Well, I wanted to use this business because I had read all the good reviews, but Jason was a no show after he had told me he would stop by to give an estimate at the end of his workday. I have been trying to find someone who can do home repairs and it is really hard to find someone reliable. I guess I’ll add him to that list. It’s a shame.

Carpenters did my kitchen lights, which I love. They were efficient and tidy. Had an electrical problem at my job late on a Friday afternoon. I called them for advice, and they came and fixed the problem without charge. So community-friendly.

Jason and his professional crew have been completing projects for me for years now. Most recently they removed flooring, installed a new front door, and gutted a bathroom in preparation for a remodel. Jason always communicates and shows up for the job. His crew is always professional and pays attention to detail. His quoting process is clear and detailed with no surprises in the end. I don’t believe there is any job they can’t complete or that I wouldn’t trust them with!

We have had Jason Carpenter and his crew:
1. Rescreen our large porch which looks wonderful.
2. Sheetrock a room, excellent job.
3. Perfectly matched and replaced ceiling tiles in a dropped ceiling.
4. Built and caulked a solid door frame and installed a new door where no door had been. Looks amazing.
These guys can do anything. Affordable and reliable. Message for any questions or pics.

We had these men come & complete SEVERAL repairs of our home that we are in the processing of selling.
Repairs Made: Fixed the rotted wood around our columns in the front of the home, replaced several holes in the sheet rock & painted, replaced baseboard & painted in our kitchen, stained interior doors, replaced rotted wood trim around our garage door & painted, replaced quarter round in bathroom, & installed transition piece from tile to our walk-out basement french door. They completed other miscellaneous jobs as asked, and without hesitation.
Not only did they offer a wonderful estimate, they completed the work exactly when they said they would. They worked around people coming to view our home, which was multiple times & interruptions to their work. They were extremely well-mannered, kind, and adapted as we continued asking them to complete multiple projects that were not on the original estimate. They made getting repairs completed in our home an exceptional experience. I highly recommend them, their work, and we will definitely be using them again in the future!

I have gone through close to 5 contractors since moving to Overland Park. Then my neighbor referred me to Carpenter's Hand Man Services after she had a massive water claim with a lot of interior damage to all levels of her home. I have since used them about a half dozen times and LOVE them. They show up when they say they say they are going to show up. Will first provide a quote for the work and what that entails. Best part - the workmanship! A+! I have had wood rot, gutter issues, drainage issues from a window well, mailbox post install, interior renovations and the list goes on.

The second best part is they are extremely reasonable when it comes to pricing! I have since referred them to two co-worker's who both used them and LOVED them! Finding a reliable, affordable and honest contractor was hard for me and I am forever grateful for my neighbors recommendation as I love Carpenter's Hand Man Services!

We had Jason & his crew replace and repair two exterior doors that had been catching water and created damage to subfloor. Also, fixed, repaired and repainted great room with 12' ceilings. Extremly pleased!! Showed up and on time! Great communication, courteous, reasonable, wonderful experience from start to finish! Highly recommend his services!

Jason has done a lot of small jobs for us in the past but when our home flooded due to a defective toilet valve, Jason and his crew did an outstanding job! A three-level, nearly all inclusive home renovation was done much faster than we expected and at a very reasonable rate. And they kept perfect communication the entire time!

Extremely pleased! Jason and his crew have done several jobs for us ranging from small plumbing and lighting repairs to a larger project with a new vinyl plank floor, sheetrock repair, painting, new bathroom fixtures and more. They showed up on time and did beautiful work at a reasonable price. Very courteous and professional.

In this day and age, finding someone you can trust to not try to get every penny out of you, Let alone fixing an issue and not taking money ……I don’t know where to begin, had an issue with water heater, plumbing company quoted $3200.00. Called Jason, thought he could do it for a much better price, he went by, was able to light the pilot light that the plumbing company told us would not light and had to be replaced. Now a woman and her 20 month old baby have hot water and a Mother and step father don’t have to fork out unnecessary money. He is a great guy, he is courteous , he is honest, and I guarantee you can trust him…….give this man a call!!!

Jason and his crew have done a multitude of things for my home, always in a professional manner and at a reasonable cost, and provided excellent communication. We started with just a couple of things for them to work on. We were impressed on the quality of work and price. we ended up having Jason
build our deck, completely re-do our sun room. we had him remodel our kitchen, bathroom, and put in new floors all through the house, paint and replace all windows . They did great work were on time and finished when they said they would,. Recommend very highly

Jason did an excellent job installing our new storm door. He also repaired an existing one which now works perfectly. He called right before the appointment time to say he is on the way and arrived on time. Very professional and knows his stuff. Highly recommend him.
