Recently, my basement flooded with sewer water from a floor drain in the laundry room and had to be cleaned up and the sewer line cleaned out. Roto Rooter cleaned out the sewer line and then recommended replacing a large part of the pipes under my house and out to the street. They wanted $10K to do this project which meant tearing out my sidewalk, my front porch/deck and a large part of the the front yard. I am SO GLAD that I got another opinion from Diamond Plumbing as they showed me the camera from inside of the pipes under my house all the way out to the street. My pipes were clean and not "deteriorated and crumbling" as Roto Rooter had stated. Garet, the technician from Diamond Plumbing recommended doing nothing except to have the pipes cleaned out every few years to make sure that they stay clean of debris and/or roots, which I will definitely do. (Won't use Roto Rooter). Garet was very diligent and showed me the camera while it was in the pipes so I could see for myself, and he took a video for future reference. He was very professional, knowledgeable communicative. I felt that he was genuinely looking out for my best interest and I appreciate this. I am SO grateful that there are locally owned and managed businesses like Diamond Plumbing that are honest and do what is best for the home owner. My wife and I just purchased a home in Jan of 2021 and it had been updated, but still had a cast iron plumbing tree in our basement that needed to be replaced. A few months in and we come to find out the toilets were not secured to the connection pipes properly so we had quite the mess on our hands. We ended up calling for the toilets and John & his team informed us about the bigger problem at hand. We decided to go with replacing the 70 year old cast iron with a new plumbing tree and I was absolutely amazed with how little it turned out to cost. I asked to see the price breakdown of the labor & parts and was quite amazed. John & his team went above and beyond and ended up replacing a faulty valve on our washer connection that they happened to see when they were down in our basement fixing the cast iron. They were timely, communicative, fairly priced and just spectacular all around. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to get quality plumbing work done. Truly a rare company - Thank you Diamond Plumbing!
