Tree reviews in Springfield, Missouri

Responded and got us taken care of quickly after a storm broke a tree on our rental property. Gave us several options without pushing us to do more than necessary. Job was done well. Definitely recommend!

Justin and crew did a great job on my project. They came out to quote it quickly, came when they said they would to do the job and worked around my schedule. The two trimmed trees look good and the other tree they completely removed was cleaned up very neatly. Overall great job. Customer service was great.

Had a tree fall in my back yard. A1 Short & Tall tree service did an excellent job. They also tried up 4 other trees and ground 3 stumps. Outstanding work.

Living in a heavily wooded area, I’ve had to use several different tree removal companies through the years. Out of everyone who I’ve ever hired, there is nobody who does a better job then A1.

Many companies over promise and under deliver, but you can count on A1 to finish the job down to the last detail. They are always the most honest and straight forward professionals to deal with.

They are also very reasonable in price. If they aren’t the least expensive company you find, you will still be hard pressed to get better value.

Thank you A1 for being exceptional!

Justin was very communicative with what trees should be cut down and which ones only needed trimming. We had a tree that was a few inches from the house and he was able to get it completely removed without damaging the house. Justin seemed confident that he could remove it safely while I was a nervous wreck about it hitting the house. Definitely will call them again when I need them to check out a tree for me.

Justin is by far the best! I had him cut a tree down 4 years ago and again recently. He trimmed multiple trees in our yard and cut a dead tree down previously. He is professional, quick, and efficient. I recommend him 100% satisfied and happy with our service.

Justin ground 2 stumps for me and did a great job. Cleaned the area very well. Did work for my elderly neighbor and she is very pleased with his work also. Definitely will be using him more in the future.

Justin has done multiple jobs at our home. From stump removal, tree trimming, to helping save multiple ash trees from ash bores with chemical treatment on the property. He’s always made everything look great and cleaned up wonderfully. He has impeccable climbing and rigging skills. Some of the trees we had to have trimmed were hanging over our shop. Not a limb fell on the shop and there was zero damage to any buildings or our yard. We will always use him in the future and recommend him to everyone!

Justin with A1 tree services in Springfield has already done 2 projects at my house. I keep using them because they are the best in the area. If you're looking for quick, professional tree removal services in Springfield or 417 area, give them a call, you won't regret it. Thanks again for everything Justin -

Highly recommend. They were quick to get out and give me an estimate. I felt like they were fair priced, and upon me giving them approval to get the job done at one of our rental properties, they were out there in a very timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves and even came to me to pick up a final check so that I didn’t have to worry about getting it to them.

Justin did a great job grinding a couple of stumps and trimming 3 trees. Got done in one day. Cleans up all the limbs and even cleaned up the street. He's in high demand but worth the wait for sure. Thank you for the hard work!

Had a tree fall on our house and Justin and his team got it down safely. They were great to work with. Great communication. Would recommend to anyone.

Great service! They are quick and skilled in the tree cutting service. I highly recommend A1 Short & Tall Tree Service!

Justin did an amazing job at our house. He came out and trimmed 5 trees and cut one down that has dead. When he was done, the yard and roof were cleaner than they were when he started. He racked up all the little branches and chipped the big branches. I would recommend him every day of the week. 5+ STARS

Justin and the crew did an awesome job getting rid of a pear tree in our yard. He's basically a tree ninja - grab a beverage and watch him go!

Would not recommend this company at all. Their own neighbors needed their help after the June 29th storm, and they wouldn't return the neighbor's repeated phone calls. As well, the day that another crew showed up to remove a very large tree from their neighbor's house, the owner of this company took pics and proceeded to make disparaging and snarky comments about this other crew's methods. Instead of helping a neighbor, they decided to make fun and roast the company who did show up to offer help. No thank you!

Justin and the crew always do an amazing job. Their prices have always been fair and reasonable. I have had them servicing my home for over eight years; they leave the area raked and cleaned up. I cannot say enough good things about them. Keep up the good work, Justin.

I have used Justin several times and each time they have done a great job. The fairness of the pricing and quality of work makes A1 short and tall a recommendation in my book.

Justin and Angela and crew did a wonderful job for us. we had 5 huge trees come down in the storm that blew through several months ago. Since the trees didn’t damage any buildings, they provided service to others with damage first. when they got to us, they were very professional and moved the logs where we wanted and chipped everything else. cleaning up very well. will use again and have been recommending to everyone.

We had a large pine tree snap and fall on our house. Our neighbors had just used A1 Short and Tall Tree Services and spoke highly of their services, so we got their information and Justin showed up right away for the free estimate. Our insurance saw that his service for tree and debris removal was affordable and so he came out the very next day and got to work. We appreciated the efficiency, hard work, and kindness of Justin during a stressful time for us. We highly recommend.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. So professional. They took such great care with our property and roof. Then they spotted another hanging limb that was ready to come down and took care of that for us too! Just fantastic work!
