About the business:
Liberty Blasting, originally Liberty Sandblasting, was started in 1974 by Frank Waters. Over the years Liberty Blasting has gained a reputation as a local leader in media blasting and painting, specializing in the restoration of outdoor patio furniture.
In October of 2022, the company was sold to Scott and Michelle Arendt, two experienced business leaders. The company was purchased to add to the synergy of their existing business, Custom Machine Works, a fabrication and advanced manufacturing facility located in the same business park as Liberty. Although Liberty’s name and logo have changed, the outstanding quality our customers have come to know will only continue to improve. With that said, we thank Mr.Waters for all of the blood, sweat, and tears he invested into the business, and we look forward to what the future brings.

I used this company two years ago (2024) to sandblast and repaint our Woodard Briarwood patio furniture that we purchased in 1984. It looked brand new when the job was completed. It has been on the deck for two years year-round and still looks brand new. This furniture can still be purchased but is not as heavy as the 1984 product. Could not be happier with the work and how the furniture has held up.

We just had patio furniture redone. Not only does it look wonderful, the whole process was a great experience. The service was super! Tanner picked up and delivered the furniture with a smile. He was great.
