Several years ago in the fall we had an incident where Donaldson Heating & Air Conditioning had come to the house to check out our furnace and air conditioner for our twice a year check. He had found where there was a hole in the heat exchanger that was causing Carbon Monoxide gas was leaking throughout the house and could have killed us if we had started up the furnace. Through his diligence of trouble shooting, he had found out that there was still a warranty on our existing furnace and found the part that we needed and replaced it. If it wasn’t for him being thorough and checking everything who knows what would have happened. This company very well could have charged us for a brand-new furnace which they did not do and they only charged me for the labor because the part was covered under warranty. I will continue to do business Donaldson’s and share them with everyone I know’ cause this is the type of company everyone would want to go to bat for them. I personally know Jim Donaldson the owner of Donaldson Heating & Air Conditioning and know he is an outstanding and honest man and hires great technicians.
Every year I buy the package where they come out and check the furnace in the fall or winter and the air conditioner in the spring just to make sure there are no issues like before.

Donaldson has been servicing my HVAC for years. They are always on time, courteous, professional, and clean up after themselves. The cost is reasonable and worth the peace of mind knowing that the HVAC is ready for another season.

Had our spring checkup and also got a small issue with our furnace resolved. Jeff and Alex explained along the way and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. Donaldson installed our furnace and air conditioner back in 2012 and use them for bi-annual inspections. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable crew that I trust every time.

We had a wonderful experience with Donaldson! Our A/C compressor went out and they were courteous in explaining our options for replacement. We eventually opted to replace both our A/C and furnace even though they were willing to just replace the A/C. The deal they offered was better than another one we got from another vendor.
I liked how they gave us three options to choose from and made it easy to compare them. They were on time to all of their appointments and they did the install all in less than a day. It looks so much nicer, and more importantly works so well!
They also were very helpful in preparing the paperwork for us to get a rebate from Evergy for the more efficient equipment. I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been a client of Donaldson's for several years. They have always gone above and beyond in customer service but multiplied that this past weekend when our furnace was not functioning properly in 5 degree weather. Hoffman Heating and Cooling came on a Sunday when our air conditioner quit. They were prompt and fixed the issue. We had them back later that week to do other work. They were quick and cleaned up after the work was done. Would recommend them.

Our HVAC system started acting up, and while Dr. YouTube provided a temporary fix, the dropping temperature pushed us to search for a professional. Hoffman’s stood out with excellent reviews, so we gave them a call. Their customer service was outstanding—walking us through potential issues over the phone to help us avoid unnecessary costs. I can’t say enough about their service; it felt like having a Chick-fil-A experience in the HVAC world!

Dustin was the only one to respond to my inquiry late on a Saturday. We lost AC when it was 95+ degrees outside. He responded to my request for service within 15 minutes and then made time later that evening to come by our house and get us back up and running…after having been out with his family for dinner. He went well above and beyond the call of duty and it was the best service I’ve had in a long time.

He didn’t have the exact parts on hand to replace the failed part but he made an alternate solution to get us cooled back down and then did a great job communicating when he would have the actual part and when his crew could get it installed.

Because of his approach to running a business and really caring about his clients, he will get all of our HVAC-related business going forward. I highly recommend Hoffman to anyone needing HVAC help and will direct all my family and friends to use Hoffman.

Dustin and his crew were great. Our AC went out on a Friday during the hottest part of summer and Hoffman was recommended by a friend of ours so we called. By Monday we had a new AC system and $4000 less than on of the big local corporate companies I won’t name. There was one small issue and Dustin came right out to correct it. Great service, quick, good pricing. I would recommend and use again.

Dustin and the Hoffman team were great! They came out to give me a second opinion after I received a very high repair quote from another company. The Hoffman guys were extremely friendly, efficient, and they got the job done for roughly half the originally quoted price. I will definitely be using them for all my HVAC needs moving forward.
