I paid roughly in labor $900 an hour, In and out in 2 hours, pleasant people to talk with but to help figure out my leak problem or walk through it with me in person did not happen, 9' crack repair and it leaks above the repair, worse than before, tried to get them to come out and view it in person, but they had me send pictures of the leaks and diagnose that, they did what they said they were going to do, but my problem was I wanted a company to work with me on figuring out a permanent solution. So, I'm moving on to another company.

I can't recommend Stratum Structural Systems highly enough. When I called them out to look at a large void under my front porch and a sunken sidewalk, they easily could have sold me on a costly repair. Instead, they took the time to walk me through the underlying issues in detail, recommended a different approach, and turned down the job altogether. It's rare to find a contractor with this kind of integrity.

53 ft van. Plenty of room to maneuver. They unloaded with a pallet jack and skid steer but all in all I was out of there in 30 minutes and they took me a day early.

The team worked with to help get our basement dry, from the office staff, to the engineers, and the guys doing to work, everyone was great.

Had a crack that was leaking. They came out to repair it. Come to find out, the crack had water holding up behind it still. Instructed me to dry it with fans, wait a few days, and call them back out. As soon as I called, they were here at 720am. on the dot and left at 830. I couldn't be happier with Justin and Preston's work. Quick,clean, and professional.

Tim Meyer and Matt Ford did an exceptional job patching 3 foundation cracks that were leaking water badly into my basement every rain we had. They worked above and beyond there responsibility making sure that when finished I had no more water leaks. Thank you both I’ll be referring these guys for sure in the future too.

I shared a friendly experience with this company. The workers were very professional and considerate of keeping the job site clean as possible. Matt explained the repair process so that I had a clear visual of the finish product. Very trustworthy company and I would recommend them to anyone needing to solve foundation problems.

Stratum did a fantastic job installing piers under our foundation. The estimator, Kevin, did a thorough inspection and analysis of our problem, explaining everything each step of the way. The supervisor, Steve, kept us updated as he was working around the wet weather to get the work scheduled. The installers, JT and CJ, and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job installing the piers , keeping us informed of their progress and answering all questions that we had. They laid down plywood so their equipment didn’t make ruts in the lawn. They finished up by smoothing out the dirt, put down grass seed and straw.
They even washed off shoe prints on the porch before they left. Everyone I dealt with at Stratum, the owner, estimator, supervisor and installer’s are all decent honest people. We strongly recommend Stratum.

Stratum did a phenomenal job with our basement project. The communication was always prompt and clear. The project was completed timely and everything was cleaned up nicely. I would definitely recommend anyone with foundation issues to contact Stratum!

I was very impressed with Stratum from my initial meeting with Keven through the last day of work on my property. I received timely communication, thorough explanation and excellent work from the initial bid, to contacting the office for the final amount due, to the great crew on my property for 4 days. This was not my first or even second round of work on my foundation so was I very wary and looked at several companies. I am hopeful that this will be the fix my home's foundation! And, my basement was cleaner when they left then when they arrived!

Stratum did a fantastic job fixing our foundation crack. They were very up front and professional throughout the entire process, provided flat upfront pricing and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of my options. The guys who put in the carbon fiber patch and epoxy injection were friendly, professional and left the job site cleaner than they found it. They were even able to work around the electrical wire that was blocking the crack saving me a ton of headaches. Five star service and will recommend to everyone I know.

Excellent service and professionalism. Arrived on time and explained exactly what was going to be done. They had to fit a large piece of machinery in our narrow space. Did a great job on the clean up so the space was prepped for our contractor to come out and start building our deck.

I am thrilled with the work that the guys at Stratum did for me. From the original sales appointment to the guys who knocked the job out, all of the employees walked me through how the work would take place, any suggestions they had, and what to expect. My window looks better than I expected and I feel confident it was done correctly. (Special note: I am finishing the outside portion of the window well myself. )

All the staff at Stratum were professional and we are very pleased with the job they performed in our garage to lift the floor. Their pricing was great compared to other companies.

If you are having troubles with anything structural, look no farther. Stratum Structural Systems, and Matt Wittman are who you want to work with. Matt was knowledgeable, kind and took the time to explain what we needed and help us through the process of being able to fix it. I recommend this company 100%!!

Extra Long Post Warning:

I chose Stratum for my window well drainage because they have, across the board, glowing reviews. I mean glowing. By and large, those reviews are probably well earned. Here's my experience...

I first met with a salesman named Matt. Matt is great. He definitely gave me a bit of a hard sell, but I get it. But I made my own decision in the end. I will say that never have I been walked through a process with as much care and detail as Matt provided. He is lovely. If anything, I would say he doesn't have to sell quite so hard.

I was scheduled for a one-day job on June 20. On June 19, the head construction guy (don't remember his name, let's call him Rick) called me to say that if I really, really insisted on them coming the next day, he would make it work, but they really couldn't because they were behind. It was a bit of a strange guilt trip, but whatever. Ohhhhkay, fine. When can you schedule me?, I asked. Rick tells me, "Well, without looking at my calendar closely I can give you July 3." I thought 2 weeks was kind of an extensive delay but I haven't been busy this summer so I said okay. (I was hesitant about taking the day right before a holiday weekend, but I was assured it was a one-day job.)

So July 3 arrives. Keep in mind that Matt has been in contact this whole time, being sure I was kept in the loop. On the morning of July 3, a crew arrives and the crew leader, (maybe his name was Keith?) went over the work. But! The paperwork was missing a key part--a new window well and window well cover, which was part of my bid. I explained that to Keith and he said they will make it work.

I left to grab coffee and when I returned, an older guy was there to tell me that they wouldn't be able to do the window well and cover because it's not in the contract and they don't have the time. I think this guy is Rick, the one who has rescheduled me from June 20. "I'm trying to get my guys out early because of the holiday," he says. He also takes me down to my basement, where the work is happening, and says he's sure he'll be back again soon because I need more drainage than just what they're doing today. I wanna pause here and talk about gender. It was clear that Rick didn't totally respect me because I'm a single woman living on my own. He talked down to me terribly. I hate saying this because everyone else was great. And the guilt!! I totally get the desire to have your employees done early before a holiday, but the new well and cover were part of the contract and my work was already been delayed two weeks. While Rick and I were trying to figure this out, Keith walked up at that point and informed Rick that Matt had confirmed I had paid for the well and cover. At this point, I felt incredibly awkward because it seems like there was some kind of miscommunication I wasn't part of.

Please know that most of this process was really positive. Keith was wonderful. A born leader. He was kind, competent, and cleaned the basement area so well. The crew had a really good rapport with each other. And I honestly can't say enough good about Matt.

Would I choose them again? Maybe. Matt is truly awesome, and everyone other than Rick was absolutely fantastic. I mean, these guys were teaching each other stuff and so supportive. They were really sweet about my cat and just so professional.

Oh! And for those interested in cost. I had one window well drain installed, connected to one sump pump. The downpayment was $1400 and the remainder was $3400.

Our addition needed structural care and the project team did not disappoint. I would like to thank Stratum for their knowledge, professionalism and care spent cleaning up the job site. I highly recommend their services.

Stratum installed two egress windows for our basement renovation project. We couldn't be happier with Alex and Preston's job with the installation. They were very professional and courteous. The contractors doing the actual finishing of the basement might have been more impressed than my wife and I. They said it was the best framing and seal job they had seen in the 35 years they had done basements. I would definitely recommend Stratum to anyone wanting to have egress windows installed.
