Loved shopping here and looking at all the options!

My daughter and I have been looking for fabric to reupholster a sofa and two sofa chairs and we were very excited to find this spot! We limited ourselves to looking only at the fabric that was in the shop. We did not look into ordering anything from any of the sample books--and there were TONS of those! We found many options and it took us a little time to whittle it down to our final selection. The price was way lower than I expected and the quality was great. The sales lady who patiently helped us was really exceptional. I can't wait to have another project and do more shopping here!

Spread had to be redone twice. Was supposed to be done before Christmas finally got it in March after disputing the charge and 2 return trips. Lining is too loose and gives it a buckled look. Gave up going back and forth. I am also stuck with a bag of fabric I have no use for. Someone did not know how to measure. Maybe that is why they were the least expensive.

Was looking for a pretty pricey wallpaper (imported from Italy) my wife loved for our newborn's nursery and after shopping around online came across The Fabric Co. They were out of state but had a sale on this particular wallpaper which allowed me to buy 2 double rolls at almost half the price of most other online retailers including our local wallpaper shop here in southern California. They had a bunch of good reviews on facebook so I took the risk and just decided to buy it. We got the 2 double rolls pretty quickly but unfortunately one of the rolls looked like it had some damage to it at the edge. It looked like it was accidentally cut by the manufacturer at the edge when plastic wrapping the wallpaper (it wasn't Fabric Co. fault). So I called The Fabric Co. and dealt with Tisha to have them ship out a new roll. She was really really great and responsive to deal with. I was expecting to get the run around but she was on top of everything from getting UPS to come and pick up the damaged roll to send back to the manufacturer, to ordering a new roll and getting a new tracking number once it arrived in New York to ship to CA. We got the new roll rather quickly yet again and we are super happy with our experience with The Fabric Co. They definitely care about their customers (even if you're buying online from out of state). This was our first time ordering from them but would definitely order from them again. Prices were the best and customer service was excellent.

Great selection and outstanding customer service! They moved and I did have to search for the new address, but glad I did. Best selection in St. Louis.

We love our new wallpaper! it really helps to make the room and pull some color into the areas. We also ordered fabric to redo a worn out ottoman, still waiting for it to be finished. And we just ordered more to update our dining room. Thanks Fabric Co, Laura & Kelly

Although there is a sign on the door saying that in compliance with the St. Louis County mandate, masks are required, however if you do not want to wear a mask, please adhere to a 6ft. distance - not one employee was wearing a mask. Two women had a mask on, dangling on their ear. One man was helping two customers, both in masks, was 2 ft. from them --- no mask at all. SERIOUSLY -- how hard is it and doesn't that show how concerned this company is about it's customers' health? This review doesn't need to include anything about the merchandise -- at a time like this, that none of us have ever been through - that behavior speaks volumes about their 'customer service'.

i was an internet customer, not a visitor to the shop, and we only purchased fabric, we did not engage their services, we are 1500 miles away.
We had found a textile, to reupholster a favorite family chair and ottoman. Initial source priced at more than $80/yard.
TheFabricCo had same fabric for under $25/yd, so more than $50 less per yard. saving many hundreds $$ on materials cost.
Staff was helpful, patient, informative, enthusiastic, by phone and chat, Fabric delivered quickly, on the Monday of the following week. Thank you

I am really into quilting. There is not enough options here to find what you're looking for. However the store and staff was clean, enjoyable, and friendly!

Overall, good customer service, but it's so expensive for labor.

The quality is just as good as grandma's, but you end up with a bill larger than a paycheck.

TONS of fabrics, but some orders were mixed up, and couldn't review work orders. Bad organization of paperwork.

If you can do the labor your self, this place seems to be the best around.

Had to call them twice to find out why a special order fabric wasn't yet delivered, though it was days past the promised delivery time. When my fabric finally arrived, they refused to honor their own "low-price guarantee", though I'd found the same fabric online for less than half the price!
Beware- the exact same fabrics can be found elsewhere for considerably less and they are liberal with their discretionary "guarantee".
I won't be returning.
