Excavating Contractor reviews in Fenton, Missouri

I live in S County STL. I've been having sewer backup problems for years.

For the past several months I had been using Superior Sewer Company to remedy the problem. They were out numerous times but the problem persisted. Each time they came out it was a different plumber who had no knowledge of what the previous plumber had done and each of them seemed to have a different diagnosis of the issue than the previous guy. Very frustrating!

They ultimately tore up my basement floor to repair a "problematic joint" and made an absolute mess of things. Not only did they misdiagnose the problem, they made a substandard repair, failed to recognize they were connecting their repair to a broken pipe and they created a total biohazard nightmare by piling sewage-laced mud and debris all over my bare concrete floor, walls and personal property (see photos).
Superior Sewer Company? More like Inferior Sewer Company!

Enough was enough. I called Barth Plumbing for a second opinion. I wish they had been the first company I called. What a difference!

Mike Barth came out for an assessment. He could not have been more prompt, punctual, courteous and professional. He quickly identified the problem and solution.

His quote was very reasonable and his work product was top shelf. He and his crew were neat, clean, organized and a pleasure to do business with. I could not be happier with the job they performed. They are true professionals (see photos)Five stars is not enough. I give them 6 stars!

From the time that Mike showed up to give us an estimate to the time that work was completed and they left my basement cleaner than before they got there, the service was amazing!
You just don't find service like this anymore.
I spoke with Mike several time between estimate and actual start of work, he answered all of my questions, always called me back quickly. He went through everything step by step. The price for repairs was very competative, work was complicated in the specified time frame and everything is working perfectly! Doesn't hurt that Mike and Shawn are also super personable and nice.
I hope I never need their services again, but I will be recommending them to anyone who needs any sewer line work.
