I'd like to start off by saying if you'd like a good looking fence built fast at a reasonable price, I wouldn't write off Elite. My fence looks great and the builders did a good job. Communication from the company 2 stars. The automated responses were the easiest parts. Before working with this company I would recommend knowing exactly what you want and having your property lines marked and flagged (not just a paper survey), and brush and fence removal done separately through a different company despite them saying they provide the service through a 3rd party. Details of that experience below:

I first met with Leon he was kind, knowledgeable and quick. We instantly chose elite after meeting with him because of his personality. We had already met with a few other companies but loved how professional and friendly Leon was. I could tell why Elite had such good reviews!

When he came by I explained we would like part our current fence removed and he strongly advised against it because of the additional cost of fence and brush removal (he wasn't joking), but that is what we wanted, so I asked if he could send us a quote with and without that fence removal to compare pricing. Upon receiving the bid, he did not include the fence/brush removal and the specs I had requested on height were incorrect. We went back and forth on bids probably 3 times before I emailed customer service to ask to work with someone else, as I felt like the attention was not there and I was not getting the bid I was needing. I of course was kind about Leon, expecting he was having a difficult week. Leon ended up calling me and we worked it out and I got the bid I needed and signed the deal. I ended up making a change between then and the build which I'm sure made me even more annoying :)

By the week the fence was supposed to go in I was told I would meet with the project manager, nick, to discuss specifics of the build. This is when I was told we could discuss property lines, etc. To this day I have never met or spoke to Nick. The people I did meet with for the fence build were wonderful, although I only spoke to one person briefly and never got a "all done, hope you like it!" Or goodbye.

The fence and brush removal company that works with elite were not told all details of where brush removal needed to be done, so I specified and so they charged additional for that so I was told. But also, they didn't clean up enough of the brush, as the builders seemed irritated with me that they had to do additional brush clean up, which I was told I would be charged for. I don't know that they knew I did the brush and fence removal through elites third party. Mind you I had already done brush removal myself, then paid way too much for terrible brush removal before I even met with elite, no fault of there's, but I am over it at this point. In the end, I was charged $2,300 for 46 feet of fence and brush removal from Elite total, and they left a giant pile inside the yard which I had to turn around and pay another company to remove. They also trimmed the fence over a pile of brush which I removed and now there is a gap :)

The first day of the build when they were lining posts they had a question about the property lines, which I'm not exactly sure of, which is why I sent the company the land survey beforehand and asked to talk to someone (nick) ahead of time. He was so confused but they got it done. I guess hopefully on my property??? I still don't even know.

My garden entrance gate was supposed to be cut to have a droop at the top, which Leon put in the bid, but was also not done.

Anyways. The fence is great and looks great, I don't regret getting it. but I recommend knowing exactly what you want beforehand and don't make the quote guy mad because I feel slightly retaliated against. It seemed way messier than it needed to be. I knew nothing about fences beforehand so some help and recommendations would've been really nice but I ended up having to learn about everything so I could get this bid right. 3 stars for communication/customer service regarding the bid and build day. 5 stars for the build and customer service of the builder. Brianna on the phone was also wonderful and as helpful as possible. But this was my first big home purchase and when you're spending this kind of money I totally expect a little better service, especially why I am super clear and thorough as you can tell.

Good workmanship and attention to detail. Scheduling error at first, it was quickly handled and fixed. Would use again for other projects.

Enjoyed our experience with Elite. Steve came out to do our quote on Friday, March 27th. He measured, drew up a sketch and answered all of our questions about wood, tear out and payment. Never was he pushy or did we feel like he was in a rush. Like most, we sought out additional quotes from other reputable companies, but ultimately we chose Elite for a couple of simple reasons:

1) Price - while they weren't the lowest bid, they were the reasonable for the six foot privacy fence and tear out we needed.

2) Genesis Lawn - Elite often uses a third party company to do tear out and clean up of existing fences/debris. They are a husband and wife team that does an immaculate job. They began work at 8a and stayed until 7p when the job was done. They use a ditch witch to pull out fence posts and such so be prepared for your yard to get a little messy during the process, especially if it's raining and/or muddy. We will definitely use them again for additional lawn and landscaping needs.

3) Communication - Each time we called, whether it was Steve's cell or the office we received a quick response, even if we had to leave a message for call back. We were confused about who was supposed to reach out to Genesis to sync up the tear out, but Steve and team took care of getting it ironed out. We also decided to add an additional gate about two weeks prior to install, we spoke to Kevin who documented our request. When I called back to get the final total for the work, Christina was aware of the change without me even having to mention it. The three man crew, headed by Nick, that installed the fence were also pleasant and took the time to walk the property at the beginning of the job, before they set the posts and at the end of the job to ensure everything was placed perfectly.

I've had elite build fences at 3 houses. I wouldn't use anyone else! You can't go wrong when you use Elite

We have two golden retrievers and my backyard faces a busy road. I received three bids on our fence and at the end, my wife and I decided to go with Elite. Elite's reputation is just that, "ELITE". Juan and Gab performed our install with precision. Both of these guys worked diligently to complete 500 linear ft + of fencing with various land elevation and in ground obstacles. They also installed perfectly aligned 10ft (two door) and 4ft (one door) gates. This was the cleanest, most precise work I have seen accomplished and I have worked with a great deal of contractors on a variety of projects.

