Planters is a must see in Kansas City. They have the most wonderful spices that you instantly smell the moment you walk by. It is truly like walking in a Feild of fresh herbs. Walk past the spices straight to the loose leaf teas, and coffee grounds. It's wonderful. The peach tea is one of my absolute favorites. They also have anything and everything you may need for landscaping and gardening. I highly recommend this shop. Shopping local and getting to enjoy the wonderful aroma of fresh spices is 110% worth it.

The storefront in the historic River Market is reminiscent of the general stores of days gone by. They serve up an extensive selection of spices and seasonings. I buy our taco seasoning, french onion soup base, buttermilk ranch dressing seasoning, as well as various others here monthly. The aroma of spices is noticeable from the moment you walk in the front door. Love shopping local at this Kansas City landmark!
