Exceptional service! I came home to find my furnace not working, so I googled furnace repair and found Ted's Heating & Cooling. Ted was able to arrive within an hour which was great! While inspecting my furnace he was sharing what he was doing and looking for. Luckily the sensor was just dirty and needed cleaning so all I was charged was a service fee.
Thank you for such honest and friendly service! I highly recommend!!

I just want to say ted is the most honest repair man ever, about a week ago we had furnace issues he made time to come out that evening let us know honestly that it was likely the motor going out and he was right next day it did he was so great when i called he got to us really quick cleaned the fan and replaced the motor for almost half of what any other company would of charged, had to call him again this week because the hot water tank went on the fritz again ted was here same day and again amazing advice . If you are looking for honest good repair service please choose Ted .

We were having a problem with our air conditioner and called Ted, who came out that same day and fixed the problem. He also checked out the furnace for winter while he was there, even when we had not made an appointment for him to do that-. We thought we might have to replace the air conditioner, but he found the problem and fixed it, saving us a lot of money! He was courteous, honest and helpful in answering our questions - he definitely knows his business! We would highly recommend Ted's Heating & Cooling. Five stars to Ted!

I have been using Ted’s for many years now! He is always responsive and quick to fix (as parts and availability allow) our furnace issues! I am so thankful that there are still amazing companies out there to use that are efficient, affordable and friendly!! Highly recommend Ted’s!!

Ted is the most honest, professional I have ever met. He came out at 9pm and replaced a capacitor and added freon. Told us we did NOT need a new unit, thank goodness!
Price was VERY reasonable. If I could give him more stars, I would!!

Ted came to our home to give us a second opinion on our furnace. The first company that came out was a big name company, they said we had a carbon monoxide leak, cracked unit AND oil leak. It was going to cost us over $3,000.00. We decided to call for a second opinion, and, having not lived in the area for long, didn't know who to call. We ended up calling Ted's. Long story short, he looked at our unit, did carbon monoxide testing and looked at the "oil leak" ... there wasn't a thing wrong with our furnace. What kind of business tells you there is nothing wrong and doesn't make a sale?? TED'S!

We totally appreciate this type of business. It's so hard to find honesty, integrity and professionalism these days. He has earned our loyalty. Thank you Ted.

Ted was just everything you want out of a Heating and Cooling Service. I called him at 9pm and he personally answered the phone and had our Heater working within the hour. I love that he didn't charge extra for the night call and was honest and fair and efficient. EVERYONE I know will be referred to him. Such a great job at a fair price. He definitely was our hero and saved us from the cold!

Edited 4/29/2020. I had Ted's do a furnace and AC unit replacement. His arrival was prompt as scheduled and the work was completed during the time frame as initially estimated. The work was quality, clean, and I once again highly recommend Ted's for any service or repair.

Ted is fabulous! He is very prompt to return calls, extremely thorough on his work, and his pricing is excellent. I have had him come service our air conditioner and heating unit twice (once each), and he provides top-notch service. He explains what he is doing and takes the time to teach us how to better maintain our air/heat units so that we can eliminate service calls in the future. Other companies (or individuals) I have dealt with are very much in the business for the money, take short cuts, and overcharge. Ted is not like the rest. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their heating and cooling needs!

Ted is extremely knowledgeable, and will treat you like you are family. He was able to diagnose over the phone and came out during off hours to quickly get our house from 90 to 72 degrees inside! I highly recommend Ted to everyone I know, and whoever checks reviews. Call Ted now!

Doing business with Ted's Heating and Cooling was a pleasure. He is friendly, honest, hardworking and on time (actually, he was 10 minutes early). He and his partner installed our new ac unit and furnace in a timely fashion and we are now enjoying the much cooler house. You will not regret choosing Ted's Heating and Cooling for any of the services he offers.

Ted is hands down the best at HVAC. He has never tried to sell me something unnecessary and has always been able to fix whatever the problem may be with my unit. It's OLD, but he consistently will try to fix it before even thinking about replacing it. He's always friendly and has had to come to my house after hours or weekends every time and he has never seemed put off by having to come out on his time off, in the pouring rain and even during a massive snow storm. Thanks for being awesome Ted!

Ted's Heating And Cooling is the true definition of amazing customer service. We called in the afternoon for an issue with my AC, he not only showed up on time the same evening, but called ten minutes before to verify we still needed the service and give a time of arrival. He was polite, professional and very instructional. He went through things thoroughly and quickly until the issue was found and fixed. I would recommend Ted's Heating And Cooling over and over again. I have found my new heating and cooling guy.

Ted was great. I called in the morning and he had my air conditioner back in working order before lunch. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time and did quality work. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the KC area.

Hot Monday morning in July and Ted was able to fix an issue on my outside AC unit and explain the cause. It was diagnosed and repaired within a few hours of calling. Awesome response and very reasonable cost of service. Thanks a million!

Ted was able to get to my house quickly when I had no AC in 95 degree weather. He spent two hours thoroughly trying to find the issue. Unfortunately, the AC was beyond repair, but I plan on hiring Ted to install a new one. Plus, my timid dog loved him right off the bat. You know they’re a good man when your dogs love ‘em.

Our experience with Ted was outstanding. I didn't call him until after work, and he still came out that same night. The issue was as simple as a blown dedicated fuse for the AC - his assessment and fix took less than 20 minutes and had us back up and running. It's rare to find people in the service industry that stand on honesty, fairness and integrity ... but in my opinion, Ted embodies all three. Thank you ... Thank you ... Thank you!

Ted was extremely knowledgeable, and treated me as if I was his daughter. My husband and I just bought our 1st home and so a lot of learning comes with owning your own home. I called him last night and he quickly returned my call, I explained my issues with my air conditioner and he explained some possible issues that could be going on with the air conditioner over the phone, giving me a few options to try before having him come out and paying a service charge. Not even knowing who I was, he was open and honest and not out to just take my money. After doing what he had recommended I try, I still felt that I needed to have him come out and take a look. Called him the next morning and he was able to swing by our house that morning. Making me feel like a priority. So thanks again Ted for your help. Ted was great in helping my mom get her air working again! He was quick to call back and answered all of our questions thoroughly. This man is so HARD WORKING! He didn't suggest repairs that weren't needed and helped her work within her budget to get the house cool again. We will be using Ted again and he is the ONLY person we would recommend.

I cannot Express the overall gratitude and appreciation I have for Ted. His determination after half a day's work, running all over the city, speaking with the parts dealer, handling my furnace like his own was beyond expectation. His years of knowledge and willingness to not give up was more than I could have asked for. I would more than recommend his service to anyone in need. Treated me like family and you can't find that genuine customer service these days.

Instead, he said he would come right over. It was 84 degrees in our house when he got here so we were thrilled he could get our air working last night. We all had a good night's sleep thanks to Ted.
