Mike and his team from A Cut Above did a great job taking down our 2 dead Ash trees. They were easy to communicate with, reasonably priced, very skilled, and cleaned up our yard well after they were done. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Thank you to A Cut Above Tree Service for all your help in removing the tree from our house that came down in a recent storm. They were fast to respond, reasonably priced, and overall a great group of people to work with. I especially love the care they took to remove the tree without creating more damage to our house and their meticulous cleanup. They were awesome!

I can't thank Mike & his staff enough with "A Cut Above Tree Service" for taking care of my Maple trees. They fell my large Maple in my front yard with precision, missing address signage, then they chipped everything with expertise and cleaned and cleared the debris. Then Mike took an additional look around my property and suggested, "you know, while I'm here we should clean up the the baby Maple in the back. It will be better for the health of the tree, stop the binding of the limbs, keep those branches from hitting your house, and your lawn will appreciate the sun coming through to help your grass grow". So, not only did he do a great job trimming and cleaning up my tree. They dropped branches missing my fencing and smokers, etc. "A Cut Above Tree Service" is Top Notch!

We have used A Cut Above's services at two of our properties now and have had nothing short of fantastic care each time. Mike and his team do an excellent job with transparent fair pricing, coordinating with utility providers on encroaching trees, communicating job dates/times, and providing spotless cleanup post-labor. Everyone involved from our first phone call to day of service has been professional and kind. Our family will have a need for tree trimming services in the future and won't hesitate to call A Cut Above!

We unfortunately needed to remove a large River birch tree that was causing damage to our yard and home. After getting several bids it was clear that A Cut Above was the best option for pricing as well as expertise and efficiency. Their bid was straightforward and no extra fees were tagged on when all said and done. It was a delight to work with them.

Just had a large river birch taken down (approx. 100 years old) It was in a fenced in back yard. They also took care of the stump which was 6ft across - I have free mulch if anyone needs. Mike and his crew did a great job. We would recommend and use them again

They did the job but were not customer focused. they destroyed our yard, left stumps that were impossible to cut and overall i did not feel that they had our best interests in mind. I believe they should have recommended waiting more days without rain to remove the tree, and while we did want wood leftover, they should have only left smaller logs. I was really disappointed with the quality of service and after speaking with other tree removal companies they would have handled much differently. do not use this service!

Update got my tree cut down 900 dollars cheaper than mikes special deal quote. I would never use this company . The owner mike pounded on my door three separate times at 7:45 am after we didn’t answer our doorbell, He rang it three times before pounding on the door. So, I raced to the door thinking it was an emergency. He was soliciting his tree service and asked if I wanted a tree in the front yard cut down. I told him I'm not interested. He kept trying to sell me on getting my tree cut down saying he is all set up and can give me a good deal. I said again I am not interested. Then I asked if that was necessary to knock so hard on my front door and that I was sleeping because I work until 4 am and he just woke up our baby. He just said OK. The guy showed no remorse and started arguing that he didn’t knock that hard and told me to check my ring doorbell. Not one apology. A few minutes later I noticed they were standing around in my yard smoking cigarettes, so I asked the owner to please get off my property which the owner tried to argue more than I just walked away. Later found cig butts in my yard. They were working on the house across the street and because he was rude, I told him he has no need to be in my yard. They continued to leave their chainsaws and tools in my yard, but I left it alone. Update the owner came back 3 hours later after my father came over to say hi to our kids and take them to the library. The rude owner Mike started getting in an argument with my dad who knew nothing about what happened earlier. Then I came out of the house to tell my dad don't waste your time with this guy he is rude. The rude owner walked up my driveway and approached me to start another argument he got really close. He said a half apology saying sorry but how was he supposed to know you and your baby were sleeping. I told him I do not care you were crazy rude before. Then I asked him to leave me alone and get off my property which we were half way up my driveway . Three times I said get off my property and He refused to leave and kept trying to argue with me and stepping towards me. My dad came over yelling telling him to just listen and leave me alone.Only once he noticed my dad pulled out his phone and was recording him, He left my driveway and started recording me. After that my dad started telling his coworkers to get the tools off my lawn. One guy apologized for the owner's behavior and stated, "that guy is a jerk, but he isn't". Then I said to that coworker I appreciate it but that the owner would just not leave me alone and has been rude. The coworker began screaming and cursing at the owner. That guy was respectable, meanwhile The owner Mike ran off to sit in his truck and video tape us.Now the owner is making up his excuse under this review don’t believe him.My father and I did not once threaten him we only asked him to get off my property and leave me alone which again he refused.WE called the police because after all that the owner was kept waving at us as he was working trying to provoke me and I didn't want him to come back on to my property at this point I was worried about the safety of my kids and wife.The police said he will tell him he will not go back on my property or else he will be arrested. The Police also said I just have to send in my ring footage to get him to work on getting him cited or else it is just hearsay. I wouldn’t have had any problem if he would have just left me alone when I said get off my property the first time, but he kept coming back so unprofessional.I have never once spoken to those neighbors. This guy is just a liar . We have clear video of me asking him 3 times to get off my property and him refusing and not leaving my driveway. That’s definitely something someone does when he is just trying to apologize and deescalate the situation. Mike is now calling my review harassment what a joke. He has rewritten his statement under my review so many times I’ve lost count, Changing his story over and over. I would believe all his bad reviews, he has an excuse under everyone of them.
