Insulation Contractor reviews in St. Louis, Missouri

Our house a 2 1/2 story (all roof except first floor), built in the late 1800s. Each summer, heat got trapped in the roof and attic, making the upper floors impossible to cool down even with two constantly running whole house a/c units. I called several insulation companies last winter and Koala was by far the most responsive. Koala added a significant amount of new insulation to the attic floor (stopping the conditioned air from being pulled into it), a very strong solar powered attic roof vent with a thermostat, and also insulated our attic access panel. We were able to tell the difference this year as soon as the outdoor temp started to rise. Today it's 90 degrees outside and the 2nd floor - where we sleep - is at least 5 degrees cooler than it was last summer with the same outdoor temperature. The Koala sales rep was informative without being pushy or trying to oversell, the installers showed up on time and were both hard working and friendly, and the price was very fair. We even qualify for a federal tax credit! Although I haven't yet received a summer electric bill, I think we'll recover the cost fairly quickly. Even without any utility savings, it was well worth the price. Highly recommend!

April 3rd 10:00 AM Kola arrived at the promised time and installed 16" of blown in insulation in my attic. Time on site a little over an hour.

Shortly after leaving I revived an email billing.

They accept credit card's so I paid with a credit card. I was provided with paid confirmation.
In a additional email they provided a Lean Waver for materials & labor.

We had a great experience with this company, who added cellulose insulation to our attic when a home inspection found it lacking in some areas. They were very courteous and did a good job, and their price was reasonable. We have a child with health issues and appreciated that they masked in our home upon request. Would recommend!

Just had Koala update and improve my attic insulation along with added garage; which was previously un-insulated. Everything from initial contact to completion of work was as described and completed ahead of schedule. Nice to finally see good communication and reliable service. Showed up right on schedule, received text of their anticipated arrival, completed work with timeline, and cleaned up residual on the ground.
I've been working with multiple contractors lately regarding other work around my home and you know good service when you see it. I highly recommend!!!!

Jill and Jennifer were great to coordinate with. Mike, Keenan and Joe installed batt insulation in our basement and blow-in in our attic. They were very professional and completed the job quickly and cleaned everything after.

Koala installed a solar vent fan in the attic and had a roofer come out. He was equally as quick and courteous.

I'd absolutely recommend using koala.