If you want the job done right by folks that care, end your search here. To note, I had done my research on pricing, material quality, and even on the install process. Elite was fair on their bid price (within market standard), their materials are high quality, and their installers were a well oiled machine.

I have never put up a picket fence before. The fence that was here had to have been the original and literally was a play ground for squirrels to swing on the pickets! Elite took out ALL of the old fence, hauled it away and set the posts of the first day. Second day, we had rain...so a late start (I didn't think they would come at all) They did and FINISHED in 1/2 day, 224ft cedar with a 8ft double gate!!! I had one area in the ground that just made a bump that 'looked' odd. They worked it out and it is perfectly even. The gate is on a bad slope and at best difficult. I explained what I wanted and asked if they could do it! They did and it is fantastic. Those that know me know I can be critical of inferior workmanship.....but I was on the phone bragging to the office before they even left. Thank you thank you! It looks so good....

Elite just installed a medium sized ground level composite deck for us. We also needed approx 85 linear feet of chain link for our backyard. They provided quick free estimates, and in fact, reworked the fence estimate 3 or 4 times for us, until we decided how much of the existing fence we wanted to replace. They arrived on the install date on time and on the days expected; a crew of 3 installers here at all times. The work was done beautifully. I highly recommend this company whether you have a big or small project.

Our second experience with Elite Fence and Deck, as they had previously installed our fence. Our fence looks so good, that when we decided to put in a composite deck, we knew who to call.
They were very knowledgeable on designs and materials. Once we decided on what we wanted, they scheduled us for a four day installation., due to the removal of previous deck. The crew was always on time, professional, friendly and willing to answer any questions. They finished a day early and what a beautiful deck! It was better than we could have wished for!

Last week we had a black chain link fence installed on our property. We had called 2 other fencing companies. One of the others said our yard couldn't be fenced because of all the trees and gardens. The other company was a much more expensive option. After receiving a very reasonable quote, we chose Elite. They were on time and did a great job. They even installed some extra posts around the gates so our puppy cannot escape. There was one small area near the gate that was not quite right. We called the office and they fixed it the very next day at no extra charge. Excellent customer service, quality fence, and great prices. We couldn't be happier!

We bought a house that already had a metal fence installed by Elite less than two years previous. We wanted to expand the fenced in area so we called them since they had installed it. (We didn't get more bids) They came out and put the wrong size of fence in to expand it. So now we have both 3' & 4' spaced metal fence. We didn't know this until we had some other fencing companies come out to give us bids on expanding the other side of our yard. Both those companies noticed it. We also got a bid from Elite to do this second expansion however they were 4K more than both other companies!! These other companies weren't run out of a house or not legit companies. (Incase you are wondering bc of the price difference). They also quote us off what the other companies did as far as how many of our mental fence panels were reusable. The owner, Shawn, is impossible to reach and if you do reach him he is arrogant acting like he doesn't 'need' your business or money. The lady that answers the phone named Kat, acts the same way like it's no big deal. Our job was a almost 10k job. Sad part is we need several more properties done (rentals) and it's us costumers who keep this company going. We will never use or recommend Elite in any way. If you want your fence done correctly without a doubt and want to feel like your hard earned money is valued look elsewhere!!

Update- Shawn the owner has reached out to me apologizing and taking responsibility for dropping the ball. He said he hadn't seen this review so I must believe he genuinely felt bad. We are all human and can error. I still won't be using them again but I'm betting my experience was a rare one with this company as they have been around for quite sometime.

We tried to get estimates from 3 companies. Elite was the first to reply and had the best customer service. The other 2 didn't reply for over a week.
Fence is installed and we are more than satisfied.
We highly recommend them!

I have to agree 100% with the other reviewers. Elite Fence had the best price quote out of all the other fence companies I called. The fence looks excellent! They only took 2 days to complete the whole process.

Elite fence and deck completely blew my expectations away on our 300 linear foot, 4 foot, cedar fence.
Estimate:
The free quote process was by far the best with no 'sales' tactics. Just a dude coming over and quoting me exactly what I want. I had one design I wanted that was a flaw and he pointed it out and suggested a great solution. He was quick and thorough. I got quotes from 4 places, including materials to build this on my own. Elite was not the cheapest initially, but they were within $109 and were BY FAR the most professional and wasted no time of mine - which I appreciate because I am too busy to be 'sold' on things I don't want. I told them I wanted to use them but needed to punch as many penny's as I could and so they not only matched the cheapest price, but took another $50 off to make me happy.
Build quality:
This fence is only 2 weeks old but I need to say they took amazing care of my yard and even PUT THE EXCAVATED DIRT AROUND MY FOUNDATION! Who does that!? That's an amazing amount of taking 'extra care' of the customer. My neighbor used a BIG competitor and they ruined his yard and argued fixing it. I could not even tell they were here. Absolutely amazing. The fence looks better than my neighbors who used the biggest company around here, too.
All in all, I only spent $1000 more having elite fence do it instead of doing it myself. WELL WORTH THE COST!
Conclusion: I don't know anyone who works here and I still got the best service (updates from the job site and a quick quote and great email communication). I would use these guys again 100% of the time and I look forward to them quoting a price on a new deck next spring. 100% recommended.
