Window Installation reviews in Independence, Missouri

The siding looks good except they didn't put the seams in the back like they said they would. The stone finish on the foundation is falling off. Caulking looks terrible. Gutters also leak. Not up to par for what we paid.

Beware - Purchased Windows in June 2024, finally installed Dec 31,2024. Trim work didn't match existing woodwork. We were assured it would be stained by a professional soon. After months and months of back and fourth. Cancelled appointments, unreturned messages and phone calls we still do not have the trim stained to match. It is now February 2026. I called again Feb 5 and I was assured a work ticket was open and that Bill Farmer would reach out within 3 days. I called William today, February 16 to let him know we still have not heard from anyone. Yes, they cost less, yes the widows look good, but they don't stand by their promises.

Be very careful with this siding company they pressure people into signing things they don't know what they're signing

Worst company ever to hire fur siding. They lie and take your $$$$$ 4 months to do a 2 week project. had my back yard occupied the whole summer. Pretty sure thumper gutter guy is an idiot. And all the did was a $50 gift card joke of a lying company. no one ever came out to do a quality of the install post inspection. Still to this day haven't seen the replacement plywood pictures underneath I asked for. thinking about talking to a lawyer for negligence

Be very careful with this company and read your contract. Our salesperson said if we helped them out and took partial pieces on the back of our house that we could get a discount and probably no seams because of the way the back of our house is configured. They do make a good product but since he wrote seams in the contract (I was thinking possibly on the back of my house), they put 24 seams on the side of my house. I do not feel I got the value I paid (a lot) for. Every time I walk by the side of my house, even 15 months later, it makes me angry. Every time I see their commercial or their logo that says SEAMLESS right in it, it makes me mad. When I questioned why I had seams, they told me that is what I agreed to and that I was wrong and that their salesman would never have lied to me. Just be sure to go over everything and make sure what you are getting. Good luck.

A superior product to ANY other vinyl siding out there. May cost a little more, but worth it. Ishmael's crew worked every day till job was done. In all kind of weather. Beautiful job on our 2200 Sq ft home. Did good job over cleaning up and disposing of old siding. Addressed any of our questions, and went above and beyond.

I called Continental Siding as I was looking to replace the wood shake on the sides and backs of my home. When I spoke to the (very friendly) scheduler, she confirmed that I was the sole home owner. I am. Great. The next day, they called to confirm my already set appointment. Again, I was asked if I was the sole home owner. Again, I said yes, I am. About 30 minutes after that call, she called back again, letting me know her supervisor wanted to know if my boyfriend (who lives with me and I mentioned in the first call) was going to be there. At this point, I asked if her why did there seem to be a concern about my ownership, and that as I would be paying for this work myself, why was it such a priority that my boyfriend be there? It's important to note I never said he would not be there, just that I'd have to see if it fit his work schedule. She tried to explain that they just wanted to ensure that all decision makers were there at the initial consult. I told her to please cancel my consult, and to please pass on to her supervisor that the sole reason I was cancelling was that her concern that I am unable to make a sound decision for my own home is offensive.

Continental Siding does NOT address damage from job. They promised to fix security cameras, told not be move, during installation process. Instructed us to work with the security company... we're stuck with bill!

I called to get a bid and they told me they are too busy. Then stop advertising! Your tedious/silly commercials are constantly airing asking for business. I guess your slogan "call now" is just baloney.

The sales rep, Marcus, is superb at his job. But don't expect any follow up after you sign a document. What you're quoted in your home is NOT what you will pay and don't expect a price break down or explanation in discrepancy, you wont get one. Nicole, the project manager, seems knowledgeable and she wants to do right but wont make any decisions without consulting with her boss, Erik, who happens to also be her husband. But hey, they do a good job hiding that with their professionalism while together. The crew that does the work is rude when it comes to your personal property. Don't expect any landscaping to be treated with respect. And it would be helpful if you could speak some small amount of Spanish if you want to communicate with the crew. Be prepared for damages inside and outside of your home but if you catch Nicole on a good day, maybe you'll be offered some half attempt to smooth it over since they don't hold themselves accountable for anything. Alec is a ruthless rude business manager who has no care to discuss or make right with the consumer, all he wants is his money. Be prepared to be spoken to in the most unprofessional manner possible. While tearing off the old siding and hammering in the old nails they damaged every interior exterior wall of our home. Granted they did send someone to repair them which half of the holes weren't touched and the other ones have a patch job I am certain my child could have done better at. We have a broken window, destroyed landscaping, a dangling doorbell that actually doesn't even work now. They nailed wood into the new siding after being asked not to. Nothing from the very 1st day went as we were told it would and the company does not care. They will bulldog you every way possible. I do not recommend and for having a good product its sad the company is so poor.

