Plumber cracked our ceramic tile floor when replacing our toilet. Denies doing it.

someone came to fix some plumbing in my house which they did do but in the process of fixing it they broke another part of the plumbing and are claiming they can’t come back to fix it without me putting in another work order that id need to pay for, it makes no sense for me to pay them to fix something they broke in my own house. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed with the help and service this company is able to provide.

I could not recommend this company more highly. Not only did they schedule a same day appointment, they showed up exactly on time, fixed the problem right the first time, and did not charge too much. The technicians were professional and efficient.

Will definitely be using them again for plumbing needs.

We had a pipe burst in January late one evening. They were able to come out right away and get the issue fixed so we could get our water turned back on and were able to stay in our house that night. Jared was very professional and did a great job. We would definitely recommend!

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I received from this company. $130 service call to tell us they can’t troubleshoot a hot water heater issue, and we’d be better off buying a new one because they would simply have to replace parts until it started working. I called and expressed my concerns to Dawn and apparently they stand behind this “quality” of service. They say you live and learn, and this is one of those occasions I get to inform other people before they call this business and find themselves with a hefty bill and nothing to show for it.

Update: Hired a reputable company who was able to troubleshoot and identify the controller was bad. Cost of service and part - $200.

I can say that Rooter-Man sent out a plumber the same day and he fixed my leak with respect, excellent service, and quality. My plumbers name was Aaron and he was excellent and I would refer him to anyone. He was fair and did only what was needed and was great at explaining what was going on and what to watch for in the future. Just great service and I am very pleased with this company’s response time and excellent customer service. Great job Rooter-man and I will call on you in the future if I ever have a plumbing need. Thank you for sending someone out today. You saved my basement carpet. Well done!!!

Through my home warranty, Eric from Rooter-Man came out the next business day. He was knowledgeable and professional in providing service. He explained what the problem was and it got fixed.

Our experience with Rooter Man, assigned through a home warranty, was nothing short of frustrating. Without informing us, the technicians removed a faucet and then quoted an absurd $451 just to cap the pipes, with an additional $500+ to install a new faucet later—nearly $1,000 to get a single fixture on one sink!!

Feeling we were being taken advantage of, I consulted a licensed plumber that I know, who confirmed my suspicions. I ended up resolving the issue myself with a professional plumber for a fraction of the cost in less than an hour and a half.

The highlight of our evening, and the motivation for leaving this review, was discovering that these guys left the hot water on at the basement sink.

Will definitely be deterring any friend or family member from using this company. I gave one star because there is no option for zero stars.

I recently had the pleasure of using Rooter Man Plumbing for a persistent plumbing issue in my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service provided. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, the entire process was smooth and professional.

Grant, the technician assigned to my case, was outstanding. He arrived promptly and was well-prepared, exhibiting a high level of expertise and professionalism. Grant took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem, explaining each step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. His attention to detail and commitment to solving the issue efficiently were truly impressive.

What stood out the most was Grant's courteous and respectful demeanor. He treated my home with care, ensuring that his work area was clean and tidy both during and after the job. Grant's friendly attitude and willingness to answer all my questions made the experience pleasant and stress-free.

The quality of work performed by Grant was top-notch. The plumbing issue was resolved quickly and effectively, and everything has been functioning perfectly since his visit. I appreciate the honesty and transparency he provided regarding the work needed and the costs involved—there were no hidden fees or surprises.

I highly recommend Rooter Man Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing services. The professionalism and skill demonstrated by Grant are a testament to the company's commitment to excellence. Thank you, Rooter Man, and especially Grant, for the exceptional service. You have earned a loyal customer!

We were assigned Rooter-Man of Omaha by our home warranty company due to a leak at the faucet in our primary bathtub, which caused water to come through a light fixture in the living room ceiling below.

I should note that I’m not sure if Rooter-Man of Omaha and Thomas Plumbing are the same entity, but they share the same address per Google, and calls from Rooter-Man show up as Thomas Plumbing on caller ID. Very confusing.

I filed the claim and was told Rooter-Man would contact us within 24 hours. I did not hear from them for four DAYS, at which point I called the provided number. The call was answered by a man who did not identify himself or the business. He confirmed he was with Rooter-Man and said the office manager would call me to schedule an appointment, but also commented that since it was a jetted tub, he might not be able to help.

No call ever came, so I called again and spoke to Dawn, who I later confirmed was the office manager. Dawn told me during this call—and at least one after—that the delay was due to them having “actual emergencies.” They could not send anyone out for almost a week.

The ONLY positive interaction we had with Rooter-Man was the technician they sent. He arrived a week and a half after our initial call, was polite and professional, identified the issue, and said he would submit the report to the home warranty that day, order the part, and that the repair would likely be completed that week. This was a Monday.

When I heard nothing by Friday, I called the technician. He was apologetic and said the office staff was submitting documentation to the warranty company and approval was needed before repairs could proceed. I then called the office and spoke to Dawn again. She said the claim had been submitted and the technician was waiting on the part. The stories didn’t align.

Over the next few weeks, I repeatedly called for updates and continued reaching the unidentified man, who said the office staff would call me back. They never did.

After a full month of no progress, I contacted the home warranty company to escalate. They confirmed the claim had been approved and that Rooter-Man should be in touch to complete the repair this week.

Today is Friday, and I still had heard nothing. When I called, Dawn told me the part had been ordered—an update she had already given me weeks earlier. I questioned why sourcing a tub faucet was taking so long and expressed frustration with her repeated use of “actual emergencies” as an explanation for their lack of communication. I explained this came across as rude and poor customer service, something echoed in other reviews for both Rooter-Man and Thomas Plumbing. Dawn reacted defensively and did not agree that four weeks was an unreasonable timeline.

She put me on hold to “check the status of the part,” but instead a man named Bill returned to the line. Bill stated Dawn was not actually checking on the part and said they were “clearly not going to make me happy” and would be telling the home warranty company they would no longer assist me.

In summary, after a month of excuses, unresponsiveness, and poor customer service, this company has done absolutely nothing to resolve our issue, and I am back to square one.

I would not recommend Rooter-Man or Thomas Plumbing for any reason—especially not in an “actual emergency.”

Can't say enough about the service we received from DRZ. These guys went out of their way to help us out when we were in a bind. The communication was fantastic, the job was completed within hours. Thank you DRZ.

Awesome company with top notch employees. Had a somewhat emergent leaking pipe, they were able to come out same day and get things fixed right away. Hope we don’t need them again anytime soon but wouldn’t even think of using anyone else.
