Memphis Air Care is a great company.The lady receptionist who answer the phone and the owner of the company were very professional from being of the work needed to the ending.The technician name was Shadie he was courtesy and was outstanding service with good quality workmanship.l ask Shadie do Shane still work there and he said yes Shane is supervisor.I told him Shane install my unit in 2016& its is still running great and Shane was very professional and a great manager of the team...I give Memphis Air Care the best rating given for any one who needs technical work for there home or business

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. The technician had to call his boss to walk him through turning my unit off. He acted as though he had never worked on an air conditioning unit before. This was not a difficult case, the unit was frozen and simply needed to thaw and be recharged. Also, scheduling was a NIGHTMARE. They left myself and my 4 babies with no air for 5 days rather than come back in the evening to charge the Freon. We ended up calling another company to finish the job they started. The schedulers were incredibly rude and unnecessarily hateful. I was so disappointed.

I was very impressed with Shadie’s attention to detail, courtesy and professionalism. He quickly identified the problems with my ac units and gave me other information and tips to reduce my heating and cooling costs.

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve asked to speak with management on 3 separate occasions. Each time I was told he “just left” and was told they would give him the message and have him call me back. I have yet to hear from him. I have been dealing with an issue caused by this company since May 5th. It is now August 10th and the issue still hasn’t been resolved. The last installer that came back was extremely smug and condescending. I would still love to be contacted by this company to try and resolve this issue. Their company motto is “Service in hours, not days.” That could not be further from the truth in my experience.

Memphis Air Care (MAC) did work done under a home warranty service in Fall 2017. Code was not followed and left my unit exposed to possible damage. MAC was called to my unit when it stopped working 2.5 years later (part under warranty) MAC did a service call and said the compressor was bad. They left me alone with no contact over a hot weekend with a newborn. They called back on Monday and said the part was under warranty and wanted $700+ in labor. Luckly a friend had came out over the weekend and looked at it, reparied it (no replacement parts) and the unit works fine. MAC didn't install a cut off, ground the unit, or update the breaker for the new unit. All of this is against Shelby Count building code. They were informed a few weeks ago and have gone silent with no return phone calls or communication. Stay far away from this company.

If I could rate at a zero I would. Giving one star is generous!!!! They are hard to get in contact with, the lady who answers the phone has ZERO customer service skills and comes off as being bothered by doing her job. The techs are flat out incompetent, three techs have come and my problem still is not fixed. We had to use them per our warranty company and turns out this was their first time using them and are being removed due to our warranty company having the same issue of getting in contact with them. They knew our problem was not fixed yet cashed the check and never followed up even with countless phone calls and messages left. Hoping other have better luck than we did and we just caught them at a bad time. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Mr shadie the technician did absolutely great and is extremely professional, I would recommend everyone to do business with this company I been dealing with them with maintenance for years and never had an issue they keep my hvac system running with no problems, I kinda wanna break my system so I can call and have the handsome short guy come back 😄

Didn’t have cool air and condenser was frozen up. The service scheduler told me to leave if off so it had time to thaw, which it was by the arrival of the technician. Awesome having the text alerts letting me know ETA. Went by the book on what to check for with problem. Starting with dirty filter, then instead of just saying that was the only issue, then systematically checked everything that could hinder performance. Checked dampers, vents, unit cleanliness and coolant levels. Explained and educated on everything as we went. Very professional and would always knock prior to re-entering house as one example. I’ll be asking for Shadie by name the next time.

They made appointment very soon after I called, contacted me before arrival, Robert, the technician was prompt, courteous, and performed the needed work done very quickly. Very satisfied with this company!
