We have worked with Sensible Heating and Air Conditioning, on many different occasions, and the experiences were nothing short of exceptional! From start to finish of each visit, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. We have had tune ups and repairs for both our furnace and air conditioning. When our furnace went down during the winter, the issue was quickly diagnosed, and we got our heat back on right away.

Our installer, Elliot, was absolutely fantastic. He was punctual, highly knowledgeable, and incredibly courteous throughout the entire installation. He always takes the time to explain everything in detail, answering all our questions and ensuring we were completely comfortable with the work being done. His workmanship was top-notch, and he clearly takes pride in doing the job right.

Our furnace went out on a Thursday. We called Sensible Friday evening and received a reasonable and affordable estimate within an hour. We were given space heaters that night to use over the weekend. They installed our furnace on Monday and it works wonderfully. I appreciate how communicative and friendly Elliot was. The service was excellent and we will be using them for our AC in the spring!

Elliot is very professional and prompt. He came out and serviced our furnace on short notice when it went out and temps were very cold so having quick service was a must for MN winters. I reached out in the morning and he was here within a few hours! He did a great job and got it working quickly. Very friendly and honest, would highly recommend him!

Came home on a hot Sunday night with a sick wife and no A/C (stressful to say the least). Elliot responded quickly, was honest, professional, and easy to work with. While emergency service isn’t cheap, he was upfront about everything and absolutely earned my trust and future business.

Elliot replaced two of three damper motors for our furnace today. He had to go out to find the motors we needed, and did so very quickly.
Elliot is professional, prompt, great at explaining the issue at hand, and very nice. He’s had years of experience in the field and is obviously very knowledgeable. Also, I felt totally comfortable with him in our home. I can see why his ratings are so high!

Elliot was able to come take a look at my broken A/C within 15 minutes of calling, able to give a quick diagnosis, went over the options and offered competitive pricing for a new A/C installation. He took extra time to look into what A/C would pair with my furnace to be eligible for rebates, even if it led me in the direction of getting A/C from another installer.

I can’t say enough good things about this company and the exceptional service we received! My wife and I had been dealing with a recurring heating issue that just wouldn’t go away. After reaching out to a well-known company in St. Paul, we had our problem "fixed" temporarily, only for it to resurface again. At that point, a friend who works in HVAC recommended this business because they specialize in boilers. My friend specifically mentioned the owner, Elliot, by name and I’m so glad they did!

Elliot was an absolute lifesaver! Not only did he come out to our home within an hour on a cold Monday evening, but he truly went above and beyond. He didn’t just fix the issue; he took the time to walk us through what was going on, showed us how to handle potential future problems, and even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working properly. His prices were lower than what I paid the big company that didn’t even solve the problem in the first place, and what really stood out to me was how kind and patient he was. He never once made us feel like we didn’t know what we were talking about. He even turned up the efficiency on our boiler, and now we’ve already noticed a significant improvement—we’ve been able to turn off our electric heater!

I trust this business completely and will definitely be reaching out for any future heating needs. While I hope we don’t have to call them again anytime soon, I know that we’re in great hands if we ever do. I can’t recommend them enough!

Elliot was open, honest, and patient during the quote process. Once I decided to go with him he was quick about getting the work done. He showed up around 1 and was done by 3:30 or so, and my house is finally getting cool again. Highly recommend!

Just worked with Sensible Heating & Air for the first time—so glad I did.
It was a hot weekend and my AC went out, so I started calling around in a bit of a panic. I got in touch with Elliot, and he couldn’t have been more responsive or helpful. Even with my older unit, he showed up with a can-do attitude and zero sales pressure.
