Mike Bagley and Horizon did a great job on our front area hiding utility boxes. He came up with a unique design rather than just throwing some grasses around them. Will use again for area around house. Thank you!

Steve called to confirm time of arrival night before. Called him back he answered at 5:30 pm. Told him if he could make it earlier I would be there. Earlier the better. He was there 20 to 30 minutes early helped me out a lot. ZSteve was extremely knowledgeable evaluated each station all heads did a bit of work on a couple of stations adjusted some heads. All in record time. Best service I have had from any supplier in months. Invoice received couple hours later via email. Easy to complete accurate no surprises. He is a keeper. Nice Job….

Horizon damaged our landscape edging two years in a row and did a shoddy job of repairing the damage. I had to supervise the crew they sent out this year to fix last years work and keep them from taking shortcuts. Management never wants to face the customer and ensure quality work is done to repair their mistakes. If we were not forced to use their services as part of our HOA I would fire them today. Poor company with poor management.

I had an invasion of Bermuda grass in my fescue lawn. Horizon sprayed a topical to kill the Bermuda and then also replace the affected area with new sod. The guys did an awesome job and it looks great.

I would give 10 stars if I could. This company provides mowing and snow removal for our entire neighborhood. The people on the crews are very respectful of everyone and work very hard to ensure we are happy. This is a very hardworking group of people. Our contact (Tom) at Horizon deserves 10 stars as well. His communication is immediate and he quickly resolves any issues we may have, no matter how small. This is a great company.

Mike with Horizon was great to work with. He came over and priced out landscaping for my yard. He then sent me a mock up and gave me a great price. When they came over to do the work, they were fast and efficient. The work looked exactly like the mock up. I’m very pleased and would recommend them for any and all landscaping and yard work.

We have worked with Horizon for the past 3 1/2 years. They have done some great work with irrigation, landscape and hardscapes. Their employees are knowledgeable, hard working and they care about each project. It is a pleasure to work with a group of people that are dedicated to making all of the projects work and look great!

I have had GEM Lawns do multiple projects at my home, from building retaining walls, to tree trimming and weekly mowings. They are prompt, polite and fair priced. They are also quick to respond to messages. Would highly recommend GEM Lawns!

GEM Lawn and Keith has been great to work with. They do what they say they will and keep everything looking nice and neat. I've never met them in person but I don't have to - they're that easy to work with! They respond to texts and have easy online payments - it doesnt get better than that!

Kyle is so great I actually hesitate to leave this review for fear everyone else will find out and he won’t have time for me, haha. I hired and fired 3 companies before finding him (Brummell, rose hill, & KC metro). I had actually resigned myself to buying a lawn mower and somehow fitting it into my schedule to do myself after we got settled into the house. Having also used other companies while living in Brookside I was no stranger to hiring this out. But I have to tell you, Kyle does such an amazingly exceptional job that I will never again buy a lawn mower. He has proven to me it requires a skill I simply don’t have and I will never do it as good as him. Which based off my previous experience I didn’t think was possible - how hard could it be. But every time he comes my husband and I just look out at the yard and say, damn he did such a good job. And he’s so efficient too. Additionally, his pricing is extremely competitive, he’s very responsive, his invoicing system is very simple .... just all around have nothing but great things to say about him. We started using him for lawn applications this year and plan to have him install landscape rocks for us as well. I’d pretty much hire him to do anything he says he can do. His work ethic and pride in his work is definitely a rarity.
