Highly recommend working with Alexander Hernandez for your house painting needs! The team was efficient, professional, and did an overall excellent job!
I had lots of wood rot that needed to be touched up and they made it look brand new! -
Do not do business with this company!!! Comforter set is poor quality faded colors and poor fit!! Paid $24.66 to return item I couldn't use!! Terrible customer service!!!
-
Good quality cabinets, well built and beautiful stain and paint finishes. Good support by Ross.

I purchased a utensil set for a family member having a party. The set didn't match as good as someone else brought. I had the 20% coupon. I spent $44 They only refunded me $17. Unbelievable. Buyer beware. I should have kept the set

nspector our next house. We were busy doing the things to close on our home and preparing to move. We trusted that Nick would show up for us as he did in the past. Instead we found after moving in that between the joists the roof sagged.
The jets did not work in the master bathroom and there is no hot water coming out of the faucet on the tub. I contacted him about the roof and he took no responsibility. Rather he made excuses and taking no responsibility for his oversight. -
I would put a negative number if I could.
PLEASE BEWARE! THIS NO JOKE!
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
Also when you read his responses to other negative reviews, he never takes accountability! He literally blames everything on the homeowners!
My landlord had Nick's company come out to do a mold test. I have been extremely ill and going downhill over the last two and a half years due to water damage mold. It got to the point that I had to take my 5 lb dog to go live somewhere else because I did not think he was going to make it. Nick's report said that there were zero spores that were harmful or dangerous from water damage. His report is bogus. I am not the only one who has had this experience. It is my understanding that his father started the company and was a legitimate mold inspector. His kid went to work for him, and now this is the type of business he is running. I was so ill that my whole central nervous system was affected terribly. I had severe rashes and lesions on my body, I had chronic infections that would not heal. I would continue to get these infections over and over and over. His report literally said that there was zero mold toxicity in my apartment. I am so glad that I had another company come out right before I moved. This person needs to be stopped. It is not right that he is running a serious business that is affecting people's lives. This is something that people die from. You can't just put whatever numbers you feel like on a report. People go through lots of training to do this business! I wish I could tell you how sick I have been. The person who came, and I'm not sure his name because the business is named after his dad. But he was only there for about 5 minutes. It takes a lot longer than that to do an air quality test in a whole apartment. Which he did not do. I know for a fact that he did the same thing in the apartment across the hall. I was good friends with them, I was there when he showed up and I was there when he left. He was there about the same amount of time 5 minutes. This is just not right! You can look at the reviews. The good ones were obviously when his father owned the business. The real reviews of this person are now starting to roll in. The reviews are stating the same exact thing that I experienced! This person needs to be stopped!
He also stinks so bad my apartment smelled all day long!Official response from representative 07.07.2024 10:25This person has the wrong “Nick”. We did not do inspection for her and her inspection company is out of Grain Valley, not Lees Summit. InspectorNick.com’s Nick started company not his Dad. Hope she finds resolve if she contacts the right company. -
I highly recommend this company. They did a great job in a timely manner. Moved everything back that they moved and made sure I was happy. Taped, caulked and covered plastic over fence and anything that could get overspray. I would have them again for my painting needs. Oops to soon they forgot two gutters we will see if they return to paint or not. Stay tuned! They did return to paint gutters they forgot.

Nick did the inspection on a condo we bought in KC. We had a problem with the windows after moving in and he came by and helped determine the issue and helped fix them. He is reliable, honest and a great inspector. We highly recommend him.
-
We highly recommend Alex and his crew. They stained our kitchen cabinets, painted an accent wall in our living room and kitchen and painted our primary bathroom. Alex and his team are highly professional, very thorough, friendly and did a fantastic job! We were referred by our past realtor to A Hernandez Painting and so glad we went with them!

