If I could give a 0 review I would. Here are the text….i was asked to sen pics of my Mothers generator so he could see if he had the kit to service it on Dec 2024 and I sent that day. The next time I heard for him was Dec 29th after I sent him a text on the 27th that said: Good morning were you able to contact my Mother about servicing her generator? on the 29th I got this: Hey sorry I forgot to touch base before I went to deer camp. I do not have a tune up kit in. Is she without power now? I said no and he said oh thank Goodness. I asked: Please reach out to her she has you in her phone. Once work is done please bill me. He responded: Sure will tomorrow. Chasing emergencies after the storm. On Jan 8th I text him and asked: Have you gotten to my mother yet? He responded: Glad you text me. Apparently I erased, by mistake, our thread. I’m bad about putting the phone in my pocket unlocked. It rings non stop while I’m trying to work with dirty hands. I have the tune up kit in now. Can you please resend her info? Will get over there before the rain starts tomorrow night. I responded with her contact information for the second time. And asked him: Please get with her in the am because she has plans with her church group for lunch. He responded: It will be later in the day. I have to make repairs at the water treatment plant. I’d say it will be after 5. The next day he text me: Will that work out do I need to come tomorrow when the rain stops? I responded: You would have to reach out to her. He responded: I called this morning. It went straight to voice mail. I can’t call right now. I responded: She was in church. On January 10th I text him: Thanks for the effort but I’m looking for someone else. In which he responded: It will be Sunday before I can get there. She does not even need to be there. I’m happy to call and touch base now. I said: Call now if you can. Let her know to leave the gate unlock. On January 12th I got this Text: Mom has an oil leak in generator. Rescheduled to first thing in morning. I’ll be in Madison later today and can get her a new hose clamp to stop it. Rescheduled to keep you from passing for the trip to go get the part. There is an auto zone right around the corner from here but I cleaned them out of the small side house camps yesterday. Paying not passing. Her not here. Sorry forgot to turn spell check back off on my phone. Size hose clamps. I replied: That’s fine thanks and can you please test the Battery tomorrow before you change it. He replied: The batteries typically go out between the second and third year. There is no way for me to tell how much more life there is in it. I can only tell that voltage is good at that time. With a generator battery it is being used and charged 24/7. This is different than a car battery that’s really only being used while the vehicle is running. The generator is already damaged from a battery bursting and leaking the acid out. Having said that I’ll do anything you want. Today January 16th I get a text from him that says: I am not going to be able to make it back to moms today. At this point you probably do need to get someone else. I’m not sure when I could get back over there. Tell who ever that she needs the hose clamp replaced on the oil fill hose. ( small hose clamp ). Thanks and I apologize for the inconvenience. I replied: Wow really you leave oil in the bottom of the generator and my mom High and dry. Thanks I’ll be sure to leave a review. He replied: I did not put oil in the bottom of your mom’s generator. To be honest after dealing with you and talking to her I’m not interested in doing work for you. I replied: I did not accuse you of putting the oil there. You were the one not living up to your word so we feel the same! then I blocked him. These are actual Text that I can prove. This guy does not care about anyone but himself. I would not let him change a lightbulb. Be cautious find someone else!
