This is the third time Standard Heating & Air Conditioning has rescued us. The difference this time - it was a Sunday and cold with an impending blizzard. They answered their phone fast, came to our house within an hour, answered every question (and I ask a lot), said out loud “Don’t worry Deb, we got you. I won’t take advantage of you. I know this is unexpected and not fun.” James reviewed everything explained the costs shared where he could reduce some costs and gave me things to consider so we could make an informed decision. They came out first thing today (Monday) and started the work. We kept saying that we clearly got the A Team today but in reality there’s never been a B Team sent to us from Standard. The two gentlemen that worked on the system explain everything concisely and dealt with our work from home conference call schedules and our 6 month old labradoodle who wanted to be friends with them immediately. Julie from the main office was extremely patient with me especially when I wanted to split payment methods. Amy from the main office guided us on service needs as well. We received clear instructions on how to maintain the system before they left and they showed us what they did to ensure it was wired and piped correctly for comfort and code. All of this combined plus the fact that their proposed price was $6k less than what the others were quoting. Standard listened to what we needed and understood that I didn’t need to be sold to I simply needed some help from a trusted local HVAC company at an unexpected, not so fun time. Thank you!

I called in the morning, about one week after the awful wind storm that devastated Omaha neighborhoods. My expectation was an appointment later in the week but a technician was available that day. Their wait window was 12-4 but I received a phone call at 11:45 they were on the way.

My technician was pleasant, polite , thorough and didn’t make me feel stupid while trying to explain the problem. Standard is my go-to !

Amazing Service and Genuine Care

I cannot express my gratitude for the outstanding service we received from Standard Heating & Air Conditioning. I have been a long time customer with an annual service contract and our AC went out right on the first 85 degree day of 2023. Joe came over right away, quoted me a great price, and made the whole situation very quick and smooth. The next week they installed a brand new AC in about 5 hours. While at my house their service team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for our family. They understood the urgency of the situation and made us feel important.
