Searching for a 'Structural Engineer', Google and Yelp have given 'PST ENGINEERING' high positive reviews, so arranged to meet Frank Comer(Sr. Investigation & Design Professional Engineer) at the house we were planning to buy. Frank is very personable, explained all areas of interest which would raise flags, which items should be given immediate attention and others which were normal settling such as vertical/horizontal cracking. His suggestions of benefits such as additional attic insulation, drainage away from the foundation, etc., put us at ease that nothing serious was noticed, just maintaining good maintenance practices. Frank made sure all our questions were answered and stated not to hesitate to contact him for any issues in the future prior to hiring someone. Highly recommend 'PST ENGINEERING'.

I called in to speak with someone to schedule a foundation inspection, to later be informed that I need a structural engineer. Speaking with Robin was great, she is very informative and a wealth of knowledge. Her team seems to be the best of the best. I may not need the services after all but she explained everything in depth. Robin, is kind and has a way of teaching you rather than speaking down on you. Highly recommend working with this group.

Very rude customer service. I called to schedule a consultation for a home that is known to have some foundational issues and instead of scheduling, the receptionist proceeded to lecture me about how severe my foundations issues sounded to her. She also lectured me about the training that engineers receive after I told her about another company that I have coming to inspect my home. She was incredibly rude and patronizing. The lost a potential customer for no good reason. Sad.

This company was informative and patient when performing all of our inspections. Very professional and prompt, valued our time, reasonable and friendly. Would highly reccomend for everyone needing PST services.

The team at PST was exceptional. They were professional, responsive and objective. They worked with me to do structural inspection of my home and dispute a claim by a less reputable engineer. Personally, I don't seem to make good decisions unless I have some experience that has taught me the hard way that I should have looked further into what I was getting into. With that knowledge I can honestly say that PST Engineering has been one of the best decision I have ever made.
Instead of assuming that the property you are purchasing looks good so it must be good. I decided to play it safe and actually know for a fact and have some peace of mind forever going forward.
Well, would you know it the property that I made an offer on had about $70k in unseen fixes to be done? Thanks to PST, that property is not my responsibility.

It also doesn't hurt that they are nice people and will work with you on whatever you need, simply ask them.

Call them before you pay for something to be fixed that does not need fix your problem.

This company was amazing for the purchase of our new home. I did not have a lot of confidence in the builder prior to our purchase. So we decided to go ahead and hire an independent engineer. After he completed the report, there were a few minor things that needed to be repaired. So having his report gave us something tangible to go back to the builder with. instead of us just complaining. We have now been in our house for one year, and no other problems have a come about. So with that being said I feel like his report was accurate and thorough. I would definitely use PST again.

I needed a report for my foundation and got a very in-depth report to make the right decisions on fixing my property. Frank is very good at what he does.
