About the business:
In 1978 Carol Mitchell (mom) opened her first small produce market in Franklin County, MO.
Followed by her second location in Kirkwood Farmers’ Market in 1982. She flourished in her new found position of as business owner. Carol’s son Dan began partnering with her in 1998, when the Holiday Shop & Tree Lot Opened, followed by daughter Kris in 2009, when Carol retired.
In 2022, Summit Produce officially rebranded to The Summit All Seasons Market. And in 2025, Zach, Kris’s son, made Summit a third generation family owned & operated business.
