all of the subcontractors liked working for SMC!
Our new kitchen/dining room space took exactly nine weeks. It's spacious, light, and wonderful to work in. We are thrilled.
We wholeheartedly recommend SMC and hope to use them again on other projects in the future.

We had our roof and deck replaced along with the gutters, eaves and soffits. We were offered several solutions to resolve a few issues we had with the remodeling; which I really appreciated. The crew was respectful and always on site when promised. I felt that Enes was always available to answer questions and to provide a status on my project.
