We had a major event at our home requiring us to move out for nine months. Paul Davis handled the emergency work at our home the day of the event, the move out, the storage of our property, the demolition work, the planning, designing, bidding and negotiation process with our insurance company and ultimately the renovation and reconstruction work and then the move back into our home. The Paul Davis team was well qualified for all phases of the work and was willing to go the extra mile to handle all phases of a complex project such as ours from inception to is completion. We are pleased to recommend Paul Davis based on our experience.

At every step the people who helped us were professional, responsive and friendly. From the guy who first answered our panicked phone call after a water leak to the first man on site to the woman who helped us with insurance red tape to the project manager, the staff were courteous, compassionate, and super competent—they went above the call of duty to make sure we were taken care of. I recommend any owner stay personally on top of their job as little things can go wrong and one has to self advocate, but that said, the staff— Dominic, Shlomo, Mike M, Sarah M and more—were super helpful proactive partners who made a very hard time in our lives go smoothly.

Kyle Schmitz did a great job with communication and assisting me with a drywall repair job. His crew was efficient and clean with their work, and transformed the look of my room. Highly recommend

Amazing team to work with. Everyone had their own seperate assignments to make the whole process go smoothly. They were very communicative, kind and professional. Honestly they took a huge weight off my shoulders when our basement was ruined from a broken pipe. They handled most everything, even communicating with my insurance and advocating for me. Im so grateful to this company.

Dominic Orme continues to do a fantastic job of keeping up with communication and coordinating jobs left and right. He is very knowledgeable and is not afraid to ask questions or dig into an issue. He is wonderful to work with!

From the start, kind and polite customer service, service was prompt when I really needed it! Everyone was awesome, respectful and easy to talk to especially project manager Moshe and Tom in Mitigation! They both were so down to earth, personable and knowledgeable!! I would say integrity, professionalism and quality work!! Big strengths!

The quality of the work you did was excellent. Everyone I came in contact with from Paul Davis was professional, polite and friendly. Krystal has been spectacular to deal with. Although we hope to never need your services again, I would not hesitate to call you if necessary. Our thanks to the entire team

We had an upstairs toilet overflow and damage the ceiling and wood floor on the main level of our home. Our insurance company recommended using Paul Davis and they made the experience so much easier! They took care of mitigation, and lined up and oversaw all the work that needed to be done to restore our ceiling and floor.

We were not happy when we found some mold from a slow shower head leak in our master bedroom and into my sons basement below us. I didn’t know who to call as I’ve never had this issue and was kind of embarrassed. Thank goodness I reached out to my LinkedIn Connection Jacklyn Christian and asked if Paul Davis would be able to assist in this issue. She was quick to get me in contact with Jake Johnson and he helped me quickly by coming and inspecting our situation and giving us a reasonably priced quote. He was available via email and text and communicated very well throughout the process. Reid Larson and Vincent Thompson were the techs that came and did the demo, cleaning and clean up. They were both very professional and treated our home like their own. They completed things in a timely manner and everything looks good to go for us to seal it all back up. I would recommend Paul Davis of Greater St. Paul and Minneapolis for any small or large mold remediation project. Their team was quick to action. Being I had never been in this situation I called another Company too and they never called back so I’m glad I made the right choice! Thank you Paul Davis!

The quality of the work completed was excellent, real top notch work. However, communication was poor, I had to reach out to Paul Davis for most updates. There were also two separate week+ delays where the only explanation was that they were very busy. I understand people being busy, but it really came across as my house having little importance to Paul Davis.

After my house fire, I contacted Rob Zappa and his team from Paul Davis. Rob showed up to the house within hours of the fire. Not only did he patiently and thoroughly explain the process, he also found a hotel, arranged food, and helped with other necessary details that day. I don't know how I would have managed without his help! In the days that followed, he was excellent about regular and responsive communication. He made the introductions and transitions to different team members seamless and easy. Each and every employee from this company has shown the same dedication and quality work. In a time of crisis for my family, they showed up and took care of not only our house but US. I cannot recommend Rob and this company highly enough.

Paul Davis is an incredible company and has been a pleasure to work with. Everyone that I have worked with has been extremely professional and courteous of my time. Their attention to detail is something that isn't found with a lot of other restoration companies.

I have had two incidents of water damage caused by issues in the unit above mine and Paul Davis has done the repairs for both of these. For the most recent repair, there were steps that had to be taken before the scheduling was finalized. The Paul Davis employee named Matt who did the final patch and painting did a wonderful job and I am very happy with the repair job.

The team at Paul Davis has been nothing but kind, supportive, and extremely on top of things. I’m a property manager and had a huge flood in our building back in August of 2023. Due to the circumstances, we were still getting the last unit affected finalized which was scheduled to be completed end of this week. We unfortunately had a fire in a unit tonight that caused the sprinklers to go off. I didn’t have the main number to call on hand as I was driving to my building. I called Login, one of the contacts I’ve been working with for months now and informed him of the situation and asked for the number to call. He was with his manager, Jessie, at the time. Both of them were absolutely on top of it. Login got me the number to call immediately and sent it over. Jessie even left what he was doing at the time to come to the building and assist, completely after hours. They helped ensure that it was being taken care of and get the call in. Paul Davis had an entire team there even before all the fire fighters left. I cannot thank them enough for being so on top of everything. Everyone is always kind, makes sure we are informed, and make sure the job is done and done to your satisfaction, and allows for a peace of mind about the situation. Any time I have ever felt I was being “picky”, Login and Jessie have always reassured me that I am not and made sure to get any request done. If you’re a company looking for a Restoration team, just choose them. You won’t regret it.

