We had to take down a tree in our back yard this spring, and I'd planned to rent a grinder and take care of the stump myself. However, a neighbor put me in contact with Terry, and it was actually less expensive than doing it myself.
Very professional, excellent work, and fair pricing. 11/10, wholeheartedly recommend working with him.

3 or so years ago Terry removed a huge ash tree stump and a couple of Yew stumps and since then we have used his services at our daughter's house. He is absolutely awesome. Last evening his two nephews helped us with a total different project and they were absolutely great. So impressed with how they seemed to anticipate what we needed doing. Terry is a great friend now

Terry is very professional, punctual and just a nice guy. He will give you three estimates so you can choose the one that works for you. I had two other come out and only received one estimate from each. His estimates were very reasonable and his stump removal and clean up were excellent. I contacted Terry for a huge stump in my backyard. I sent over an image and he gave me a very affordable quote and time he'd be able to do the service. He did such an amazing job you can't even tell something was there before. I'd highly recommend Terry for any of your stump needs.

417 Mowing was mowing the neighbor’s yard. I just got over Covid so I wasn’t feeling 100%. I asked Jared if he could mow for me, and his assistant jumped right on it. Mowed, weed-whacked and cleaned up. Nice folks too.

They showed up even faster than I expected for a last-minute request. They were very nice and friendly, did a great job, and I would recommend anytime! Excellent business--I couldn’t be more pleased.

The best mowing and landscaping business in the 417 area. The yard gets mowed at the same time every week weather permitting. The employees are always pleasant and they get the job done right the first time and in a timely manner. Will never use any other mowing companys in town again!!!

Great company, with great people!! My mower broke on me, and my yard needed mowed bad. Called up 417 Mowing and they got right back to me immediately. Only took them 45 mins to drive here and mow my entire yard!! It looks awesome!! I would highly recommend this company!

I’m always late getting around to doing reviews.. Anyway, my lawn mower was in serious need of a tune up.. I had raked up around 20 bags of leaves.. I called Shawn and asked for help.. he came out after his work day on a Friday and cut my grass for me..here’s where his company gets 10 stars.. I was telling him about my lawn mower and trying to figure out HOW I could get it in my small Kia for repairs. I also put oil in it not knowing that it only goes two dots up on the stick and I put the whole container in..who knew! Not me! He took my lawnmower home with him and sharpened the blades.. fixed my mistake and put a new filter in.. then dropped it off two days later.. What company do you know that goes above and beyond lawn service? Plus he took my bags of leaves away.. $2 each bag! A Service I didn’t know about.. Shawn goes the extra mile for customers... I’m not a regular customer, so how nice that he did all that for me! You couldn’t be in better hands! Thank you Shawn for helping me once again!
P.S. One more thing I’m adding.. I read all the reviews.. you one star people.. really.. you must need something to gripe about because your definitely not talking about 417!

Added to the schedule a day ago, mowed today. They definitely went above and beyond my expectations for the rental I just moved into that was overgrown. Got rid of everything I would’ve wanted without even asking them to. Quick and easy and would definitely recommend.

These guys are Professionals and are very passionate about what they do and are extremely fair on prices. They don't just mow and weed eat they do alot of landscaping too worth a call for all your yard needs they have tons of knowledge and happy to share and educate anyone things they are working on. After my own mower threw a belt, I called Shawn from 417 and just hoped he could mow my neighbors and my own yard before they got back from having their first child. Without hesitation, he replied he was around the corner and was mowing within minutes. He then offered to help look at my mower, and then loaded it up on his truck and took it in for service.
