It was a pleasure to work with the folks at Frisella. From the initial planning to the final cleanup at the project site they one of the most attentive and professional group I have ever worked with. I recommend them to my friends and will use them in future projects.

Severe damage by deer. Wish I would have instructed Frisella to plant boxwoods instead of letting them choose what to plant. I did like Pete. I view him as being highly competent, but he has very little time to spend on the job. Supervision is minimal.

Frisella's did a great job with designing a new landscape plan that really compliments our new house. The crew that installed it were professional and did a terrific job. I would use them again!

We have used Frisella Landscape Group over the last 20 years on 3 major landscaping projects. Tony Frisella and his organization are very professional and patient with you, even when your not quite sure of exactly what you want. Their design group is easy to work with and their goal is to make you happy..... not them.

The staff, design group and landscapers are all dedicated to making you happy with the outcome. Their attention to detail is second to none. As an example, I have used many different mulching services and have not noticed much difference. I started using them for my mulch and noticed an immediate difference. The quality of the mulch is better than I have experienced and lasts almost the entire year.

More importantly, their landscaping crew hand spreads the mulch deep under bushes, where most other services just merely haphazardly throw it around. Your yard looks pristine when they leave a project without any sign that any wotk was performed.

I am happy to recommend Frisella to anyone, as I am rarely satisfiend with most service oriented company's. In this day and age it's refeshing to see company's that care about your satisfaction. We are consistantly complimented on the look of our yard, which I take credit for, but owe it all to Frisella.

We've used Frisella Landscaping several times over the last several years as we expand the landscaping around our newly built house. We were astounded by the professional design work and the follow-up after installation. They definitely provide a perspective that you don't get from other companies.

Tony’s creative design of our patio and landscaping sold us on Frisella. He maximized the available space while building a beautiful outdoor living space for our family. He was willing to work with us to stay within budget. The dedicated installation crew was very talented and stayed on the project through completion.

Frisella Landscape Group is such a fabulous group of people to work with. We can't begin to say enough wonderful things about every department we encountered. There workmanship is impeccable and if something isn't right, they will most certainly make sure it is taken care of to your satisfaction. This is the second project we contracted with Frisella and, again, they didn't disappoint. They did our back yard a few years ago and now we had them do the front. My husband is a retired architect and he came up with the design and they followed it to a tee and made additions that made it even better. This is the second time we've worked with their wonderful designer, Paola Behner. We can't say enough wonderful things about her. She's a keeper!! We'd also like to send a shout out to Greg, the Project Manager, Jimmy Frisella, Courtney Swift and Megan Bennet. The landscape crew headed by Jesus are wonderful craftsmen and so conscientious, kind and thoughtful. We'd also like to give a special "thank you" to Robert Karleskint for doing such a wonderful job designing the lighting and the irrigation system. He's not only good at what he does but has the kindest of hearts. He, too, is another "keeper!" We'd also like to thank the owner, Tony Frisella, (I hope I remembered his first name properly) for stopping by to inspect the work that was done. You could tell he genuinely cares about the quality of work that is performed and his workers. You could tell they were all family and it showed by the professionalism, craftsmanship and kindness that was extended to us. Very knowledgable designers. You won't get "generic" landscaping unless that's what you want. Plans are very detailed and unique. I haven't had any warranty issues if a plant or tree dies. Landscape crews do an excellent job. If you want to set your home apart from the others...landscape is a great way to do it!

Frissella Landscaping Services has done excellent work on our property, a residential space with extensive gardens which had become overgrown. They cleaned off excess growth and rejuvenated many plantings which had become less vibrant. One good example is the yuccas, which I had just left to do as they pleased.

Well, they were getting bland and intertangled. The experts in the yard crew trimmed them back drastically, and now the are thriving and radiant.

The crew cleaned up ALL the debris, mulched the beds, and maintained them weed free throughout the year. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks.

Following the posting of our 1 star review of Frisella Landscape posted below, in which we shared our disappointment when we were not contacted by anyone from Frisella's Landscape Division, we were contacted by the owner, Tony Frisella.

Hectic schedules made us difficult to reach but Tony was persistent in his follow up efforts and we were finally able to meet to talk about our landscape needs.

We explained our disappointment after not receiving any response from the Landscape Department after three attempts to contact them over a period of several weeks.

We also explained that out disappointment was compounded as we had visited their huge nursery and beautiful retail store and those visits set a high expectation for the quality of work they could do for our landscaping project.

Tony apologized for the lack of response and explained what caused our requests to go unnoticed. He also shared his goal of expanding the landscape business by providing top quality work, standing behind their work and growing the business through customer referrals.

