I will give Bliss Brothers five stars because overall we are satisfied with the installation. I am still not 100% in agreement with the 1.3-1.4 ratio of DC to AC loading, but we will work through that as we see if we hit the target yearly power generation.

We have 400w x 25 panels installed for 10.125 kW of power under ideal conditions. We have an 7.7kW SMA inverter that provides the ability to monitor the power generation and maintains historical data in the cloud. This is important so we can compare with Liberty for net-metering.

Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful, but at times they were a bit slow or lacking on communication. We also had to have them come back to replace some components as the wrong components had been installed with the panels (wrong shutdown units). But, they did the replacement within about a week and we were on our way to inspection and commissioning after that.

Also, Kevin Bliss did reach out personally to discuss my concerns over the 1.3-1.4 DC to AC power ratio and we agreed we would wait and see if we hit the contract target before making any changes to the inverter size.

The install is very clean looking, no wires hanging loose, no leaking, no apparent movement of the panels (we had a huge storm roll in after the install was complete) and we are generating as much power as the inverter can handle a couple hours a day even in November.

And, the best part of it all, they were able to get us into the schedule at least a full month ahead of our original date, so we won't miss out on the tax incentive!

If I had it to do over again, I would have asked that the inverter be placed in the garage so it would be more convenient to hook up to my energy monitoring system (Emporia).

Their team being knowledgeable of what is best for the roof and the solar panels helped a lot with my peace of mind. I would highly recommend their company.

They were prompt on getting the install underway and complete. The whole process from acceptance to install was very quick. Even though the rain put our project in a time crunch, they installed the whole thing and hooked it up in 2 days!
The only reason I did not put 5 stars is because they did leave some deep ruts in my yard and did not attempt to make it look how it did before. There is always room for improvement.
All in all, Bliss Brothers did a great job! Thank you!

Edit: I changed the review to 5 stars because I was offered a settlement of $200 for any seeding and/or labor costs I may need to fix said ruts in my yard. Thanks again, Bliss Brothers!
