Had a move in clean and it was average. I had to go over multiple areas myself. Maybe they are good for regular daily cleaning but not for deep high quality clean. If you need a true deep clean might not be the right group.

We used this cleaner for about 6 months. They were consistently late or no-showed. On one occasion food was eaten out of our pantry without asking. If they are dumb enough to steal food who knows what else they would steal. They also rarley stayed for the amount of time we paid for. We recently asked why they were not staying for the time paid and they ended our service over text message. We were planning on cancelling anyway but what kind of company ends a reoccurring service over text. Terrible customer service.

The deep cleaning that Marcela’s Cleaning did on my newly purchased home was great. I was able to move in knowing that was a big job that I didn’t have to do.

I received this company's information from a friend. They came out for a quote. I was told they would schedule me on Mondays due to having a crew near our house. It would be one of her best crews cleaning.
Monday comes and they did not arrive at the scheduled time. I waited 1/2 an hour. No call or text. I had to leave to get lunch for my kids. I text the number that confirmed my time the day before stating they were late and I had to leave but would be back asap. I get a call from the owner as I'm in line for food that they were at my house to get in. I told her again that they were over half an hour late and I had to get food for my kids and would be back in 20 min. She said it was a far drive for them.
I get back to my house in 15 min not the 20 I thought it would take and ¹they pulled away as they see me pulling into my driveway. I get a text from the scheduler Erin stating they will reschedule they couldn't wait any longer. I called and explained to her what had happened and that I find it really disrespectful they saw me pulling in and took off. I was back within 15 min of our phone call and after all they were the ones that were over half an hour late!
The owner then text my friend that recommended them and said it wasn't going to work out because of a scheduling issue and the drive was too far. She never even called me.. If she knew the drive was too far why did she drive all the way to my house for a quote then agree to clean weekly? Why did she say she had a crew out here at that time? Why was there no communication that they would be late? This company is unprofessional, disrespectful, and dishonest. Very disappointing.

Have used and loved Marcela's Cleaning Service since 2012 across four different homes we've lived in (small condos). I interviewed several options when we first moved to StL and Marcela stood out for her knowledge of professional cleaning techniques and after years of living in Texas and abroad where I used to directly hire housekeepers individually (all of whom we loved dearly), I have also come to appreciate the ease of having a service that is as reliable and professional as Marcela's. I no longer have to worry about having cash on hand to pay, the crew is in and out quickly as they are three people working together very efficiently, and I no longer have to stock supplies or equipment and they are available every week I chose to hire them during the year. The teams are stable, 100& reliable and honest. Also I appreciate that in addition to the routine bi-weekly deep clean (bathrooms, floors, kitchen etc.) they keep track on their own and over time work in deep spot cleaning of special areas, e.g. pendant light fixtures, tub and tile grout etc. Highly highly recommend and also happy to support a very hard working local business owner and entrepreneur.