We were waiting for our check from our insurance company to come in..... We had a couple of beginning steps done to start to repair our ice damn damage already by Paul Davis. However, Paul Davis was calling and requiring we pay them in full in order to continue the work. We have had a good amount of claims over the period of our almost 35 years of marriage. But, we've never had such a requirement. They really wanted for us to pay them up front before the job was complete? Which we thought was utterly ridiculous! We could see a small percentage maybe but the full amount. So they settled for a portion of the bill. Keep in mind our bill was more than $11,000. I believe more like $15,000 something. So it was quite a few thousand we had to pay them. We were constantly harassed by a very rude lady in the office, named Sara, to pay the remainder of the bill. We ended up writing them a letter because we were tired of the harrassment, with a check enclosed for the remainder of the bill except the last $1,500. We told them that the last $1,500 would be paid when the work was finished. We got down to having paint overspray cleaned off of three rooms they painted in. We got another call from Sara stating we were going to be turned into collections if we did not pay the $1,500 by a specific date. She stated that we were so many days delinquent. How were we any days delinquent when they didn't even finish the job? She said that Zach (the man taking care of all of the details and work that needed to be done) had been trying to get a hold of me for a while to get the overspray cleaned up. I had zero voicemails from Zach. Zach and I had mainly communicated via text message and I had zero text messages about this matter either. I messaged Zach to ask about this and he said he had called but not left a message. I never saw any calls from him. Howas I supposed to know he called if he didn't leave a message. Not to mention I had been in and out of the hospital multiple times during all of this. Not to mention it had taken them a whole year to do this job and they weren't even done yet. He replied to my text saying they would clean up the overspray if we paid the last $1,500. I asked how much it would cost to clean up all of the overspray? Zach said they might be able to do it probono if we paid the last $1,500. I was so appalled that I called and paid the remainder of the bill. I told them never mind cleaning up the overspray and that we would pay someone else to do it. Even though I told them to forget about the rest of the job you would think they would have still followed up with us. To atleast try and finish the job they had started. The job that they had now been paid in full and didnt complete. That is if they were a company with any values at all. If they truly cared about their customers. Zach had told me that they had a lot of people not pay their bills and that is why Sara was acting like this. He stated that other people had the same complaints about Sara being rude to them. This lady has no business working in a customer service position talking to customers like this! I've worked for a collection agency before and we didnt even talk to our customers like that! I think she thought she was working for a collections agency! Sara had emailed us before about some of the job details. When I had told Zach that he said he didn't know why she was doing that. He said that wasnt even part of her job. We will say the actual work that was done by Paul Davis was great. But the things they contracted someone else to do was awful! Hence the paint overspray being all over everything in three of our rooms. There was a huge lack of communication between Paul Davis and the company(s) they contracted with. I would message Zach asking when they were coming next and finish something. Zach would reply with, I thought they did that already? We would have never used this company if we would have been told from the beginning that we had to pay upfront. We will never use this company again. Nor would we recommend them to anyone!

We're so grateful for the excellent service we've received from Paul Davis following a significant water intrusion in our basement. They dealt directly with our insurance company to assist with full coverage, and provide comprehensive, quick, and correct work throughout the project. Definitely would recommend!!

I called this company yesterday & spoke to Cole Ulrich regarding a mold problem under my kitchen sink. He was able to come the next day to check on the problem. He was very personable & explained what he would be doing to determine if mold was present. He explained what steps would be necessary to determine the extent of mold spread & how it would be treated. Cole was very knowledgeable & clearly explained the process. I was very impressed by the information Cole provided.
I did check with the company's reviews on Google and the BBB & Consumers Report. Before contacting the company, they were rated A+ & had great reviews.

We had a flooding issue in our basement caused by the company who installed our new furnace and AC unit. Paul Davis was great in the emergency situation, cleaning and drying everything out. Fast forward, it took them 7 months to finish restoring the basement, mind you, it was a 15x10 foot space. Went months without them returning calls, etc. As you can imagine, no apologies, no acknowledgment of their mistakes. If you have a choice, I would certainly look elsewhere.

The people working in my home were professional and effective — different people scheduled to work each phase of the mitigation. Available/responsive for the immediate response to water backup. Quality mitigation work but very expensive.

The project management office did not communicate with me about next steps or daily schedules. It took 4 months for someone to return my call about repairing damage. By then I had hired someone else with more affordable rates. I get being busy, but I’m irked because they charged me hundreds of dollars for scans they took that they “needed” to do the repairs that they never did.

I had a slow leak from my refrigerator that ruined my entire floor (even soaked into the insulation up the walls) and the guys from Paul Davis were great all the way through mitigation and eventually repairs. They were friendly, thorough and informative and I always felt like they had my back. I'm very happy with the results now that everything is back to normal!
