I recently hired Grey Cloud Outdoors for a landscaping project, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, they were incredibly professional and quick to respond to all my questions. Their quotes were fair, clear, and transparent, with no hidden surprises. The work was completed on time and the results truly exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise — and then goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Grey Cloud Outdoors to anyone looking for quality landscaping services!

Very happy with my experience. Everybody was super communicative, transparent, and easy to work with. The Crew was polite and kept everything tidy. The landscaping will help salve some water issues I was having. And the new patio and rock wall will add to the outdoor memories for my family. Love the boulders selected. They even found the perfect bolder rock with a flat top for family members to sit on and read, and for young ones to perform backyard imaginary concerts:) I would definitely use Grey Cloud Outdoors on another project!

My wife and I hired Grey Cloud to install a 35’ x 15’ Unilock paver patio in our backyard. From the initial onsite consultation to the delivery of the end product, we were incredibly impressed with Tyler and team’s work. Not only did the patio look great, we always felt as if we were being heard with our requests and understood the status of the project. They also took on the extra effort of working with our city to bring forth solutions of impermeable restrictions driven by the Shoreland Overlay District of White Bear Lake. We’d recommend Grey Cloud to anyone looking into services they provide; we’d certainly use them again should a project arise

Grey Cloud Outdoors has done multiple projects for me including several landscaping jobs and new paver sidewalks in St. Paul Park. They are top notch in every aspect of what they do from ideas, planning and execution. I would 100% recommend them!!!

Tyler and his crew did a great job replacing some landscape timbers in a timely manner. Great communication at a reasonable cost

I reached out to Tyler in early spring regarding my backyard project. The amount of time he spent answering questions and getting a design in place was impressive. I never felt rushed during the process. Due to Tyler’s calm and helpful demeanor, I felt comfortable hiring him for the project. Late summer he started on the project. I was really shocked to see him on site working every day with his team, I feel so often the person you work with on estimates and designs is never on site for the actual work. His crew members were all very respectful and worked hard during some very hot days. After each day they cleaned up well before they left. It was very clear that Tyler takes pride in his work. My project turned out very well. I have had several comments on how well the work was done and also how great the overall finished project looks. Since the project has finished, I have reached out to Tyler a couple times with questions and he continues to remain very responsive and helpful.

Great company to work with. They rebuilt our timber wall and straighted out the pavers and also replaced all the cedar boards, railing and staircase on our 31 year old deck. Communication was excellent. Work started shortly after the estimate. All the men working on the project did excellent work and put in long hours. Very impressed with the quality. Would hire Grey Cloud Outdoors again.

They built a privacy wall of trees between a neighbor's property that had cut down all the trees between us. The trees were 6' high and exactly what I wanted. The gave me a proposal immediately and installed the trees in a week. I absolutely love it! They were courteous, prompt and informative. I will be using them again!!!

Very impressed! Wonderful work - my landscaping project was completed just as planned and it looks fabulous. It was so nice to see a small company that takes pride in their work and has such attention to detail. Highly recommend Grey Cloud Outdoors!

Have not used their services but GCO was mindful of the neighbors of the home they were working on. I was surprised to have received a gift card from them in the mailbox for being patient and understanding with them while they did their project. Very thoughtful and a kind gesture. Will definitely keep them in mind for any future outdoor projects.

Tyler, the owner was easy to work with. He had great ideas and recommendations. They did an excellent job! I am extremely happy with the work they completed

Grey Cloud Outdoors did an incredible job on our retaining wall in Cottage Grove! The quality of their work exceeded our expectations, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. They were professional, reliable, and so easy to work with.

Beyond their outstanding craftsmanship, we are truly grateful for the generous support they’ve shown to our community and our organization. Their commitment to giving back and making a positive impact is something we deeply appreciate.

Thank you, Grey Cloud Outdoors, for not only the excellent work but also for your continued partnership and support. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Overall a very positive experience with Grey Cloud. They promptly replied to our initial inquiry, which sometimes is half the battle.
Once we began the process, they arrived on site, talked through what we wanted, and then gave us options. There were several iterations of discussions until we came up with a plan of what we wanted.
When they began the work, the crews arrived on time and worked through the day to ensure things were done on schedule. If any hiccups arose, they were quick to talk to us, address any concerns, and continue on with the project.
The end result turned out really fantastic. I appreciated their artistic eye coming up with designs and features I would not have expected.
If you are considering them, I would recommend it. They are fair and reasonably priced and provide excellent customer service.

My family was sick with the flu and I was worried I needed to take one or more of them into be seen. We had just had 6 inches of snow and Bill and Tyler came and cleared our driveway within an hour of seeing my post asking for help so we could get to the clinic. Thank you both so much!! We appreciate it more than you know!

We recently had Grey Cloud Outdoors put in a fairly small retaining wall. From the on-site needs assessment visit to the final completion of the project, Grey Cloud was outstanding. The work crew was very professional; really did a wonderful job taking out the old retaining wall and installing the new retaining wall. The project was a complete success, the price was extremely competitive and we could not be more satisfied. I sincerely believe that regardless the size of your project, Grey Cloud Outdoors can do it and the results will exceed your expectations. And yes, we most certainly recommend Grey Cloud Outdoors.

I had the team at Grey Cloud do a fire pit/retaining wall project in Eagan for me. They were professional throughout the entire project from the planning to the follow up after completion. I will be reaching out to them next year for my next project!

Tyler and his crew from Grey Cloud did a fantastic job on our backyard update! We had an old retaining wall that was failing and wanted to explore other options while maintaining the structure. Tyler gave form to the idea we had of making a 13’ long set of stairs to make the yard feel more cohesive. The team worked hard for two straight days, tearing out the old wall and some cracked concrete then meticulously installing the stairs and pouring new concrete. They were able to move an existing handrail to save us some money. We ran into a concern over the neighbor’s retaining wall being affected by our construction, and Tyler suggested some river rock down the fenceline to fill the gap visually. It turned out exceptionally well! We’re so happy with our new welcoming backyard and highly recommend Grey Cloud for outdoor projects.

Grey Cloud Outdoors did a fantastic job with my landscaping. Tyler made my random ideas into a wonderful project including a plant box, stepping stones, large boulders and beautiful plants. Highly recommend.

Company helped out the community with picking up Christmas trees for free and bringing them to a local farm for their animals.
Excellent and quick communication. They even dropped off a little thank you bag with coupons, contact info, pens, etc. I don't have an immediate need for patio or retaining wall service, but will definitely recommend them and contact them myself if we need those services in the future.