Tony looked at our yard and had several excellent ideas during this initial meeting for how Frisella could transform our yard. He also explained all steps from the initial contact through the completion on the project.

We shared with Tony that we have always felt the mark of all good businesses is not that they are always perfect i every customer interaction or their work but we judge them on how they respond and correct the errors that we all make.

We were very pleased with Tony's persistence i contacting us and his determination to do the right thing for us as customers.

We really enjoyed meeting and working with Tony a great deal and have no doubt about the excellent results Frisella could provide.

We had excellent service at the Frisella retail shop near Defiance. Based on the service we received at the retail store, we wanted Frisella’s landscape group to put together a master plan for landscaping our backyard to include doing the planting and all maintenance for our property.

We made three attempts to get someone from the landscape group to contact us to set up a time to meet and develop a master plan. We were extremely disappointed to never receive a call back from the landscape group.

Our first attempt at contacting them was through the retail garden center taking and passing our information to the landscape division. We waited about 10 days but we received no response. We then used the on-line form to request help building a plan and once again received no response. Our third attempt was a call directly to the landscape division. The woman we spoke to gave us the pricing for an initial consultation and pricing for a comprehensive landscape plan. She indicated we would be contacted in a few days by the landscape team to set a time for us to meet. That was over a month ago and we have not received a call from anyone at the landscape division.

We would have appreciated a phone call even if Frisella could not provide the service. To just not respond to a customer’s repeated requests is not a customer oriented approach we would have anticipated from a company like Frisella.

We could not be any happier with the work Tony and his crew completed this fall. Within a few days of his first visit to look at our project and talking with us, Tony came back with a detailed plan that not only would resolve our drainage/erosion problem, but also a design that would blend in with the natural area around our yard. When the work began, we were impressed with the crew, they were very pleasant, they wanted to make sure we were happy, and it was incredible to see the progress of work they accomplished each day considering the project detail and complexity, and they even made sure the area was cleaned up before leaving each day. Seeing this area of our yard transformed into what it is today is more than we could ever imagine, and we certainly look forward to continuing to work with Tony and crew.

We’ve shopped and have been serviced by several area landscape nurseries. Frisella’s Nursery is by far one of the most customer service oriented I’ve worked with. They have helped with landscape decisions in both our son’s new property and personal property issues at our 20 year old house. They planted and even replanted trees when we added a fence and were not sure we originally put them in the right place!

Even during the pandemic when crews were smaller, Tony Frisella personally came out with his crew to meet a tree-planting deadline.

They truly want their customers to be satisfied with their products and services.

Before choosing a landscape company I looked at the capabilities, areas of expertise and customer reviews of several landscape design firms and nurseries in the St. Louis market. It became clear that one stood out far above the rest in customer satisfaction and the resources and plant material to do what we wanted: Frisella.
From the first phone call through the completion this year of the first of several phases, I couldn't be more pleased. Justin V. is EXCEPTIONAL! He listened to my concerns and ideas, made suggestions and created a landscape design for our home along Clayton Rd. that is just beautiful. Luis and the installation crew were friendly, neat and tidy, and performed the work flawlessly. Every evening after the multi-day project things were cleaned up and equipment was stored out of the way. It truly has been a pleasure to work with Justin and Frisella. I look forward to the next phases of our project!

Although our experience was not completely without issues, there was one employee who went far above and beyond and I would be remiss if I did not mention Robert Karleskint. He was with us every single step of the way, making sure the product worked correctly and that we understood how to program it ourselves. If we had a question, he would act like we were the only customers he had to help and he would do it with a cheerful attitude and a smile. I cannot praise him highly enough for the job that he did for us!

Frisella is a great company to work with. I have attention to detail and Have fast response times. I’ve been a customers for the last seven years and I brought them with me to every location I’ve been associated with.

Frisella did an outstanding job on our major landscaping design and construction project. They have great designers that met with us to rework the front landscaping that was old and overgrown to come up with fun and unique plants. And we had to start from scratch in the back yard with a significant downhill slope. That was challenging.

Our project included hardscaping, rock walls, stone steps, decorative rock and drainage areas, numerous plantings, trees, ground cover and landscape lights. Now we are working on a maintenance plan.

Their employees are professional, knowledgeable and very hard working. And we met with the owner as well! From the top down they all really care about quality customer service. We are very happy with our new landscaping. Our home looks beautiful outside as well as inside. Thanks Frisella!!

Frisella Nursery completely transformed my landscaping. Justin designed a landscape plan that included my ideas and he recommended the perfect plantings and features to bring it to life.
