Even though we called to confirm the work was scheduled for a refrigerator and also included photos of the refrigerator, the service person was prepared to repair our LG gas range and could not repair our refrigerator.

John seems to be a quality person and technician however your company didn't want to fix our washer because it would cost your company to much money, but that's why we bought the extended warranty. ISSUE REMAINS UNRESOLVED!

Prompt, friendly and helpful. A credit to Sears, finally someone to actually talk with person to person to help with my situation. However, the automated/virtual service is a joke! I will never buy another Sears product or service or recomend it to anyone!

Tech was nice but did not take off back of refrig wall cover to actually look at and vacuum out coils; he only vacuumed out the back of the vent and had to ask if he was going to clean the coils initially since he brought no tools in except a thermometer. I’m pretty sure maintenance check involves a through check of the equipment not a 5 min stay of opening doors for temp and seals. Disappointed with Sears as a whole and the constant canceling of appointments for all appliances. Will not be renewing any service maintenance plans with Sears and I will also warn others not to get Sears Home Services. What a scam to pay all the money upfront and never get prompt or good service when needed. Never heard of waiting 6 weeks for a refrig to be fixed when it’s not working. Any other company can do way better than Sears.

After being scheduled and then not getting service and rescheduled. Scott and Chris responded. Not pleased with scheduling department but both Techs were great. Loved the Techs NOT the scheduling, nor customer friendly.

I lucked out for sure when I got same day service for my riding mower!!! Andy was so nice and did a great job. Being able to have at home service for the mower is fantastic! Will be using again for the tune up he suggested for next year, Thanks!!!

Price to put in new bearings was more than the cost of a new washer. Technician was good and very helpful

5 stars to the technician only for showing up and being professional and nice. It took 4 reschedulings with Sears to get someone to my house to repair my washer. It shouldn’t have taken that long to get it done (2 months). I don’t know if I will buy another warranty with Sears again.

Not a great experience, tech did not even enter my home today. It was decided the unit had wiring issue even though it was tech last week who smoked the wiring and disconnected unit to avoid fire. I do not have heating

This rating is for Sears Home Repair, not for the technician. Chris was fine. Sears Home Repair was impossible to reach and speak to a live person. We had four appointments and parts ordered, but in all, this process took over five weeks to complete, ultimately resulting in our washing machine needing to be replaced.

The website provided for status updates was useless. And the local number to call never offered the option to speak to a live representative. Our repair windows were 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and twice, we were told on the website the technician was on the way, only to receive a follow-up text at 3:55 PM stating that our appointment was being rescheduled. And both times, the reschedule was as much as 10 days out.

Now we are waiting to find out what our home warranty will cover towards a new machine. We will likely be without a washing machine for six weeks.

Technician was great! He was on time, honest, courteous and thorough in his diagnosis. My only issue is how much Sears Appliance Repair charges for repairs. I'm perfect willing to pay a fair price for a technician's time and expertise in the diagnosis and repair of an appliance. The diagnostic fee charged was fair and comparable to others in the area. The problem is, the labor charge for replacing something as simple as a thermal cutout switch was a little ridiculous. To replace this switch, the back has to be removed from the dryer but once removed, it's easily accessible. As a matter of fact, the back had to be removed as part of the diagnosis anyway. The part cost around $35.00.(which was going to have to be ordered) The labor charge to replace it was $299 to remove 1 screw. That was after waiving the $129 diag fee. I'm not paying $335 to repair a dryer that's 9 years old. For another $150 I could buy a new dryer. I'll order the part and install it myself. Again, I'm happy with the Tech and the diagnosis, but I feel that Sear's repair costs are extremely high. Won't use again for this fact. I did leave a 5 star review for the Technician, not for the company.

Technician was great! The communication from Sears AI only as they say needs to be improved.

Our appointment date was moved up a week and the service repairman was excellent.
