Very thorough and detailed inspection with photos of areas of concern. Follow up phone conversation with me explaining inspection finds and patiently answering my questions. Mr. Sonderen went so far as doing research and making calls to the City for answers regarding wiring concerns. You won’t find a better company who has your best interests at heart. We called St. Louis Home Inspection Services for an inspection of my mother's home. The service received was prompt, thorough, respectful, and friendly.
The home inspection report was clear and well organized. The template contained a section for each category of the home inspection (interior, exterior, electrical, etc). A photo of the area inspected was included alongside the area being addressed in the report. In the photos, arrows and/or circles were used to highlight the areas addressed, making it easy to locate any problems.
Upon completion of the inspection we received a phone call explaining major items addressed in the report along with an e-mailed copy of the report.
We wholeheartedly recommend St. Louis Home Inspection Services and would not hesitate to call again if we were to buy or sell a home in the St. Louis area. Thanks again Steve and well done.

I have had 4 inspectors so far in my life, well 5 now, and I must tell you this... I have been ripped off by the past 4 inspectors!! I do not have a single complaint and would wholeheartedly recommend Steve to anyone. He was courteous and patient with me and was in no rush to get the job done at the expense of missing something. We covered every inch of the house and left no stone unturned. At the end of the inspection I had no doubt of steve's expertise and am very confident in his abilities to completely inspect a house.

Lastly, he's Licensed!! I had no idea in Missouri you can inspect homes and not be licensed. That's really important fact to consider when hiring a home inspector.
