Very dissatisfied with this company. We had a tree fall on our house in March, the adjuster we had recommended this company so we were expecting a great experience from them. Jake was the one assigned to our case and he was sent out to view the damage and to get a plan started to reconstruct our roof/closet that was torn to pieces. I texted and called with each time an answer of “we are trying to get people together and/or depending on the weather,” always an excuse for a month and a half. I guess they didn’t want the money or a good review. So I took matters in my own hand and got another contractor. I recommend Fulton Roofing if you are located near Philadelphia, MS. He’s went above and beyond even during some rainy days. Don’t use Rankin County Customs if you want the job done.

We had major roof damage. Entire roof was replaced/repaired in a day and a half, plus did other repairs that were needed. They went over and beyond what I expected. I could not be happier with the results. Thank you so much!

Worked with James Stuart who was great in communicating the process to repair a storm damaged roof and the timing to get it all done. He kept me in the know and sent detailed photos of initial damage and its repair throughout the process. So far everything has run smoothly and quickly.

This contractor has been reported to the Board of Contractors for gross negligence and poor workmanship. A rooftop inspection indicates they reused the old flashing because it is rusted and our roof is less than a year old. The rusted out water heater vent was removed, painted and reused on our roof. Our roof is leaking in several different places. There is a flat spot they left on the roof and it is not directing the water into the gutter properly. We are having terrible erosion problems because of this company. We have been in this house 20 years and never had this problem. Do NOT let them fool you with their drone. They only show what they want - not the real roof problems. Everything looks great with new shingles ... and everything under the shingles is screwed up.

Rankin County Custom lied about the pitch of my roof and I hired an engineer to 'prove' to a roofer the pitch. They installed the first roof for the wrong pitch with the incorrect materials. The owner (Warren Watts) came and pleaded with me to let him 'fix' the mistakes and do it over. I allowed Rankin County Custom to redo my roof and it is still not installed correctly. The underlayment is wrong and it continues from there. They cut the drip edge in half and stuffed behind the gutters. It is suppose to be over the gutter. They nailed the drip edge visible from the outside and it is not properly installed. The company quoted and promised to 'fix all damage' from the storm including the gutters, a shutter and the back fence. 3 people heard their promises and none of it is fixed.

Nothing will solve the problem but a completely new roof. I've had 2 roofers on the roof since RCC's install and they only way to see what is wrong and fix it is to take the entire roof off and start over.

12-10-23 I discovered the heater vent was off the top of the heating unit. An extremely dangerous situation. The 'roofer' is suppose to check for those things and I am wondering how many people have been killed or injured because of this company. Please check your heater vent if Rankin County Custom has been at your house. The repair cost $300 from a local plumber who had to fabricate a part to make the heater vent fit correctly.

I am over 65 and have had many roofs installed in the span of my life. This company caused more interior damage than any roof I've ever had installed. It will cost as much as another roof to fix the interior damage.

Please do not use this company. The photos attached are the 'first installation' where everything looks great and new. The 'second' installation photos show the actual color of the wood and everything does NOT look new. I believe the photos are altered but I'm not a computer expert, just an old lady that can tell the difference in color of wood. It is very strange. Wood rot was intentionally covered.

And to top it all off - They did NOT pull a permit from the city. That is required by law. They will respond and call me a liar. Hey, RCC, I will take a polygraph ... will you? I will be happy to pay for you to take one. Maybe the Board of Contractors will require one. I've asked for a refund and been ignored. I will see you at the Board of Contractors hearing.

Warren and the crew at Rankin County Custom worked hard for me with my insurance carrier to see to it that my roof was covered completely under my policy. They have also checked back with me when I’ve had minor issues and made sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend them for your roofing and construction needs. They also painted the outside of my two-story house and tore down a stucco courtyard wall giving my house an undated, modern new look. I have been 100% pleased!

Our roof had to be replaced due to hail storm. They did a fantastic job. It was a big job and they had in done in no time. Very professional. Would definitely use them again!
