They tore my yard up really bad, breaking one of my planters, breaking my fence, were supposed to put in a pond and instead dug a hole and filled it with rocks. I made them take that out, it was supposed to help with a water drainage problem. They decided to run a pipe to the back of the yard, it did not help, that cost me another 550.00, called him back out to show that it did not help at all, now wants to run pipe across two neighbors yards to side street at the cost of 350.00 more. The patio is getting water but not the flowerbed in back and flower needs in front are not getting water. I wish that I had went with another company.

Victor was very professional and did a great job giving me a front lawn where there was just mud.
He did so well that I am having him give me a new back yard next month.
Very satisfied.

He was able to get out to my home and repair my fence within a day of me calling. The job was done well, and in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again.

I hired Vivtor in 2020 to build me a retaining wall and to add dirt in it to build it up. In order to build it up, he had to remove two of my bushes and replace them. When replacing them he must not dug the hole dip enough because both of my bushes died. After notifying Vivtor in 2021 he come over and said he would replace them and gave me a time and date. He never came by nor called. I called Vivtor several times with him say I'm coming. As of today I have not heard from Vivtor. He is all about that dollar bill not the service he give. I would not recommend.

Owner Victor did not finish job and continued to ask for more money, more money, poor job and poor communication skills. After giving him more than half the estimate cost for job which was in the thousands. He said he ran out of money on what exactly? Had to appoint an attorney, and also pay for a 3rd party inspector to come and point out all the areas he did a poor job on the retaining wall and fence. I now have to pay someone to do the entire job over and remove every part of the fence as well as add supports to retaining wall etc...etc...the guy is also not insured or has a license. He then continued to call and threaten me which now I need to fill out a police report. Stay clear from this one. Now I understand why all his references said eventually he got to the job but they would not hire him again.

I had them clean up from a demo job and lay new dirt. They left numerous old cinder blocks. Had them add new gravel to drive way. They left the section in front of my garage incomplete of gravel after I was told it need more. When I reminded them of the additional gravel I was given a flimsy excuse. I would not recommend this company for any work. Their pictures look great but they cut corners all the way.

I have used Arreola Lawn Maintenance for a few different projects and they have always done an excellent job. I appreciate how easy it is to work with Victor and his crew. I will continue to contact them in the future whenever I need landscaping work.

Victor of Arreola Landscaping did an outstanding job for us. I found him on Craig's List and then checked out his work on his Facebook page. One of the best things was that he started 3 days after we signed a contract when I couldn't get others to call me back. He had a couple of outstanding ideas that embellished the overall look and was very flexible as we made a few changes as the project progressed. He installed our sprinkler system and installed a rock bed to eliminate an erosion problem and then solved a huge sump pump problem. Great ideas from him. He also agreed to plant some plants that we bought and allowed us to use his discount at a nursery which was huge savings. Highly recommend

I'll begin this by saying what Victor did, the work looks good, so he gets one star for that. Now we get to the bad. We asked for natural rock edging around our house. In talking with us he recommended using plastic edging, which based one every other quote from reputable companies, was substantially cheaper. The total on every other quote was roughly $1000.

I called Victor several times and he only ever explained that he "bid the job, not the linear feet". I paid $1000 more just to get this crook off my property after he did work that we were over paying for. Do not use him.

Heaven sent... amidst a real backyard disaster.... Thank you Victor and all your hard working crew for saving my backyard from eroding any further, by building two fabulous walls across my property to literally keep my yard from going over hill. It looks GREAT and I know it is solid because I watched them take such care in their work. I wish I could post a picture but I'm having problems doing so. Maybe later I'll figure it out. I can't wait to sit outside... relax and take in the view from my new beautiful area. Arreola Lawn is the best. Victor knows exactly what needs to be done correctly and keeps everything rolling until the job is done. You can't lose!!!!

Arreola Landscaping-Kansas City did an excellent job for us. We have used their services since 2006. We had a fairly big project, for homeowners. We live on a corner lot and had to replace the entire retaining wall around the street-sides of our home, replace a driveway and install a paved backyard. They, also, re-landscaped the front and rear lawns. They were reasonably priced and did the work promptly. They were trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. We have also used their lawn cutting service. We have no hesitation about hiring them again for future projects within the scope of what they do.

Very happy with the tree trimming work the Arreola crew did for us today! Owner Victor's price was fair, but the main reason I chose him was because he came across as sincere and trustworthy. We had several large limbs snap from recent storms, precariously perched over our roof, gazebo and power lines. I was very concerned about how a tree service would get them down, but I was amazed at the skillful professionalism of the workers up in the trees and how cautious they were in avoiding any potential property damage when the limbs came down. And after they were all safely down the sizeable crew quickly and thoroughly cleaned up the entire yard. We very highly recommend Arreola!

Arreola Lawn Maintenance was incredibly professional and did really great work! We wanted to get our house ready to sell after it had gone without a mow for months. The only real direction I could give was less grass, trimmed bushes, new mulch, and they knocked it out of the park! So much better than I imagined our yard could look and for a really competitive price! We will definitely be using them each time we need a transformation in the future!

The Arreola Landscaping Company recently completed a landscaping project for us to our satisfaction, and we would highly recommend working with them. Not only Victor and his crew are experts in what they do, they showed up in a timely manner and completed the work within the promised timeframe. Victor is very professional and friendly, always responsive to all concerns, and offers reasonable pricing and satisfaction guarantee. We would definitely work with him again in the future and would recommend him to our friends.

I would not use Arreola Lawn and Landscape for ANYTHING! The owner is unprofessional, doesn’t go by his own contract in regards to payment. He held my job hostage until he was paid in full. He also added on additional charges because his salesperson didn’t write the contract correctly, so the owner says.

The only and I mean only redeeming quality about this company is the employees. The guys working on the job showed more heart and cared more about the project. Because of his employees and him subcontracting part of the work out is the only reason I am happy with the job.

But because of the owner I would not recommend this company for anything.

Victor Arreola and his crew built us a beautiful lower deck with pavers at a very fair price and done in less than 3 days ! I will always highly recommend Victor, he is trustworthy, honest & prompt - always returns calls and performs his job as promised ! His work on our home is in some of his completed work photos.

Great experience. Contacted the owner, he was very prompt and gave me a quick price, they dispatched a crew and they took care of the work same day. He was flexible with payment as I has to leave a check for pick up (I was out the area), and they went above and beyond. Excellent work for sod replacement. I highly reccomend them.

It’s been 16 months since the work has been done, so this review is over due.
By far the best investment we’ve ever made in our home was hiring Victor to hardscape our yard. It has transformed the appearance of the whole property, adding undeniable value to our home and beautifying the whole intersection of the neighborhood where our home sits. Some changes and additions were made while the project was underway by both Victor and myself that I was able to negotiate at a fair price on the spot. Mine ended up an expensive job but worth every penny! I met neighbors I had never talked to before who had nothing but compliments and wanted to know who the contractor was that I used. One guy a half block down even had his landscaper copy the way Victor edged around the trees in my yard! I have more hardscaping I intend to do in the future and I fully intend to use Arreola again.

Great work and great down to earth people. Highly recommend.
