Homeowner. When I need electrical work done I call Down to the Wire. They do a good job explaining your options, and are an honest business.

Down to the Wire did a fabulous job. I had a large remodel project as well as new construction in my basement. I appreciated them showing up exactly when I was scheduled and they stayed working on my job continuously until it was completed. They are professional and experts in their field and were able to problem solve and finish the work to my satisfaction. Can't recommend them enough!

Very nice to work with as they explained everything in detail and worked out a complicated wiring mess for us. There was little information to provide them to start except that nothing worked so they traced it out, located everything and wrote up a diagram for future use. Was so very helpful.

Great service. We purchased an older home with numerous electrical issues - cotton agreed to come out and inspect the place for us on short notice and we were able to get the work scheduled just a couple weeks after move in! The employees showed up at 7am on the dot and worked through the entire day - covering everything on the extensive list. They were very professional and made us feel totally comfortable. Highly recommend!

DTTW assisted me with replacing an electrical panel in my home. They were very responsive to all my questions about the process, obtained permits and performed all the work in a timely manner. And they did an excellent job as well. To top it off, they were quite reasonable compared to several of their competitors in the area. This company is excellent. They have the best prices and they were the only company out of 5 that I called that would help me because I live in a mobile home. Lyle Hyatt was the serviceman and electrician that came to work on my place. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. I am very happy with the work Lyle and the company did for me. They eliminated a fire hazard and ran all new lines from my master bedroom and bathroom to a new and open breaker socket in my panel while terminating the old breaker and it’s dangerous line. As a home inspector I refer my clients to Down to the Wire on a regular basis. I have even had them do work at my house. They are reliable and pricing is good. I would say you can’t go wrong going with them.

Efficient, exactly as bid, and friendly service. We had a new outlet from the attic space installed, replacement chandeliers, a new bathroom fan, and several other items. All went according to plan. Will use again.
