They did a great job with a very fair price.The owner came out the same day I called for an estimate. They had the best price out of three quotes. Very reliable and came out on time. Finished without tearing up my lawn and cleaned everything up. Every pleased . Real pros!

We have had 1-2 Tree out twice now and we highly recommend. A couple of our trees were quite large and pretty close to the house. They carefully removed limbs likely to hit the house and quickly took down the rest. All debris (plus some!) was removed. Really great crew that knows what they are doing. Another plus is that Todd is an arborist so he can tell you the health of your trees and tell you what needs to come down and which ones you need to watch. No upselling and very reasonable fees.

Todd and his crew did a fantastic job at my property while removing two stems of a tree that were approximately 80ft tall. They had all necessary protection equipment and all tools required to perform the work safely and precisely. Todd had a briefing with the team to discuss the removal approach before they began working and the whole operation ran smoothly. At the end they were very thoughtful and cleaned all the areas affected by the operation. Great price and professional service. Had part of a birch come down against the house in big storm about a month ago. I got that cut up and off the house to assess damage. Remaining tree was forked all one way. Wasn't going to fall this year, but seemed too heavy to me on one side. Just wanted the tree taken down safely and too big and heading towards power lines for me to even attempt. They took the tree down quickly and efficiently. Also took all the leftover small branches, leaves, and chainsaw woodchips in the driveway from me clearing the limb off the house so I didn't have to clean them up.
When I got home on the day the tree got cut down, so glad I got it taken out. The middle of the stump was all punky (I'm sure it is totally a technical term). (see photo of stump) So the tree was definitely compromised structurally and likely to fall sooner rather than later.

I can't say enough good things about 1-2 Tree. This is the second time I've used them to trim some very large trees. Todd is very easy to work with. His pricing is great and his work is great. It's good to support a local small business. I'd definitely recommend that you do.

The process for giving us a quote was smooth - he asked the right questions, gave us options and his opinion and really made it easy for us to make an informed decision. He gave us a detailed quote and let us know when his schedule would allow him to do the work. The entire team did a great job of doing what they promised and taking great care of our property. I was really impressed with the condition of our yard after they left - they did a thorough job of cleanup. Pricing was clearly communicated and really fair. We would absolutely recommend the 1-2 Tree team and will use them again in the future.

My neighbor had a large ash tree removed. I asked if they would recommend The company and they highly recommended.
So I got the phone number and called Todd. He showed up exactly at the time that he said he would. We discussed what I wanted done, I received an estimate and we set up a time to do the work. They showed up again exactly when they said they would.
I had 4 trees removed. 2 were very large and close to the house. And one also had to work around a fence.
The work was done very professionally, they worked fast. Cleaned up everything, even raked the snow and brush cleaned the driveway. I already have future work set up to be done.

We needed 3 trees trimmed in our front yard. One tree branch going over in to neighbors yard and the other two were hanging low just 4 feet of the side walk.
Todd and his crew are simply the best in business. Todd visited me twice. Once during estimation and once before the job started. He is very friendly and made sure that what we saw after the job was completed is the same what we discussed before the job started. He made sure if we were happy with the result. Todd is very knowledgeable and advised us pros and cons of trimming too much or too little. We are also very happy with his crew who kept us advised during the process. Todd and his team arrived at work site on time, finished the job, cleaned our yard after completion of the work safely and were gone in flat 2 hours. M&S came out and removed a tree from our yard. They did such a professional job yet were so one on one interaction caring about my husband's and my want s and needs. Thanks for an amazing and affordable service.

M & S gave me bid in late August to remove a large tree from my backyard. The price was great so I was happy to accept. Initially Matt indicated that he'd get the tree down within a month or two. But time passed and M & S never showed up. After waiting and trying unsuccessfully to reach Matt by phone a few times, I was able to speak with Matt in December and he said he'd probably be able to get it down in the first two weeks of January. When that didn't happen, I called again and he said he'd try to get it on his schedule for the third or fourth weeks in January. Once again, the time came and went and I didn't hear from him. I sent an email, but didn't hear back. Finally, today I was able to reach Matt on the phone and he explained that he's having some problems with his equipment. I suggested that perhaps I should find another company and we agreed to take the job off his docket. Throughout Matt was always polite when I talked to him, and he gave me a referral to an alternative company, but...it's been 5 months and now I'm back to square one on this project.

I've used M&S for 12 years for small, medium & large jobs. I've been very satisfied every time. Matt is knowledgeable & professional, and leaves the jobsite in such pristine condition that I can't tell he's been there. My most recent project was very delicate, as it involved a very large tree that hung over our septic drainfield. They did impeccable work! I would highly recommend Matt & M&S to anyone looking for help with tree trimming, tree removal, or tricky limb removal. Great company!

Extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism. I signed a quote to have a tree removed and tried to get the work scheduled. The owner ignored my calls and texts. Once every three tries, he’d respond. After a month of this, I gave up. I would recommend to them if they aren’t planning on doing a job they committed to, they should communicate that instead of ignoring customers.

I received three quotes to remove three trees plus stumps and three additional stumps. M &S was my first quote Matt was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable in this area. I had a lot of questions during the whole process. He and his team did an excellent job and the cost was very reasonable. I would Definitely recommend and have already done so to other family and friends. I will use this company in the future.

The work M & S provided to remove a tree at my home in Woodbury was exceptional!!! They were so professional, yet friendly. Knowledgeable. Trustworthy. Expedient. Matt and m&s tree service are a fantastic tree cutting/trimming company from day one Matt has never disappointed always showing up on time always working hard and always leaving the job site clean Matt always answers the phone when I call easily explains the jobs and time lines necessary . I have had Matt and M&S tree service do complete tree removal and stump grinding complete tree removal with cranes forestry mulching land clearing also trimming of basic trees. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone that needs tree service done at a fair price!
