I contacted Eric because I have a Boiler system and finding someone to service it is difficult. Another company took advantage of me so I was trying to find a replacement. I am a very happy customer. Eric fixed my problem and I am confident that going forward I have someone who will maintain my system properly without trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. My system now is back to working properly and I am very happy 😁

I highly recommend ESR Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration. We have had the pleasure of using Eric for the last 2 years. He has taken care of our HVAC systems and Radiant heat . He installed our new radiant heat boiler and is extremely knowledgeable about all of these systems. Eric is responsive and his fees are very reasonable. He is honest about what the issue is and does not try to upsell product or service. GREAT COMPANY!

Eric was very quick to identify and resolve my A/C issues after having to spend a day and a half melting in my home at 85 degrees! He’s very personable and easy to talk to for HVAC questions and general conversation. I plan on keeping him on my list for future HVAC work!

Would highly recommend ESR Heating, Cooling & Refrigeration! Eric was great to work with. Our AC stopped putting out cold air and Eric came out within a day of calling. He quickly was able to find the leak and bad coil and got it replaced within a week. Eric was very informative and honest with pricing and the repair.

Our AC stopped working late in the day and we were sure we wouldn’t be able to have anyone come by till the next day but we got hold of Eric and he came by within 1 hour and had our AC up and running in less than 30 minutes. He explained everything he was doing step by step and didn’t up-charge us for an after-hours call. He is now our go-to HVAC guy. Highly recommend.

Our air conditioner went out on Saturday morning. We got a recommendation from a fellow HVAC technician to call ESR. We contacted ESR and Eric was out in a couple hours to check our unit. We needed a new one. Eric worked with us to get a new unit installed. He had it up and running by Wednesday. His customer service is excellent and great to work with. I would recommend him to anyone that needs HVAC repairs.

We replaced three toilets and they (Craig and Eric) did a great job and cleaned everything up when they were done. Their price was very good.

Our AC went out late Thursday afternoon. I called ESR Heating and Cooling Friday morning around 11:30. The first reason why I called them was because it was Veteran owned, as I too, am a Veteran. The second reason was it was a local business. The third was because of all the recommendations I've seen on "Peculiar City Limits: FB page, "Peculiar Outside City Limits" FB page, as well as a 54/54 5-star rating here on Google. When I made the call, it was answered by Eric, the owner. After explaining our situation, he set up an appointment for between 1-3 PM the same day. He texted me twice enroute...once when he left his previous appointment, and once when he was 5 minutes out. Upon arrival, he asked a short series of questions and went right to work. He found that his first suspicion was correct, which was a blown low-voltage furnace fuse. He didn't just replace said fuse and rush off to the next appointment, but instead he took the time to investigate into what caused the fuse to blow in order to prevent it from happening again. After running some electrical tests, he discovered some exposed low voltage wires out at the AC unit, as well as a bad contactor. He replaced the wiring and contactor and ran some more tests to ensure that those were indeed the only causes. Once he confirmed that the AC was operating properly, he cleaned the coils before he left. He sent me a text with a link that took me to the invoice which I could conveniently pay online. The total cost was extremely reasonable! He is a one-man show...he handles everything from start to finish. He never tried to upsell me, and he explained everything to me as he went along. He simply found the problem(s), fixed them, and ensured the same problems wouldn't happen again. The part came with a 1-year warranty, and the labor with a 90-day one. He was very professional and thorough. He even passed our Yorkie girl test, which is no easy feat! I highly recommend Eric for your Heating, AC, and refrigeration needs, as I will definitely use him from here on out, as well as for any plumbing and electrical. He was amazing! Called this morning as our heater went out over night and he was here by the afternoon. He kept in contact and let us know his ETA and when he was on his way. For our heater went back on quick and was very friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend!

I noticed some water leakage out of the bottom of our hvac when the heat was running. I found the general issue and decided I didn't want to mess with it. Called Eric for the first time and had him come out. Got the estimate for that work and some other hvac projects on my list and the price was extremely reasonable. Got on the schedule and ended up with a healthy hvac system again with new humidifier and upgraded drainage piping in a couple of hours. I also got my other unit inspected and a new humidifier installed on it and both systems are cleared for another KC winter. I've been searching for reasonable experienced HVAC connections since we moved here 4 years ago. Eric is now my first call for anything within his skillset. In addition to the great work, he was great to speak with during the job as well. Highly recommend!

Eric came through for us when our AC unit went out in the summer. Eric came out same day and took the time to diagnose our system and investigate anything it could be without going straight to upselling you a new system. During the process he informed and educated me on what he was doing and what he was observing to be wrong with our system. Due to repair costs and age of our system, we opted to get a new system. Eric spec'd great equipment for a fair price and him and his assistant Craig did quality work during the install. We are very happy with our new system!

I have used Balance point for annual maintenance and check ups for the last two years. Our 23 year old AC Condenser finally died, and our 32 year old water heater wasn't heating. We had multiple companies provide bids with various HVAC manufacturers, and Balance Points were the most reasonable with two solid manufacturers to choose from, and multiple options of furnace and AC specs. I had a multitude of questions after all the bids, and spoke repeatedly with folks at Balance Point, and the owner, Jason, came out to personally review and discuss options. The installation was quick and flawless, and so far we have been pleased completely. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately that aging system was no longer reasonable to repair. Balance point quickly give me a quote that was reasonably priced and had the whole system installed within a few days. Their texts and their salesman have always been professional and treated with respect.
