I'm building a new home and Derek walked me through how best to prepare the space I plan to put solar panels in the future. During construction Derek's team ran conduit for me so it should be very quick and easy to add the panels. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and responsive.

Solar Energy Services was totally amazing! They took the time to not only educate us, but work with us to find out what our true needs were. Derek was patient and very kind about answering all of our questions. His crew was very professional, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. This is a company that prides themselves in customer service and are not out to just make a buck and see how many solar panels one could slap on a house. They took the time to meet our true need. We had an amazing experience with our solar decision and Installation. Derek was helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The work was done in a timely manner, professionally and with great communication throughout the process. We would definitely recommend him and his company.

First, his bid included all the engineering, all the interface/permit process, etc. with the County agency and the local electric utility company. Derek and his staff were professional, tidy, polite, kind and very thorough. Great attention to detail. I was impressed with the level of electrical knowledge and experience. Ours was a complicated job as we had a Sol-Ark inverter with battery back up installed in addition to the solar panels. Ours is an older house so there were a few unexpected issues with our house electrical. His attention to those were seemless and resolved quickly and appropriately. He gave us a step by step tutorial on the system twice! After ALL of that, we were speechless when as he prepared to leave, he said, "If anything comes up that you don't know how to deal with..give me a call". Ground mount system installed Nov, 2021...Definitely 5 stars. Derek has a world of technical expertise and quickly proved himself an honorable business guy. My system was well designed, used high quality materials, and the installation guys were really sharp. The company managed all the permits and paperwork. Once started, it took about a week of construction then, about three more weeks to complete inspections and get going. The new system looks great and has performed better than I expected through the winter.

Very pleased with our solar installation. Our experience with Solar Energy Services has been a good one including service after the install. Service after the install was my biggest concern when selecting the company to do the install. Derek has always been available over the years after the install for any/all questions/issues that came up.

Derek installed service to my new barrel sauna. He was courteous, on time, efficient, detailed and cleaned up after he was done! You can’t ask much more from a Master Electrician’s services.

This company was referred to me because he deals with solar and is not just an electrician . I called him and he was on vacation in Arizona, we had no power and when it came back on we still had no power .the transfer switch was not working . This kind gentleman went out of his way that night (it was 830 to 900 pm) to help us and we sent him photos of what the set up was at our home . He instructed us on how to solve the problem from clear down in Arizona. We had power that night . He was a godsend. Thank you very much for all your help . I would recommend anyone with electricity or solar issues to give this company a call first .

Both my farm and my parents farm have solar. Derek has serviced everything from a 78 panel array on my parents barn to a 39 panel array on my barn to a little solar panel that runs my gate. He is very professional, very thorough. Our systems are a little bit older systems, so when the inverter company couldn’t come up with any solution, besides replacing the inverter, because the warranty was out, Derek did the research to find out what the specific part was that we needed on an older inverter and saved us the cost of a new inverter.. He definitely goes above and beyond. Highly recommend this company!