We replaced our old windows with one large one. The installers were knowledgeable and professional and the new window looks great.

The quoted my mother $28k For siding for a 1500 sqft house . She agreed to the quote. come to find out . If you wanted soffit and fascia done would cost an additional $7k. Now has two different colors of fascia. I will be hiring a different company to fix this mess.!!!!

There product is somewhat decent. They do good at siding and windows. Horrible at decks. My deck is about 13 years and I have had trouble with it for 13 years. They used 4x4's instead of 6x6, no hangers on outer walls. I had to add a 3rd stringer myself. I've had tor re-attach the skirting at least once a year.

Called to get a free quote for siding and windows. Immediately received a call within the hour. The young lady gathered all of my information and asked what we were needing done. Once I explained we needed windows on the front of the house and siding I was told that they "are only accepting bigger projects at this time" and that we "could call back in November for a quote for a small project". I inquired more and found out that if my whole house needed done then they'd be more than happy to come out and would set an appointment. Definitely looking elsewhere for a business that treats all projects the same- big or small. Way to represent yourself as money hungry.

We chose Continental Siding because we did a lot of research... We looked at all of the available products and companies out there, as this was a decision that would impact our home for many years to come.

We read customer review after customer review to learn about products, installation methods, and overall company perceptions. When we were done, there was really only one choice, and that was Continental Siding.


The polymer siding from Continental is truly a premier product, that is made to stand up to our Midwestern weather. More than anything else though, their installation techniques are what differentiates them from everyone else. From an additional home wrap, to the insulation layer and even the tracks that helps fasten the panels to the home, each step is very well thought out and executed. We were able to watch it happen, and the installation was fantastic!


We do not normally do reviews but felt this one was important. You may find less expensive products and installations out there, but in our opinion, you will not find anything better. We could not recommend anyone more highly than we do Continental Siding.

Been trying to get gutter helmet and guttering replaced since end of March 2020. After several phone calls to the service department and supervisors and their boss, It is now July 22nd. I'm still waiting!

STAY AWAY! They could care less if you are a returning customer. We were a returning customer who'd spent $30,000 with them the previous year siding our house and out buildings. As return customers, my husband and I signed a contract with them to do another job. Now, if you sign a contract with them and then decide not to go through with the work, you will be on the hook for 25% of the project cost per the wording of their contract but if they decide to walk on you, they get to walk away without a care and owe you nothing. The project we contracted with Continental Siding Supply was approved by their salesperson, construction manager, and two production managers before Alec Cook decided he didn't want the job and pulled it. Not only did Alec Cook nix the job but he couldn't have treated us any worse when he told us to take a hike. Now we are stuck trying to find someone to do the work he refuses to do although we have a written contract. If you aren't sure who Alec Cook is, watch the commercials, he's Jerry O'Neill's sidekick. And speaking of good ole Jerry, he wasn't involved in our second project but when we made him aware of what was going on, he didn't bother to respond to us at all. There are so many good siding companies out there that want your business, why bother with Continental Siding Supply? Take it from us, once a customer doesn't make a bit of difference to this company. There's no loyalty to you no matter how good a customer you are.

I called this company to get a quote on replacement windows in a rental property. The property is a condo and only has 4 windows in it. I told them that I was looking for prices on replacement windows and I was not sure how long I was even going to own this property. They informed me that my wife and I would have to be present, and that it would take 90 min to 2 hours. I informed them that it was just 4 windows, I did not need a presentation and look at samples. I just wanted a quote. They told me that they had to do the presentation to both of us or could not give a quote. I said that I guess they did not want to sell me windows then. They agreed and hung up.

Great service! The representative came out to bid us a price, then kept us updated weekly on when the project would start. They were able to start sooner than anticipated. The workers were hard working, polite & did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend. Love the clean, new look to our home. Would recommend siding to anyone considering it - so much better than repairing wood rot!
