Poured a beautiful foundation for my neighbor’s new garage, but what I appreciate most is that they readily and courteously moved their truck so I could get out of my driveway. I know whom I’ll be calling when I get around to rebuilding my garage.

Currently blocking my driveway for a neighbor's build. No warning from them or neighbor. At least 6 properties affected as they are blocking our parking spaces/garages.

Asked if they would allow my husband access to our parking with a 30 minute warning and was told yes, but then didn't.

Above was my original comment, 2 days later, their concrete company snapped my cable/internet line. When I complained, I was told it was my fault. Since I work from home, they are costing me a lot of money. Not a single word from them at this time. If you like your neighbors, don't hire this company.

Mike and Wayne Construction recently installed a 2 car garage pad and driveway for me this Summer. They also prepared the site. The cement looks great. No issues in the 2 courses of blocks either. They modified plans to avoid a tree. Friendly and Fast. So far so good! I'll update to 5 stars once everything cures without trouble. Thanks Mike.

I hired Mike Knajdek of Wayne Construction in July 2017 to replace my front steps and a small section of the adjacent sidewalk. Unfortunately, he delayed the job until mid November. They poured the concrete in below freezing weather, and allowed it to dry under tarps that were touching the surface of the wet cement. The results are white stripes and blotches on the surface of the finished concrete. For six months, all inquiries to the owner Mike Knajdek, were answered by his wife Bonnie, who had never been to the job site and never even seen the questionable work in person. Now, six months later, after receiving my complaint from the BBB, Mr. Knajdek finally did return to look at the steps. But he admits no fault, he claims the cause of the streaks and blotches is simply "Minnesota weather". Three other contractors I have spoken to disagree. I am told that the cause of the damage was the fact that Mr. Knajdek allowed tarps to lie directly on the surface of the cement in below freezing weather. I am told this could have been prevented by simply propping the tarps up a few inches. Mr. Knajdek and I have failed to settle the dispute through the BBB. And Mr. Knajdek refuses to offer even a partial refund. I am told that the white streaks and blotches may fade over time but will likely never completely go away.

Wayne Construction completed dirt work in preparation for my pole shed. They completed it in a timely matter with good communication and friendly service. I would recommend Wayne Construction for all of your construction needs!

My neighbors hired a garage builder who subcontracted their work to Wayne Concrete, and I've never encountered such a rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional company before. They blocked the alley for hours on end and prevented my car from leaving my garage. They trespassed on my property (even after being warned not to), they left dirty equipment all over the neighbors property, and worst of all they left concrete stains over all three of the neighboring properties (mine included). I have a blacktop driveway, so grey concrete stains won't just wash off. They also had the concrete delivery truck drive over my property, and crushed my flowers in the process (which then turned brown and died). I confronted the supervisor on site about this, and he was dismissive and refused to take responsibility for it. To add to it, Wayne returned the next day and sprayed some kind of petroleum-based product on the concrete, which made the whole neighborhood smell of gasoline or similar. I recommend you keep this company as far away from your property (and your neighborhood) as possible.

We had a new garage built and Wayne Construction was the subcontractor who pour our cement slab for our garage. We then hired Wayne Construction to remove the slab where our old garage was and put in a new apron and turn around area. We also had them remove our very old cracked driveway and pour a new driveway. The work is excellent. They made sure it drained slightly away from the house. They used expansion bars instead of just cutting the concrete. They were very easy and helpful to work with and answered our questions. We had two contractors come over to give us a quote on other work for our home and they both commented on what a nice job our concrete work was. I highly recommend Wayne Construction.

As a new homeowner, the prospect of large construction projects can be nerve wracking. The team at Wayne Construction was amazing. They worked perfectly in a relatively small space, and they chance I had to watch the progress was amazing.

The communication from the team on site was fantastic as well, from just checking in to follow up care.

Mike and the crew at Wayne Construction did an excellent job with the concrete for our new garage. They made quick work of a 22x22 garage and a new driveway. They did a great job from start to finish, leaving the site cleaner than they found it. I have no reservations recommending them for any of your concrete work.

My husband is a retired cement finisher and said Mikes crew worked together seamlessly! They hustled all day long tearing out an old concrete driveway on a hill. 3 days of pouring completed the job. They also corrected a drainage problem coming from a flower garden.Recent rainstorms confirmed the drainage problem corrected.Very happy with results.

In 2007, Wayne Construction did the foundation and cement work for a garage addition. The work was excellent; the crews were great, work completed as initially scheduled and invoice price the same as the initial estimate. In 2019, I had a master suite addition with a full basement built. Once again, I called on Wayne construction for the foundation and again, great work. They later followed up with a new three wide concrete driveway with L shape and sidewalks. I’ve enjoyed working with Mike and his crews. I’m an engineer and a perfectionist. My brother had them do the foundation, concrete work for his garage addition. They poured a concrete pad for my daughter’s hot tub in 2021. Only excellent work at very competitive prices. I normally get several quotes before I proceed with a project. Highly recommend Wayne Construction…. 10 out of 10.