He'll probably say anything you want for money. He really really screwed me and my family over with his lies. With so many other inspectors out there I'd suggest you find someone else. A pretty Unethical way to be, he listened to nothing that I had to say and he ignored the pictures that I had taken. The damage that was done to my home happened immediately following the other problems that were caused but Nick seemed to feel the need to lie to make sure his friends from the big corporate roofing company got their way. I strongly feel like Nick from this company had his mind made up before they even got to my home. He lied and tried to cover up his corruption by saying that it was a home science problem while ignoring the extremely obvious truth and cause of the problem. It's a good thing for this guy that inspectors in Missouri aren't regulated because he might have to be held accountable for his actions. I had several other professionals look at the same problem and they have very different opinions on the cause. Every single ceiling in my home had water damage on it and had to be repainted at the same time that the siding on my home was damaged and it was extremely obvious that the water came from the inside of my house because there was attic insulation on the side of my home. Either inspector nick Is not intelligent enough to see the obvious or he's a paid goon for a major corporation.
Official response from representative 24.03.2021 05:52This is a homeowner of a house that had roofing issues that he believed caused siding rot. We were hired by the roofing contractor to give the unbiased facts from a building science standpoint and he didn’t like the truth. The fact is, he had roof issues that roof contractor addressed and he just had poorly maintained siding that rotted. Stay tuned on all other review sites, as this unhappy person is out with a vengeance to “one star” us till he feels better about it all. -
I'd be lying if I didn't admit I chose this inspector because it reminds me of The Simpsons... "Hi everybody! Hi Dr. Nick!!"
Our realtor gave us a few recommendations and they had the best Yelp reviews so we went with them. Glad we did! Nate does a nice job talking you through everything in the inspection process, and you can tell he knows about customer service.
Sometimes the inspectors can be a little gruff, or maybe too direct. Nate's so personable and honest, it's a refreshing change of pace.
They are also very thorough and cover top to bottom.
This inspection ran us a bit more than one in the past, but that's because we added chimney and sewer specialists to it, so all in all it worked out to be about average in cost.
Apparently they're very responsive as well, which is good because I have a few questions after digging into some details. Assuming the best and rounding up here based on prior communications.
I'd recommend them and will with for them again down the road. -
Nate was so awesome! He was very thorough and explained as much as he could to us in a way we understood. We had inspector Nick come out and do a inspection on a home before we purchased it. Nate was super quick to give us his contact information if we had any questions. And they were awesome when it came to referring us to outside contractors to fix things we had concerns about. Overall it was a great experience.

It was a tremendous experience, from scheduling to the execution of the inspection and all the moving parts that came along with it. Every one was prompt and courteous and it truly made my wife and I more comfortable going into the purchase of our home. We look forward to working with Nick and his team in the future and definitely recommending him to as many home buyers as we can. Thank you guys so much!

Inspector Nate was wonderful and informative. He was honest and to the point and I got the feeling that he genuinely cares and provided informed, unbiased feedback, backed buy expertise and they are a certified company. As a home buyer, one can never be too informed. Highly recommend this team.

Nate B was AWESOME! He came out to do our whole home inspection including a radon and termite inspection. This was our first home buying experience and Nate was very thorough. He took the time to explain everything to me totally and answered all of my questions along the way and not just at the end - which was really great. He gave us a debrief of his major concerns before he left and had the report to us the very next day (we had a late afternoon appointment). We also really appreciated having all of the photos in the report - it was super helpful.

I don't often give five stars to a business, but I give Nate and Inspector Nick double thumbs up. I am an out of state investor looking at a four unit building. The first inspection was scheduled on the Monday of the arctic freeze. I thought for sure Nate would reschedule, but he showed up. He was not able to get on the roof so he came back on Wed by that night I had the full inspection. It was thorough, pictures are usable and it was not a scare you don't buy report. It was balanced with major and minor issues. I have a checklist of things to fix as soon as we close, but will be going into this property with a very clear idea of my maintenance costs for the next couple of years. Thank you!

They are very good at home remodeling. They remodeled my kitchen and a month later, I was able to sell my home at a premium.

DO NOT USE!! So inspector Nicks company was used to inspect my home, they caused lots of damage to my home! WATCH OUT FOR RED SCREW DRIVERS!! I have been the real estate business for many years and after speaking to my fellow colleagues found out this is not isolated. DO NOT ALLOW ON YOUR PROPERTY! They cause damages to a home and also will purposely scare home owners so they get more inspections from them which costs both parties.
BUYERS BEWARE, they will offer discounts for subsequent home inspections after the first deal falls apart!!
So no person is perfect neither is a home, he will say this could happen, that could happen, doesn't mean it will!!
Saw a spider and put in a report "NOT AN EXPERT ON BUGS" but then said it was a "Poisonous spider" possible infestation!! If your not an expert how do you know??
They like to offer a PRE-Listing inspection but that's just a racket too!! I Wouldn't recommendOfficial response from representative 11.04.2019 22:17This is a seller of a house we inspected and he is upset about the unknown issues with his house becoming known. Our buyers trust us to find all wood rot on a house and report on it. We inspect and do not damage anything during inspections. We take a lot of photos and sometimes show excessive wood rot with screwdriver in picture for scale. The buyer was most happy with our inspection and their loan was not delayed, the buyers simply chose to have the seller address all of the areas of wood rot… -
It was a pleasure working with Nate. He was very insightful, direct, and honest. I would use him again for any inspection in the future.

Nick did a great job for us. Very thorough and informative. Felt he was completely honest and would use him again anytime!

My wife and I are having a custom home built and we are incurring some issues during the framing stage. I called Nick to ask him several questions and he suggested we meet at the job site so he could set eyes on the project so I could point out my concerns to him. The next day Nick met with me at the job site and not only substantiated my concerns but also pointed out several other issues which needed to be addressed by my builder. The information Nick provided was both informative and insightful. Nick took the time out of his busy schedule and did not ask for any form of compensation. I typically look to YELP and read the reviews before making a selection for any service provider based on their ratings. INSPECTORNICK.com Rates 5 STARS from my experience and I highly recommend Nick for your home inspection needs. Awesome job and keep up the good work!!
