We had Solera install solar panels and a generator for us about 3 years ago. Although we had a few hiccups, they were always a phone call away and worked diligently to address and fix any concerns. This is absolutely a company I would feel comfortable referring and using again!

Chandler was very comfortable doing business with. He knows his product well, and never tried to oversell me. We figured out what we needed to benefit us best, and allowed us the time to decide. Most importantly, he listened to what I wanted and expected from my project and delivered!

Great service and support from sale to after completion! Respectful to the property during install! The install crew was very professional, and communicated any delays, like weather, before I had to ask. I'd have these guys do my next install without any second thoughts.

Very solid company. They say what they do and do what they say. All interactions with personnel across their business were always polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. They have been helpful, efficient, and timely on getting equipment and installing my whole house solar battery. There have been multiple follow ups to make sure I am happy with everything.

Dealing with Solera Energy was an amazing experience. It was the most amazing experience to work with Shawn Cox for my home solar needs, and he was first-rate. He answered all of my questions in depth over the phone, via text, or via email, so I wasn't concerned about any part of the process. I value that the process was worry-free from beginning to end and that I was constantly updated on the next stage and the anticipated time needed. As a salesman, Shawn is a valuable asset to the company as well as others, Will, Lori, and Carmen, with whom I worked during the process. With any purchase, I frequently have a lot of questions concerning the options and equipment that come with my system. Fantastic folks to collaborate with.

The installers did their jobs in a very professional manner. After showing up on time and politely answering my questions, Bryant and his crew started installing my solar equipment on that sweltering roof and attic—Bryant and his crew deserve a raise. After the installation was complete, they promptly cleaned every space completely. Fantastic work! Although it's not a deal breaker and the system still looks excellent and functions perfectly, I do wish the installers had covered the ends of the support brackets holding the panels in place to prevent tiny insects from making nests there. This would have also improved the system's aesthetic appeal—again, not a deal breaker, and the installers were still great!
In turn, Megan was a pleasure as well, keeping me informed about the Liberty electric timeline for concocting my meter.
Now that my system is all installed, I'm incredibly pleased with it, and I value Solera Solar's help in keeping me informed during the installation process. The net metering is going well after obtaining three months of bills from Liberty Utilities. For your solar needs, I do highly recommend Solera Solar.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Solera and have recommended to friends already. I had my solar panels installed last year, and unfortunately needed a new roof due to hail this year. The customer service was great and they made the process of removal and replacement very easy. They were quick to have people out to my house to do the work and communicated with me every step of the way. I'm impressed with the friendly and informative customer service, speed, and pricing. 5 stars absolutely deserved, and I hope other companies take note of Solera's priorities and great experience every step of the way.

Solera installed my solar unit approximately 9 mos ago. The experience was and still currently has surpassed my expectations! Open and upfront. Very detailed in explanation. Chris made me feel very comfortable. No upfront costs. Installation took about 1/2 a day.
System is awesome and is producing more than expected!

Was promised 93 percent offset from the previous year worth of power, according to the sales guy… ended up being 87.1, so in the end unwilling to do what was promised, or correct the error. Unless willing to invest much more into the system. We only needed another two panels installed to get the 93 percent, wanting us to spend another 23,000 dollars, on batteries,and then get the panels included in that price. Be prepared for a pitch, and do your research.

Additional: Salesperson said if production is below 93%, panel additions would be added to offset. We needed 4 more. We asked for 2 and offered to pay for the other 2. And also planned on buying batteries from the same company in the future, this offer was more than fair.

In other words, read the fine print because the sales pitch was not accurate.

The team at Solera went above and beyond. Their attention to detail was second to none and they are a service I highly recommend to anyone looking to install solar panels!

Choosing to get our solar through Solera was. GREAT decision! We had had a few companies stop by our house, give us their speil, and try to get us to say yes. We finally decided to ask around our neighborhood and that’s how we found Shawn Cox.

He came over and gave us all the information without making us feel like he was pushing. He said his part and let us make the final decision. We did it and I’m so glad! Especially since getting the letter that Liberty is increasing rates. Now, we don’t have to worry about that.

Everyone we’ve spoken to at Solera has been SO helpful. We ask a lot of questions and I’ve always gotten answers. They make themselves available to their customers and they’ve never left us hanging, waiting on answers.

I will recommend Solera to everyone I know!

Solera Energy is a great company to work with. They are trustworthy and very nice. Chris Owen is our agent and I highly recommend him. He answered all our questions and if he wasn't sure about an answer he found out right away. The installers were very nice and even cleaned up after themselves. So if you are looking for a good solar company I recommend them. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Johnathan Winking is top notch. The pride and time that he puts into his job is above all others. He was always available when I need him to any of my questions during the process of purchasing and the installation of my solar system. 2-3 years later I can still count on him. Thank you Jonathan. Solara installers were respectful, professional, and neat and tidy. They were very organized. My system has yet to be hooked up to the grid and I can’t wait to start seeing the sun making me money!! This has been a good partnership so far!

Edit: It’s been 14 months and here is what we learned. Don’t believe everything the sales rep tells you. I don’t blame him but I do believe he was misinformed on 2 items he told us. 1. You don’t have 3 years to pay the tax credit (1/3, 1/3, 1/3)…you have 18 months to pay the credit in full. We have not yet received the full tax credit, therefore our monthly payments will increase over $100/ month. 2. We were also told that if production falls below 93%, panels would be added to compensate. That was also incorrect. The correct number is 83%. We made the mistake of believing what we were told, that was our fault. When we expressed our concern, they chose not to “make it right”. Again, not the sales person fault, he probably just stated what he thought to be correct. Both pieces of information is very costly for us.

My husband and I have been searching months for a reputable solar company. And then we met Chris with Solera. He was up front and honest with us, very informative and always takes the time to answer our questions. He provided multiple options that made it easy for us to have a customized setup according to our needs and at the budget we wanted. For years we thought solar would be too expensive but not with Solera! We receive fantastic products and services at such a great price! I would and have recommended them to my loved ones.

We shopped around quite a bit and got half a dozen quotes. Solera was the best bang for the buck and also just felt like good trustworthy folks, which was refreshing after listening to numerous other companies trying to sell us on things that didn’t really add up. BJ Drew did an awesome job assessing our needs and putting together some options for us and was endlessly patient with the millions of questions I threw at him. Installation was just recently completed and they did a great job.
